Vos adresses pour les magasins d'usines, : jeans et vêtements de sports (même si je passerais pas tout mon séjours dedans, car y'a mieux à voir évidemmment).
nous allons nous remarier à las vegas (un rêve d'enfant à vrai dire) pour un budget modéré et un mariage ou remariage insolite à faire merci de me conseiller.

Bon je n'ai pas envie de te faire peur, mais j'espère que ce voyage aux USA ne sera pas pour vous le dernier et que pour une prochaine fois, vous choisirez l'option de ne rien prévoir ainsi.
Je n'ai aucun doute sur votre bonheur de découvrir l'ouest américain ! de toute manière on ne peux pas être déçu ! Mai là, je crois bien que vous ne vous rendez pas compte de ce qui vous attend !... Des centaines pour ne pas dire milliers de miles ! en seulement 9 jours !
Je m'explique ! Le parcours que vous allez faire en 9 jours, il m'a fallu 3 semaines pour le faire !
Autant dire que faire dans la même journée le Grand canyon en partant de Laughlin et en terminant à Page (Lake Powell) c'est totalement inhumain ! Vous ne verrez même pas ce qui est le plus important ! le couché de soleil sur le grand canyon !... Le tour en hélicoptère... Bref tous ces trucs qu'on fait lorsque l'on reste au moins une journée entière. vous aurez tout juste le temps de prendre deux ou trois photos du grand canyon et vous arriverez la nuit à Lake Powell.
Le lendemain, c'est encore pire je crois !Vous allez à mon avis tout juste voir le lake powell en passant à proximité ! pas de balade sur le lac ! ne pensons même pas à antelope canyon... ensuite Monument Valley, et Bryce canyon... (ces deux parcs sont totalement à l'opposé !) Impossible à moins de passer la journée entière dans le Bus !
La journée 7, est également une journée complète de Bus ! j'ai fais une fois Las vegas via la vallée de la Mort et je me suis arrêté pour dormir vers le desert Mojave (bien avant Bakersfield) ! j'étais totalement mort ! Je n'ai fait que rouler ! et rouler encore !
Et alors, Bakersfield San Francisco en visitant le séquoia, c'est également une journée presque entière de Bus !
Los Angeles en 1 journée, c'est du délire (Ni Disney, ni la côte du sud, ...) et San Francisco en une journée... Y'a tellement de belles choses à voir !!!!! Pour simplement visiter Alcatraz il faut une journée...
Mon dernier voyage a duré 1 mois complet et j'avais un goût de "pas assez" en rentrant !!!
Tout ça pour dire que Je vous conseil de bien ouvrir vos yeux, de profiter de chaque instant. Ce voyage, vous devez le voir comme un premier contact ! pour envisager très vite un autre voyage là bas ! mais seuls ! avec une voiture et le moins de réservations possibles (sauf la première nuit et les parcs nationaux à la limite) et deux billets d'avion en poche !
ça n'engage que moi, mais je pense qu'un voyage comme ça, ça se prépare en amoureux ! ça ne se laisse pas entre les mains d'un voyagiste...
Désolé d'être aussi cru, mais c'est trop dur de voir un tel itinéraire en 9 jours...
Pour le prix que vous y mettez, vous auriez pu avoir au moins 15 jours et bien plus de liberté.
Je doute que vous ayez le temps d'aller dans les outlets....
Quant au (re)mariage à Vegas, peut-on arriver là bas comme des fleurs et demander à se marier tout de suite ?????

Honnêtement, je ne vois pas l'intérêt de visiter à ce rythme là, tu ne vas rien voir et tu seras très frustré ! 😕
Soit tu n'as que 10 jours de vacances, auquel cas, je te suggère de changer d'idée de voyage du moins de circuit. Si tu tiens vraiment à un circuit dans l'ouest, prends au moins minimum 15 jours, et c'est un minimum.
Quant à passer par un T.O, c'est bien dommage mais bon

