Le plus gros problème serait le coût de la vie en Suisse...là où je suis, à Munich, le coût de la vie est probablement le plus élevé de l'Allemagne mais bon...ce n'est pas comparable à la Suisse.
J'ai ententu dire que trouver un logement à Genève était très difficile. Est-ce également le cas pour les logements étudiants? Je suis certaine qu'il y en a pas assez pour tous les étudiants, ca c'est clait mais si je m'y prend à l'avance aurais-je vraiment des chances de trouver un logement? Qu'est ce que ca pourrait me coûter?
Ensuite, pour la nourriture, les sorties etc... c'est vraiment la mort comme on le dis ou on s'y habitue? Combien d'argent un étudiant devrait-il prévoir en un mois en tout?

Oui c'est très difficile mais pas impossible, il y a une cité universitaire que tu peux contacter pour voir les disponibilités en places. sinon tu peux t'orienter vers une colocation, ca peut être aussi sympa 🙂

Pour la bouffe, c'est pas plus cher qu'ailleurs et tu as pleins de solution pour manger a bas prix (que ce soit la carte "assiette genevoise" ou tu ne paie qu'un repas pour 2 personnes) ou les nombreux petits bistrots qui te proposent des plats du jour a prix correct, sans compter les nombreuses cafeterias Migros, COOP etc... bref, on peut bien manger sur Genève 😛
Genève est loin d'être une ville morte, je suis beaucoup sorti et m'y suis beaucoup amusé durant mes études, il y a une boite dans la cité U, il y a aussi de nombreux endroits sympas pour sortir pas trop cher en vieille ville et surtout a Carouge, entre autres... 😎 De plus Lausanne n'est pas loin et est une ville "complémentaire" pour les sorties ainsi que Nyon que j'aime beaucoup. En été les nombreux festivals (Nyon, Montreux, Avanche, etc...) et les fêtes de Genève te montreront la richesse des activités de loisir et de fiesta en Suisse 😉
Pour le budget je pense qu'il te faudrait au moins 1500 CHF/mois (environ 1000 Euros) par mois mais tu peux toujours travailler, de nombreux jobs étudiants sont proposés a l'agence de placement de l'Université 😉
Tu peux toujours habiter du coté français si tu ne trouves pas a te loger a Genève mais ton budget transport en sera plus elevé, en plus c'est devenu assez cher avec des prix proches de ceux en ville 😕

Je n'en sais rien et ne voudrai pas dire de bêtises mais il me semble qu'il est plutôt réservé aux étudiants étrangers (juste une impression issue de mes visites a la cité U, a prendre avec réserve 😕). En fait ca dépend surtout de ce que tu veux étudier a Genève, il y a des secteurs intéressants ou Genève est bien placé au niveau international et d'autres beaucoup moins, il faut valoriser l'investissement pour ton futur.

Je vous suggère de contacter le service des étudiants de la faculté qui vous intéresse à l'université de Genève, qui pourra vous renseigner question logements (www.unige.ch)
Se loger à la frontière est une solution mais les prix ne sont pas nécessairement plus intéressants qu'à Genève même et il faut faire attention à certaines zones du côté de Annemasse qui ne sont pas franchement sympathiques. Pour les déplacements, l'idéal et le moins cher est le vélo vu la taille de la ville, le nombre de pistes cyclables et la possibilité de se procurer des vélos d'occasion à bas prix via divers commerces et associations comme ProVelo, etc.
Il ne faut pas se préoccuper des glapissements hystériques d'une minorité qui a décidé que tous les malheurs de Genève venaient des frontaliers, d'autant plus que cette responsabilité est attribuée de jour en jour à une population différente au gré du dernier fait-divers (les mendiants Roms, les réfugiés-tous-trafiquants Lfricains, les Lybiens, les ressortissants d'Europe de l'Est, les Zurichois, les extra-terrestres, etc.).

En parlant d'admission, est-ce que quel qu'un s'y connait un peu?? J'aimerais faire la faculté de droit... Je suis en Allemagne mais j'aurai mon baccalauréat francais. J'ai vu qu'il fallait avoir une moyenne de 12/20 c'est à dire au moins une mention "assez bien"...mais sachant que les résultats du bac sortent fin juin et que l'admission commence au mois de janvier, j'en conclu qu'il faudra envoyer son dossier et que tout se jouera sur les notes obtenues pendant les deux premiers trimestres de terminale non? Alors la vie à Genève est assez chère et le logement pas très facile à trouver, mais certaine école (autre que l'unige) proposent des services d'hébergement. Notamment les écoles privées qui ont généralement une rapport avec l'étudiant plus proche que es grandes universités. After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
