Bonsoir, Nous revenons du Iberostar Daiquiri de Cayo Guillermo. Nous avons réservé via Vacances Air Canada, avec pré-sélection de siège très longtemps à l avance (plusieurs mois)...et avons eu droit à l'aller et au retour, à des repas chauds...Air Canada...nous aimons bien......Ce que nous aimons moins.....dans leur nouvelle brochure 'Reves Soleil'....ils offrent toujours les hôtels habituels...sauf....que la prochaine fois...nous aimerions BEAUCOUP aller au Melia de Cayo Guillermo, que nous avons visité à 3 reprises....mais que ' Vacances Air Canada ' n'offre pas ;-((( pas chanceux.....Connaissez-vous des grossistes qui offrent des forfaits...à cet hôtel....mais avec Air Canada ...comme compagnie aérienne??? Nous aimerions, si nous en avons réellement le choix, mieux que Air Transat ( je n ai rien par contre, contre eux...sauf que j'aime un peu mieux la fiabilité de Air Canada ) Pouvez vous nous conseiller????? MERCI!!
Malheureusement la seule facon d'obtenir cet hôtel est vraiment avec Air Transat car il est en exclusivité avec ce grossiste... et bien entendu leurs vols seront bien sur avec Transat ou même peut-être west Jet....Vous devrez donc vous contenter de déguster leur merveilleux petit sandwich sec...
Nous devrons peut etre nous y résoudre !! Quoique pour le Melia, cela serait génial....faut faire des choix difficiles parfois...pas toujours évident. Mais il en vaudrait plus que la peine... Nous avons fait 1 voyage avec Air Transat, et à ce moment c'était pour Aruba...Air Canada ne l'offrait pas encore à ce moment...Nous ne l'avons pas regretté alors... Le reste de tous nos autres voyages (plusieurs dizaines), toujours avec Air Canada.. Qu est ce que la fidélité ne nous ferait pas faire comme choix, parfois 😉
Kmarshall a raison. Le Melia Cayo Guillermo est offert en exclusivité par Vacances Air Transat depuis plusieurs années, peut-être même depuis son ouverture il y a maintenant 5 ans. Si tu veux y aller tu n'auras donc pas le choix, ce ne sera pas avec Air Canada. Mais je crois que ça en vaut la peine!!!
Au fait ? T'es revenu quelle date avec Air Canada ? Ou partie à quelle date ? Car on était sûrement dans le même avion... car nous avons voyagé avec Air Canada nous aussi !

Je dirais que le mieux c'est de t'informer a ton agent de voyage, car quelques fois air transat nolise des vols avec air canada. Je pars Samedi pour Cuba avec vacance air transat sur un vol d'air canada 🤪. C'est pas fréquent toutefois ça arrive a l'occasion m'as dit mon agent de voyage... donc croise les doigts et informe toi....😏
Bonjour PirateRousse ;-) Sommes partis dimanche le 26.06 et revenus le dimanche 10.7. Nous avons bien aimé de Iberostar, très familial, ce que nous recherchions au départ...avec bonne bouffe, et belle longue plage pour marcher...je l'ai fait jusqu'à votre hôtel, soit le Sol....Que l'eau y était belle ;-) Turquoise...et chaude............. Vous étiez 'gagnants'!! C'était la plus belle de Cayo Guillermo, pour l'avoir fait d'un bout à l'autre ..... Pour notre part, je retournerais, la prochaine fois au Melia, pour la végétation, la bouffe (meilleure d'après plusieurs personnes), la plage, piscine...même des hamacs...Notre guide nous a vanté cet hôtel, comme étant le meilleur de Cayo Guillermo...et je crois qu'il a probablement raison, pour ce que nous avons pu y voir en y passant...
Si j'ai un conseil à vous donner, c'est de regarder l'hôtel avant l'avion. Après tout, vous serez seulement 7 heures dans l'avion (aller et retour), mais 1 ou 2 semaines à l'hôtel!
Pour ma part, j'ai toujours pris les forfaits avec le vol le plus économique, même Jetsgo avant la faillite, et je n'ai jamais regretté mon choix de voyage à cause de l'avion. Ce n'est qu'un moyen de s'y rendre...
Bonsoir Richard🤪 je serais plus tenté de choisir une 'compagnie d'avion fiable (Air Canada)' plutôt qu'un hôtel ( à moins que vous ne me convainquiez... ) car avec l'ouragan Denis...vous avez vu ce que les vacanciers pensaient de 'Vacances Air Transat'...ils n'étaient pas tous très satisfaits...non? Ils ont été " rapatriés" si vous me permettez l'expression, je crois 2 jours après...que l'ont été les clients de 2 villes canadiennes (autre que le Québec, et je ne me souviens plus du nom Calgary ou Toronto...je crois...) Pourtant je crois, que les clients du Québec avaient les mêmes droits qu'eux..Nous voyageons à 95% du temps avec Vacances AirCanada, et n'avons jamais été déçus, à date..... L hôtel Melia que j'aime bien est un 4 et demi*...faudrait que je regarde pour la même côte...mais un hôtel différent....A date, nous avions pensé au Blau de Cayo Coco... A moins....
🤪Richard...je m'excuse...ce n est pas l'ouragan Dennis que je vous mentionnais tantot... ( c'était celui qui nous a affecté cependant à Cayo Guillermo ) ... mais bien l'ouragan suivant 'EMILY' qui a affecté le Yucatan (Cancun...) et dont les clients de Vacances Air Transat, ont été 'rapatriés' par 2 avions (et vol de nuit en plus)...
les ouragans sont des circonstances exceptionnelles sur lesquelles il ne faut pas se baser pour juger d'une compagnie aérienne. Je voyage 2 fois par année au moins et plus souvent qu'autrement avec Air Transat. Je n'ai jamais eu un mauvais service et de façon générale les horaires des vols sont respectés. Air Canada offre un meilleur service à bord, permet plus de bagage et les sièges sont plus confortables. Mais pour moi ça ne vaut pas le surplus à payer pour un forfait identique.
Quant au Blau de Cayo Coco, je ne crois pas qu'il soit l'équivalent du Melia Cayo Guillermo.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
