Je suis étudiant en master 2 "action humanitaire et analyse de crises" et je suis à la recherche d'un stage d'une durée minimale de 4 mois. Je souhaiterais m'orienter vers la gestion de projet. Je porte un intérêt particulier aux questions environnementales, au mouvement des populations et à la problématique d'accès aux soins. Je suis plus attiré par le continent africain et l'Amérique du Sud cependant aucune destination ne me déplairait si la mission est importante. Je parle français, anglais et allemand et possède des notions en espagnol, portugais et italien. Enfin je suis ouvert à toute autre domaine (éducation, défense des droits de l'homme, ...) et poste (dans le financement, logistique, ...) qui me permettraient de développer mes compétences et acquérir de l’expérience au sein d’une ONG et dans la réalisation d’un projet de sa naissance à sa mise en œuvre. Voilà pour mes objectifs, je n'ai toujours pas réussi à trouver ce stage mais je ne baisse pas les bras et espère que vous aurez quelques conseils ou propositions (on ne sait jamais...) à m'offrir.

Je m'appelle Abdallah (Sahel2020 sur voyage forum). Je suis le secrétaire exécutif d'une fédération d'associations sahéliennes toutes légalement reconnues. Je suis actuellement le coordonnateur d'un petit projet d'amélioration de la sécurité alilmentaire des éleveurs nomades (voir Maroobe sur VF). Les questions environnementales, les mouvements des populations et à la problématique d'accès aux soins qui présentent pour toi un intérêt particulier sont aussi pour nous, des questions essentielles du fait de notre situation géographique et de nos conditions climatiques. Mais la situation des femmes est si peu enviable que nous l'avons inscrite au rang de nos priorités et avons élaboré un plan d'action pour la promotion féminine.
En dehors de cela, nous faisons face à un taux d'analphabétisme si élevé que nous pouvons difficilement faire participer les populations aux différents processus de développement.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