J'ai regardé à nouveau le parcours... oubliez le mariage à Las Vagas ! vous aurez à peine le temps de voir la ville vous y arrivez le soir et repartez le lendemain matin !...
Vous logez sur Fremont street ! alors promenez vous dans la rue couverte (lumieres garanties !).
Prenez ensuite un taxi pour aller vers l'hôtel stratosphère ! une tour d'environ 300 m avec une vue à vous couper le souffle. 1 tour de manège à 300 mètres de haut au dessus de la stratosphère si vous en avez le courage !!!
Il y a quelques outlets vers l'hôtel stratosphère de mémoire !
Prenez un autre taxi pour aller vers l'hôtel PARIS ou allez y à pied si vous vous sentez le courage !
Profitez de la soirée pour silloner la ville sous les lumières, promenez vous d'hôtels en hôtels. Je vous conseil de traverser les ruelles du new-york new-york, le Aladin et le Paris ! la seule traversée de ces hôtels est déjà assez impressionnante...
La vue du haut de la tour eiffel est très belle de nuit ! Le tour de grand huit de l'hotel new york est sympa aussi !
Ensuite, je vous conseil un autre taxi pour rentrer à l'hôtel !.... Vous ne sentirez plus vos jambes.
Posez vous devant une machine à sous pour jouer quelques cents... Ne trainez pas ! le bus ne tardera pas à repartir ! Voilà ce que l'on peu appeler une nuit blanche !...
Ben ils partent le 18 avril si j'ai bien compris !... c'est donc trop tard pour changer quelque chose... 😉
Dommage qu'il y ait encore des voyagistes qui pratiquent ce type de parcours à la "mission impossible".
Pourquoi poser la question de "Que faut-il voir ?" puisque c'est un tour organisé en groupe et accompagné ... donc tu suis le gentil mossieur et puis c'est tout !!

Pour ajouter une petite louche à l'avis des zotres, Sequoia en bus ça risque de ne pas le faire du tout (mais de toutes façons la visite sera zappée par manque de temps) because trop de neige, par le fait que la route par Three rivers est la plus difficile, parle fait que les bus de + de 12 m y sont interdits.. et etc
regardez sur le site du parc...
Dand le positif, ça vous donnera sûrement l'envie de revenir tout voir par vous mêmes🙂 Surtout pour le mariage à Las Vegas.... vous allez le faire quand??? de nuit????
Depuis le temps que tu es inscris sur le forum, tu aurais eu grandement le temps d'éviter ce circuit catastrophique... c'est une des plus grosses M... en matière de circuit dans l'ouest🏴☠️😠
Pour en revenir à Air Transat, c'est vraiment HONTEUX de vendre un circuit de ce genre, c'est de l'arnaque... et vous êtes malheureusement tombes dans la trappe..d'emblée ce n'est pas faisable, surtout enn groupe.
A votre retour, engagez une "procédure" pour toutes les choses annoncées et que vous n'aurez pu voir, ou qu'entrevoir (photos, temoignages des autres, etc)

Tant pis on profitera quand même je pense (c'est sur on sera fatigués) on peut vivre la nuit et dormir dans le bus peut être...

Pour Speedyj : dormir le jour ?? et alors le paysage splendide de tout ton circuit tu vas le voir quand ?? le bus ne roule pas de nuit car le chauffeur a des temps de repos, lui 😉.
Au contraire taches de les ouvrir grand les yeux car c'est par là qu'on attrape le virus du revenez-y.... et vous y retournerez, ça je te le promets !
Si vous ne réussissez jamais rien du premier coup, n'essayez pas le parachutisme !
Tu peux te marier la nuit sûrement mais il y a des horaires pour obtenir les licences ... la semaine c'est de 8h a minuit.. le week end du vendredi matin 8 h au dimanche soir minuit. et 24H sur 24H les jours fériés..
Pas de remariage avec licence... impossible apparement... et si tu veux 'renouveller tes voeux' dans une chapelle il faut apporter la preuve comme quoi tu es déjà marié😉

Je me suis pas mal ballade aux Etats-Unis.Je pense que si c'est un reve pour vous de se marier a Las Vegas, alors il faut absoluement le faire!!! Peu importe si ca fait court, il ne faut pas laisser passer l'occasion ou vous le regretterez! Vous pouvez tres bien faire une nuit blanche pendant votre arret a Las Vegas puisque la vie se fait la nuit vous profiterez pleinement de la decouverte des hotels et des casinos! Pour le mariage je crois qu'il faut reserver a l avance, je vous conseille de chercher sur le net, il existe des sites qui proposent la resa en ligne il me semble. Tout se fait, avec une personne deguisee en Elvis Presley, en arrivant et partant en limousine... le choix est grand!

rapide pour un si beau voyage...chaque étape mérite au minimum le double
de temps..je trouve vraiment étonnant qu'on vende un circuit pareil...
J'espère simplement que cela vous donnera envie d'y repartir cette fois par vos propres moyens🙂

Vous avez en tout cas plus de chance que la plupart de nous ! Je penserais à vous en grognant lorsque je serais dans mon petit salon et que je vous imaginerais à Las Vegas...

