donc voila je voyage en amerique latine depuis bientot 6 mois ( Argentine, Chili et Perou pour le moment) et apres avoir fait divers petits boulots ici et visites bien sur, j aimerai m engager pour 1 mois dans une association en contact direct avec des personnes: gens de la rue, personnes handicapes, enfants, ... a lima ou cusco.
Je suis bien sur aller voir avant sur internet mais n ayant pas d adresses ou autres points de depart, internet se transforme rapidement en une poubelle ou l on trouve un peu de tout et n importe quoi. J avoue donc profiter un peu du fait de la simplicite de ce site et surtout de vos experiences pour m aider a trouver ou ne serait ce que me conseiller dans ma recherche.

je ne peux malheureusement pas t'aider pour le benevolat, en revanche, j'aimerais bien que tu me parle de ton expérience en amerique du sud, je pars ds qq mois pour un periple de un an et je pense qu'il me serait tres profitable de connaitre ton experience. Notamment si tu voyage seule et s'il ne t'ai rien arriver, cela me permettrait peut etre de rassurer mon entourage.

Donc en ce qui me concerne mon voyage est egalement d un an (environ) comme je l ai deja dis, jai fait pour l instant Argentine, Chili et Perou, pour la suite : Bolivie, Equateur, Colombie et on verra ... Et oui je voyage seule et sans Aucuns problemes !
Tres franchement, je pense que tu peux grandement te rassurer toi et ta famille car les gens sont tres accueillants en general mais je crois encore plus quand tu es une fille seule. Ils ont tres facilement un cote protecteur. Dis toi que dans tout les cas que tu sois en France ou ailleurs il peut t arriver les memes choses et puis c est aussi a toi de rester toujours vigilante malgre tout.
Apres je sais pas trop quoi te dire, il y a tellement a dire ... Si tu as des questions ou que tu veux des renseignements sur certains points, n hesite pas !
Je ne sais pas si as trouvé ton volontariat à Lima, mais pour ma part, je ferai une mission d'un mois, au sein de l'association Mano a Mano, créée par Sylvie Duman, qui y vit depuis plusieurs années. Il s'agit d'une sorte de dispensaire qui accueille les enfants, mais également les femmes, d'un bidonville de Lima. Tu pourras découvrir toutes les actions sur leur site : www.manoamanoperou.org/
Ils te demanderont une participation au frais de logement et nourriture, pas énorme...

Vos messages ont retenu mon attention car je suis également à la recherche de contacts d'associations LOCALES au Pérou pour m'investir quelques mois à leurs côtés. d'après vos messages je pense que nos envies et recherches se rejoignent car je ne veux pas partir avec un organisme de volontariat occidental qui fait payer ces séjours humanitaires. je souhaite plutôt m'investir dans une association comme je le fais au quotidien en France dans les villes que je traverse et où j'ai habité.
Sinon, je suis plutôt à la recherche d'assos qui oeuvrent dans le social puisque j'ai une formation en psychologie, en anthropologie et en animation et je m'engage depuis 5 ans dans des associations d'éducation populaire. donc je ne sais pas si mon "profil" et mes envies colleraient avec les projets des assos que vous connaissez mais si vous avez plus d'informations sur les associations avec lesquelles vous êtes en contact je suis intéressée pour échanger.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
