Je suis étudiante et je dois partir 4 mois au Burkina Faso pour à stage, plus précisément à Dori. Je trouve peu d'informations sur cette ville ainsi que sur la province de Seno.
Une personne peut elle me donner quelques informations notamment sur les moyens de transports pour s'y rendre, l'hébergements, la vie la bas...?
Bonjour je suis allé à Dori fin juin 2009, après avoir passé 3 semaines à Ouaga et dans un village à 50km de Ouaga. Pour aller à Dori j'ai pris le bus à Ouaga à 6h du matin, pour la somme de 4000FCFA. Je ne me souviens plus du nom de la compagnie, mais toutes ne partent pas au Sahel tous les matins.
Je ne suis resté que 10 jours au Sahel, et je me suis fait accosté par un des nombreux guides à mon arrivée à Dori: ils proposent des sorties, des visites, des fêtes, mais pour la plupart à un prix très élevé. Ils acceptent également de t'héberger; et en contrepartie tu peux leur acheter de la nourriture; par contre peut-être ne souhaiteras-tu pas être hébergée par la même personne durant tes 4 mois de stages, mais tu peux commencer comme ça. Si tu préfères dormir à l'hôtel je ne peux pas te renseigner, je préférais être au coeur de la population et ainsi apprendre davantage leurs coutumes et leur mode de vie. Sinon l'hôtel propose des chambres ventilées ou climatisées relativement coûteuses (16000FCFA la nuit), mais confortables je présume, si tu ne souhaites pas dormir pendant 4 mois sur une natte.
La nourriture que tu trouveras sur le marché ne coûte pas cher, de même que dans les petits restaurants sympathiques (400FCFA le repas à base de riz ou de pâtes); cela dit fais attention, tout ce qui est indiqué sur la carte n'est pas forcément dans leurs stocks. Il y a des banques de retrait pour carte VISA à Dori, mais si tu quittes la ville tu n'en trouveras plus, donc penses à emporter suffisamment d'argent avec toi.
Si tu souhaites te déplacer dans les autres villes du Sahel tu devras utiliser le taxi-brousse, équivalent au minibus français mais beaucoup moins confortable. Il n'y a pas de départs tous les matins, cela varie en fonction du jour du marché de la ville où tu souhaites aller. Le prix est généralement 2000 FCFA.
A Dori tout le monde parle français, de même que dans les autres villes du Sahel; cependant si tu souhaites visiter des villages (je t'encourage en ce sens, et même à y vivre quelques jours), tu auras besoin d'un guide car les personnes parlant français y sont très rares: 3 ethnies cohabitent au Sahel, avec chacune leur dialecte.
Pour finir, je n'ai pas appris les noms des provinces, donc je ne sais pas ce qu'est Seno, peut-être veux-tu parler de la région de Dori... Si tu as besoin de davantage de renseignements, n'hésites pas!
Il y a plusieurs compagnies qui desservent Dori, mais la meilleure est sans doute la STMB.
Pour l'hébergement, 2 hôtels corrects:
- hôtel Sahel Hébergement: chambre ventilée à 5000 Fcfa ou climatisée à 10000 Fcfa.
- hôtel Dintal: chambre ventilée à 7500 Fcfa ou climatisée à 15000 Fcfa.
Normalement, je devrais voyager dans les villages autour de Dori puisque que mon stage consiste à monter et gérer des projets de développement pour venir en aider au paysans du Sahel. L'organisme qui m'accueille s'appelle Nodde Nooto. Peut être que quelqu'un connait cette association?
Ma crainte concerne plutôt la sécurité la bas. Beaucoup de gens me parlent d'arnaques et d'agressions et comme je suis une fille et je pars toute seule, je me pose cette question. Mais j'ai entendu aussi beaucoup de choses positives sur le Burkina et j'espère passé un bon moment la bas et pourquoi pas revenir!!
Merci aussi pour les informations concernant les hôtels, il est vrai que je préfère être hébergé soit dans une famille soit dans un logement bien à moi, c'est mieux pour 4 mois don si vous avez des contacts, je suis intéressée!!
Les habitants à Dori sont très accueillants (beaucoup plus qu'à Oursi), ainsi que dans les villages. Je me promenais seul au hasard des rues et les habitants me proposaient de venir boire un thé avec eux, mon vélo était devenu hors d'usage lors de mon retour d'Oursi à Gorom et un motard m'a fait monté gratuitement sur son véhicule, ayant accroché mon vélo à l'arrière. En ce qui concerne les évènements négatifs, lors de la tentative infructueuse de réparation de mon vélo, 2 enfants se sont approchés, ont ouvert mon sac et pris ma sacoche, qui ne comportait heureusement "que" 4000 FCFA et mon amorce de dictionnaire français-mooré (dialecte parlé à Ouaga et aux alentours). Cela dit je n'avais jamais entendu parler de vols, et encore moins d'agressions, au Sahel.
Pour les contacts j'ai seulement ceux des guides rencontrés dans les villes de Dori, Gorom et Oursi. Mais tu les rencontreras bien assez tôt à ton arrivée en bus. Le guide de Gorom était très intéressant et n'a jamais cherché à m'arnaquer, si tu y fais un tour je peux te donner ses coordonnées si tu le souhaites. Pour les arnaques au quotidien, l'idéal est quand même de connaître les prix des produits usuels, mais l'association avec laquelle tu oeuvreras te conseillera. Tu auras aussi probablement des taxes à dpayer au chef du village dans lequel tu passeras la nuit.
Mis à part les habitants d'Oursi, j'ai été enchanté de mon séjour au Sahel!
En cherchant des infos sur le Burkina, je tombe par hasard sur ton message... Je m'apprête moi aussi à partir travailler à Douri, auprès de Nodde Nooto!