Je suis d'accord avec Tevas, sur le fait qu'il vaut mieus y aller par ses propres moyens.
J'mexplique: Je suis parti 3 fois aux USA à l'ouest avec le CE de la boite aux parents, c'etait fantastique, mais le probleme c'est qu'on doit vivre selon les envies du groupe et on peut pas faire tout ce qu'on veut.
Je pars cette année pour la 4ème fois et bien que cela me coute plus cher que de partir avec le CE, je suis plus content d'y aller, plus pressé, moins anxieux... Peut etre parce que ce voyage me prend du temps, et s'organise à notre maniere (3 potes).
Résultat je fais les 2 cotes Est-Ouest, mes potes n'y ont jamais été, ça risque d'etre extraordinaire. Quant à moi j'ai jamais vu la cote Est, donc je sais d'avance que je vais "kiffer". De plus le fait de délimiter un budget précis et s'y tenir permet des recherches approfondies, et on trouve parfois des choses surprenantes!
Pour ton voyage, j'en ai donc fait 3 du meme style, je te garantis que tu vas adorer, alors profites en bien, et l'an prochain, tache d'y retourner mais sans une agence!😉

Je viens d'aller voir votre circuit sur "transat" et bien j'espère pour vous que des transats vous en aurez dans le bus pour récupérer de la fatigue.
Comme dirait l'amie Fabienne, notez bien tout ce que vous n'aurez pas le temps de voir car c'est folie ce parcours. Faire entre autre Bakersfield, Sequoia, king's canyon et arriver sur SF en soirée, dur dur. J'espère que vous êtes jeunes car pour la récup, cela ne va pas être facile.
Autre chose, Page ===>Monument Valley===>Page===> Bryce Canyon, là aussi c'est dingue, pour les photos va falloir faire du mode rafale car vous n'aurez pas le temps de cadrer. Votre circuit de 9 nuits, je le prévois en 20 nuits pour août 2007 et je l'ai déjà fait en trois et quatre semaines au départ de LA et SF et une d'autres fois au départ de SLC et LV.
Bref bon courage car il va en falloir, surtout avec le décalage, la prochaine fois faite ça tout seul, c'est facile et ça peut rapporter gros aussi 😉
Je confirme l'avis des petits camarades😉 . Ce voyage organisé va être épuisant... Et quand je considère qu'en faisant qqch de semblable en 15 jours, hormis LA, c'était à la limite du survol.
Mais restons positif! Vous allez voir des merveilles qui vous donneront envie d'y revenir, et sans passer par un TO...
Mes conseils, pour une prochaine fois soit prendre un autotour si vous avez peur d'organiser tout vous même, en vérifiant que les étapes sont raisonnables.
Sinon tout organiser par vous-même, c'est très simple avec le net.
Mon habitude : Déterminer son trajet. (bien à l'avance, pour réserver les éventuels hébergements spéciaux très à l'avance, comme au YOSEMITE NP par exemple...) Comparer les vols via www.easyvols.com par exemple, et acheter les tickets auprès de la meilleure agence, voire auprès de la compagnie. Acheter via le net, auprès d'un loueur, sa location auto (belles économies par rapport à une agence). Réserver son hébergement arrivée et départ pour ne pas s'affoler en arrivant. les sites des chaines motel6, daysinn, travelodge, super8, bestwestern peuvent y aider grandement... sans parler bien sûr de notre forum bien-aimé.😉 Mon astuce est parfois de regarder les hotels possibles sur hotels.com et réserver ensuite en direct sur le site de l'hotel ou motel, ce qui évite d'avancer l'argent... (contrairement à hotels.com qui débite la visa immédiatement). Prendre le temps de se préparer une sorte de programme de voyage qui sert de "fil rouge", pour les étapes, en utilisant les guides, cartes et sites webs persos... ou officiels (l'important ce n'est pas tant de le respecter que de l'avoir en tête pour savoir sa marge de manoeuvre si soudain un endroit vous plait).A bientôt et très bon voyage!

