Compte tenu d'infrastructures sanitaires peu développées, la souscription d'une assurance rapatriement est impérative.Consultez votre médecin (éventuellement votre dentiste) et souscrivez à une compagnie d'assistance couvrant les frais médicaux et le rapatriement sanitaire. Paludisme :
Classification en zone 3. Maladie parasitaire transmise par les piqûres de moustiques qui impose le recours à des mesures de protection individuelle (sprays, crèmes, diffuseurs électriques, moustiquaires, etc.). A ces mesures doit s'ajouter un traitement médicamenteux adapté à chaque individu : il convient de s'adresser à votre médecin habituel ou à un centre de conseils aux voyageurs. Le traitement devra être poursuivi après le retour en France durant une durée variable selon le produit utilisé. Durant votre séjour, et durant les deux mois qui suivent votre retour, en cas de fièvre, un avis médical doit être pris rapidement pour mettre en œuvre dès que possible un traitement antipaludique éventuel. Vaccinations : La vaccination contre la rage peut également être proposée dans certains cas. De même, la stricte observance de mesures d'hygiènes élémentaires (hygiène des mains et qualité de l'eau de boisson) est impérative. Hygiène alimentaire (prévention de la diarrhée du voyageur et du choléra :
Il est conseillé de ne pas boire l'eau du robinet : préférez les eaux en bouteilles capsulées. A défaut, consommez de l'eau filtrée, bouillie et décontaminée.
Veillez à un lavage régulier et soigneux des mains avant chaque repas. Lors de la consommation dans les bars et restaurants, veillez à ce que les boissons gazeuses soient ouvertes à votre table.
VIH et autres maladies sexuellement transmissibles imposent un comportement responsable.Quelques règles simples :
Ne consommez jamais de médicaments achetés dans la rue (risques de contrefaçons, conditions de stockage douteuses). Emportez dans vos bagages les médicaments dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.
Certains parasites pouvant se déposer sur les vêtements (ver de Cayor), il est préférable d'éviter de s'étendre à même le sol et conseillé de repasser au fer chaud le linge séché à l'extérieur ou confié au pressing, afin de tuer les œufs qui pourraient s'y déposer.
La chaleur et le soleil peuvent être nocifs : veillez à une hydratation abondante lors de la pratique d'un sport, veillez à porter chapeau, lunettes de soleil et prévoyez une crème solaire à fort indice de protection. Tarifs vol entre 1000e et 2000e voir périodes.

Sinon tournez-vous vers l'ambassade de France à Brazza et les association d'expatriés françaises. Ce sera le meilleur moyen de vous faire un réseau rapidement et d'avoir des infos sur le tarif des loyers, bon ou mauvais plan etc....

Pour ceux qui cherchent un logement à Brazzaville, des amis du coin font louer une villa avec 5 chambres dont une suite parentale avec salle de bain + 1 pièce équipée d'un bureau, 2 douches + 2 WC, un grand salon, une cuisine, un garage fermé communiquant directement avec la maison, un balcon (maison à étage) dans le quartier Bacongo (situé à environ 5 minutes en voiture du centre ville).
