Bonjour, j'ai bientôt 21 ans, je suis en 2eme année en IUT Gestion Logistique et Transport, mon stage aura lieu sur 2 moi et débutera mars 2011
J'ai depuis longtemps souhaité l'effectuer dans le domaine de l'humanitaire.
Mais voila après avoir surfé sur le net je commence a me posé quelques questions :
- ma démarche a t'elle une réelle chance d'aboutir ?
- L'organisme en question pourra t'il me donner des missions en réel lien avec mes études ?
et surtout à quels organismes m'adresser ?
J'aimerai avoir votre avis avant de lancer mes lettres de motivation au petit bonheur la chance.

J'ai déjà vu passer des offres de stage de la part d'ACF à Paris, en logistique justement: ça sentait les cartons pour l'expédition 🙂
Vas sur les sites des ONG, la plupart d'entre elles ont une partie emploi: consulte la régulièrement. Renseigne toi sur le type d'intervention des ONG, leur champs d'action, les pays. Si c'est une structure qui se limite à envoyer des medecins, il y a peu de chances que tu les intéresses.
Envois une lettre tu verras bien. Précise bien tes attentes: donne des points sur lesquels tu souhaiterais travailler, pour les renforcer. Si ça ne remplit pas tes conditions, laisse faire ou bien met en stand by.
Les grosses structures vont avoir un gros pôle d'expédition (MSF par exemple), c'est la où tu auras le plus de chance de trouver quelque chose en raison du volume qui est brassé.
À l'inverse, une petite structure à beaucoup à t'apporter: tu représentes une main d'œuvre supplémentaire, avec la possibilité de toucher à tout.

Je suis en L3 de L.E.A. et je dois faire un stage en relation avec la logistique, l'import/export. Aujourd'hui on m'a donné l'idée de le faire dans une O.N.G. ce que je trouve parfait car cela correspond à mes attentes.
J'essaie de trouver qq témoignages afin de me faire une idée, même si je compte tenter par moi-même. Toute expérience est intéressante!

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
