Bonjour a tous, Je rentre de 12 jours au Senegal passe a visiter et rencontrer ces personnes ( qui ont garde le vrai sens des valeurs) avec l'aide des taxis brousse et les jaune ( salut Billy nous somme reste en contact si vous passez sur Ziguinchor ). Dakar, la Casamance en passant par la Gambie pour finir par Goree et a chaque jour une ou plusiuers rencontres aves des personnes qui me guidaient et m'accompagnaient le plus souvent gratuitement vers des campements ou hotels me voyant seul avec mon sac.... Enfin bon trop long a raconter....mais j'ai passe les trois derniers jours en partie avec des handicapes moteurs ( je travaille moi meme aupres d'handicapes en France ) et je cherche desesperement un moyen de les aider d'un point de vue materiel ou pourquoi pas travailler avec eux Toutes vos sugestions seront les bienvenue et je manquerais pas d'y repondre. Bonjour,

Ton but est-il d'aider les handicapés moteurs que tu as rencontrés la-bas ? Ou bien d'aider au Sénégal quelque soit le domaine ?

Dans le 2nd cas, connais-tu Santé Sans Passeport ?

C'est une ONG humanitaire qui a pour but d'apporter au Sénégal principalement, et maintenant au Niger également, une aide médicale en matériel et médicaments, ainsi qu'un suivi médical 2 fois par an (un équipe composée du président de l'ONG, de 2 infirmières et d'un accompagnateur viennent sur place pour soigner les populations dans les petits villages de brousse).

Il n'y a que 3 ONG médicales qui partent au Sénégal, et Santé Sans Passeport a bien sur besoin de volontaires dans le domaine médical et paramédical, mais également de personnes motivées qui peuvent et veulent donner de leur temps pour accompagner et aider la mission sur place (sans être forcément du monde médical). Pour en savoir plus sur cette ONG et sur le déroulement d'une mission, voici leur site internet : http://www.santesanspasseport.fr/

Sur leur site, il y ar les dates des prochaines missions prévues. Les missions durent généralement 2 semaines au Sénégal, et 3 semaines au Niger.

Sur le site tu y trouveras aussi le compte rendu fait par un accompagnateur d'une mission au Sénégal, et d'une autre mission au Niger. Cela te permettra de voir comment se déroule une mission SSP.

Si tu es interressé, ou si tu veux plus de renseignements sur l'ONG après avoir parcouru leur site, le mieux est que tu contacte directement le président de l'ONG à santesanspasseport free fr pour lui faire part de ta motivation.

Si vous souhaitez travailler en Casamance pour les handicapés, sûrement que Handicap International à Ziguinchor peut être un bon relais !

bonjour, Merci Tokala pour ta reponse j'ai fait un petit tour ( pour l'instant...)sur le site et il se trouve qu'il sont pas tres loing de chez moi donc je pense que je vais m'arranger pour avoir un RV ils pouront surement me guider. Merci Geli pour le lien, des souvenirs de la Casamance j'en ai plein la tète et plein mon ordi avec les photos et videos ....😄 de toute façon j'y retournerais.. A bientot...

Humanitarian trip project to Madagascar with a group of teens in 2021
Hello,

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year. Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.

They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.

But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.). Does anyone know of any contacts, please? Looking forward to your replies. Have a great evening!

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Meaningful family trip to Madagascar (volunteering)
Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