Nous allons ensuite à Sherbrooke retrouver notre petite fille qui fait ses études à l université, nous y restons 3 jours et ensuite profitant de sa semaine de relâche nous l embarquons avec nous pour passer 3 jours à Québec.
On a prévu d aller aux chutes de Montmorency et l île d Orléans

Classic itinerary: arrival in Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Clearwater, Whistler, Vancouver Island, departure from Vancouver.
I know you can’t see into the future any better than I can, so I’m obviously not asking what the wildfire situation will be like in a month...
But if any of you could let me know if, CURRENTLY, there are major difficulties—not just for locals, of course, but for tourists as well?
We’re hesitating between taking the chance or canceling what we still can.
We’re not young anymore and don’t have the flexibility we once did...

A friend is renting a car for an upcoming trip during the All Saints' holiday.
Nowadays, all rental cars come with GPS, but do you know if you can use it without paying for the GPS rental? I have no idea since I always use my own!
After our first trip as a young couple to the West in 2007 (yes, that doesn’t make us any younger!), we’re planning to go back in 2028, but this time as a family of four! (We have two boys who’ll be 5½ and 13 years old in the summer of 2028.)
Our plan is to combine a few big cities (SF and LA, maybe San Diego) with national parks and state parks, mostly!
Ideally, we’d like to leave at the end of June and head back to France around July 19–20, so we can enjoy the first week of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Since we already did the "loop" in 2007, there are must-see places we absolutely want to revisit—and especially share with our kids: Bryce Canyon, Yosemite, and above all, the Grand Canyon, which is still the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen on Earth!
On the other hand, some places didn’t leave a big impression on us for various reasons, so we’re not making them a priority: Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, for example.
We’re planning ahead, but might as well be smart about it😏

We went as a family to Mount Rushmore in 2023, where my son bought a multi-function pocket knife like the one below with his name engraved—'NOAH'.
Unfortunately, he just lost it, and he was really attached to it. So, if there’s a kind soul passing by Mount Rushmore who could bring one back for me (I’d obviously cover all costs), that would be amazing for my son.

Hello everyone! Really damaged due to flooding caused by runoff after forest fires (a total mess!), does anyone in this friendly forum have any updates on the Apache Trail between Apache Junction and Roosevelt Dam? Is there still a section of the road that’s tough to navigate?
We're leaving at the end of June and will be driving the route between Buffalo and Cody. We’ve already booked our accommodations and a rodeo in Cody, but during the day, we’ll be driving between the two and I’m unsure about the itinerary.
Which route do you think is the most pleasant, interesting, or scenic between:
- The northern route via Highway 14 with Sheridan, Lowell, etc.
- The southern route with Highways 16/20/14, passing by Loaf Mountain Overlook, Powder River Pass, Ten Sleep Canyon...
We’ll be in a car, so we should be able to drive on any road.

I’m almost done planning our September road trip. After our 3-night visit to Sequoia, we’ll have a stopover night in Coalinga (to break up the drive). We’ll be staying two nights in Monterey and would like to stop along the way to visit one side of Pinnacles National Park. We’re torn between the West entrance and the East entrance, and we’d like to do a short hike of no more than 2 hours since we don’t want to arrive too late in Monterey.
This park is split into two distinct zones with no connection between them, and the mileage from Coalinga to Monterey is pretty much the same for both. Which area do you recommend visiting—east or west? And which route is the most scenic?
I’ve spotted two short hikes:
- East: Moses Spring to Rim Trail Loop
- West: Balconies Cliffs Cave Loop
Has anyone been there, or do you have another hike to suggest?

Just a quick question about King Canyon and Sequoia National Park.
Before our night in Miramonte, we plan to visit King Canyon. The next stop will be two nights in Three Rivers to explore Sequoia National Park. I wanted to go all the way to Roaring River Falls on the King Canyon Scenic Byway and then turn back to head to Miramonte. Since we’re coming from Oakhurst, Google Maps says it’s 300 km and 5 hours of driving. Since we also want to hike to see the sequoias (Big Stump Area and Grand Grove) before tackling the King Canyon Scenic Byway, the timing’s going to be tight. How far do you recommend going before turning back to miss as few points of interest as possible on the King Canyon Scenic Byway? Thanks for your advice, and have a great evening!

After years of hoping, waiting, planning, then changing, saving, and searching for the best possible route... we're FINALLY off this summer for a 5-week road trip in the West.
I had planned a trip to Colorado in 2021 but canceled due to COVID, so with time passing and my eldest’s high school graduation approaching fast, I figured it was now or never!

