tu n'a aucune crainte a avoir, je reviens hier de RD, séjour réussi, cominicains sympa, très sympa, ont a beaucoup bougé, pas de barbelé aucune crainte a avoir meme dans les santier battu. je pense qu'il y a moins de crainte qu'en france. tous ce qui se dit c'est les tours opérateurs qui mous font peur pour rester dans leur griffes et dépenser et rapporter de l'argent pour eux .pense aux dominicains c'est eux qui ont besoins d'argent et il sont tres sympa
Ne mettez pas tout sur le dos des TO, le mien ne m'a jamais dit qu'il était dangereux de sortir de l'hôtel. Pensez aussi que ce sont des dominicains qui travaillent dans les hôtels. D'ailleurs vous les trouvez sympas!
bonjour, je trouve les dominicains très sympa d'ailleurs c'est pourquoi j'y suis retourné cette année. mais l'an passé la personne qui représentait notre TO nous a bien dit de ne pas sortir seul de l'hotel et de prendre les excursions par leur soin car il y avait des risques et que l'on pouvait sze faire attaquer a l'arme blanche. cette année nous avons prie nos excursions en dehors de l'hotel, nous avons pris des taxis et avons aussi beaucoup visiter et tou s'est bien passé il sont rès sympa, toujours a faire la fête et danser enfin ds vacances super. mais c'est vrai que les TO nous mette en garde et que la première année ne sachant pas j'en ai tenue compte, et j'ai regretté. a bientot lisa
C'est exactement ce que l'on m'a dit. J'ai les mêmes soucis que toi, sauf que moi je dois partir le 14 mai. Et plus le jour "J" approche plus j'entends des choses étranges sur ce pays. D'après les echos que j'en ai eu. Il n'y a pas grande possibilité de sortir du club ou alors sous surveillance. C'est le bagne ou des vacances !!! Je te dirais à mon retour.

Parce que d'après ce que j'ai comme information les loisirs sont apparament assez cher et j'arrive pas bien à me rendre compte de ce qu'il faut que je prenne sur moi. Ma collègue revient de RD avec ses deux petites filles de 3 et 5 ans. Aucun problème à l'horizon. Rien Rien Rien et surtout pas de gens armés de machette ou de couteaux entre les dents, prêt à vous trancher la gorge.
Je lui avais bien dit qu'il n'y avait aucun soucis à se faire.
Nous y sommes allé deux fois. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problèmes !!!
je suis desolée, pour ces personnes qui ont pû vs raconter des bêtises pareils, je pense que se sont des plaisantins, mais en tous les cas je peux vs assurer que vs serez enchantez, comme ns l'avons été, ns y retournons la semaine prochaine et c pour la 3ème fois, alors vs voyez, je crois que si cela se passait si mal que ça, ns ne serions pas retourné d'aussitôt, partez tranquille et vs ns raconterez à votre retour vos impressions bon voyage à vs
je rentre de 15 jours de vacances à bayahibe, j'étais logé prés du port dans un petit appartement chez un dominicain ami, j'ai silloné toute la RD et je n'ai rien vu d'inquiétant si ce n'est quelques gros touristes argentés, puant de suffisance et de nationalité diverses.
il est sur que si tu te proménes le soir dans les zones X de HIGUEY, ST DOMINGUE....tu peux risquer, là c'est différent mais ce sera ton choix.
donc aucune inquiétude à avoir.
Concernant les excursions, sache que si tu sors des agences locales internationales et te renseignes auprés des dominicains, tu trouveras pour moitié moins cher et surtout ce qu'il faut voir. Evite la piscine à dauphins qui est un désatre pour ces animaux
😇c'est super que tu aille en rd en juillet car nour aussi et a puerto plata nous aussi c'est notre premier voyage et on se demandait si on y parlait francais...en tout cas on sera au moin nous...je suis les réponses car mon intérêt aussi😉

N'écoutez pas tous les conseils «dit:avisés» de certains qui se croient obligés de se montrer comme de grands voyageurs. Celà peut être parfois dangereux!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