We’ll be alternating between house swaps, motels, and campgrounds. I’ve booked all the accommodations (except the campground at Bryce since sunset bookings open only 14 days in advance) and the first activities, as well as the most touristy ones.
I’m currently putting together my day-by-day roadbook and having some trouble planning certain days, like in LA or Las Vegas. Choosing hikes isn’t easy either—it’s tough to decide!

I’d like to travel along I-15N from San Diego to Las Vegas with my mom, who’s 67. We’ve explored Northern California and the California Coast over the past two years and now want to continue through the desert.
There are several attractions along the way:
- Mormon Rocks
- Desert Discovery Center and visit the Old Woman meteorite
- Joshua Tree National Park
- Mojave Desert
- Mojave National Preserve
- Anza-Borrego Desert State Park
- Silverwood Lake
My mom has back issues that prevent her from hiking or walking on trails with elevation changes. Is it possible to visit these places by car, or are the routes flat enough?
I’d love for her to experience the desert with an itinerary adapted to her condition. I’m also open to other points of interest that aren’t mentioned. We have 3-4 days for the trip, so we’re not in a rush—just want to explore.
I’d love to take a road trip and visit Nova Scotia. I’d appreciate some info on the best cities to see and the most interesting spots. The trip should last about 10 to 15 days, staying in hotels or motels. Thanks in advance!

My 16-year-old son is flying to Grand Rapids with other kids his age. There’s a layover in Detroit. There’s no unaccompanied minor service available. Is it pretty easy to navigate Detroit Airport to catch the connecting flight to Grand Rapids (domestic flight)? There are several of them who speak English well.

We’d like to walk to Eagle Falls and then Eagle Lake. I’ve spotted two parking lots that seem close to each other and give access to the trailhead. Where and how do we pay for entry to Emerald Bay State Park and Inspiration Point?
**Viewpoints on the East Side:**
Are most of the viewpoints (Balancing Rock, Granite Cave, Bonsai Rock, etc.) right by the road, or do you have to hike to reach them?
**Donner Memorial State Park:**
Is it worth making a detour to Truckee to visit this park and the Truckee historic downtown?

I'm shocked by the price of the Upper Antelope Canyon tour—$175 for less than an hour… You might say, "if you can’t afford it…" But the real question is whether it’s really worth it, because $350 for two makes me feel like I’m getting ripped off. I’ve read there are trails to access the trailheads for Cinder Cone (11 km) and Warner Valley. Are these easy trails for an SUV?
Are there any other must-see spots or things we shouldn’t miss?

I’m a total USA addict. I’ve already done several road trips, including the East Coast and West Coast.
I’m here today because I’m planning to go back for another road trip on the West Coast. Possibly with one of my sisters and a couple of friends. It’s still just a plan for now, but I’m working on an itinerary in the meantime. Ideally, I’d leave in 2026, but I don’t have the exact dates yet—maybe April-May or September-October.
My last trip to the West Coast was in September 2014. We went for 2 weeks, but this time it’d be 3 weeks. What made me want to go back was simply a colleague who just left today. As I’m writing this, he’s on the plane. I’m so happy for him, but now all I can think about is going back.
Since I recently went to NY, I noticed that prices have really gone up. I assume the same is true for the West Coast? For 2 people over 3 weeks, what budget should I expect? We’re the type to watch our spending and find great tips.
I think we’ll arrive in San Francisco like the first time and leave from either Los Angeles or Las Vegas.

Travelers to the United States | Photo Now Mandatory Upon Entry and Exit | La Presse
I assume many of you already know, but the America the Beautiful annual pass, which was $80, will increase to $250 starting January 1, 2026.
So if you're planning to travel before the end of December 2026, it's in your best interest to buy your pass in December 2025, since it will still cost $80 and be valid until the end of December 2026 if you purchase it in December 2025.
This price increase only applies to non-U.S. residents.
Additionally, for those who planned to visit just one park, a $100 surcharge per person will apply to access a list of 11 national parks...
For example, if there are 4 of you in a car, you’ll have to pay $35 + $400,
which comes to $435 to visit one of the 11 parks on the list (I don’t have all of them... Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, etc.).
Total madness.
The goal is to push people who only visit one park into buying the annual pass.
Last point: free entry days are over for non-residents!
