je m'apprête à faire mon premier voyage dans 2 jours et par manque d'habitude j'ai quelques questions :
Je vais à Shenzhen (via aéroport de Hong-Kong) et ai une escale de 3h à Dubaï. Ai-je le droit d'emporter mes médicaments avec mes ordonnance même si ceux-ci sont interdits sur le territoire ?
Je me pose la question principalement pour Dubaï car sur leur site il est inscrit:
" Quiconque est en possession de médicaments contenant, par exemple, de la codéine ou toute autre substance narcotique, qu'ils leur aient été prescrits ou qu'ils aient été achetés sans ordonnance, est susceptible d'être arrêté et poursuivi. ".
A Dunai, si tu es juste en zone transit , il n'y aura aucun controle.
En Chine (comme dans presque tous les pays), ils ne controleront pas tes medicaments personnels et ne te feront aucune difficulte, sauf peut-etre si tu en emportes un enorme stock.

Je m'incruste car moi aussi je me pose des questions pour ma codéine et tramadol pour certaines destinations (Géorgie, Japon...) donc je lis un peu dessus, et je peux dire qu'il n'y a rien d'équivalent qui soit vraiment efficace... Pour moi ça peut être un frein pour voyager un certain temps...

En plus de 30 ans de voyage mes medicaments n'ont jamais ete verifies dans aucun pays, ceci dit je ne connais pas Dubai.
C'est effectivement rare .. mais pas impossible pour ma part j'ai eu une vérif a Paris et pour la petite histoire le mm médoc dans le mm bagage a main était passé quelques heures avant au départ de Nantes sans le moindre contrôle/commentaire !
Et une autre fois une vérif rapide a Montreal ou on a ouvert ma pochette médicament "pour voir" ce qu'il y avait dedans sans plus
Donc attention aux conseils du genre "jamais vérifié" mm si il ne faut pas aller dans l'autre sens et être parano !
Pour Dubai je répète (passage récent en fev.) TOUS les bagages cabine sont scannés en cas de transit et certains ouverts ! alors aléatoire ou selon ce qui a été vu ???

Ça je sais, et je me fous de ce qu'ils pensent, je sais que pour moi rien d'autre ne marche et que ce n'est pas une drogue car lorsque je n'ai pas mal je peux m'en passer pendant des semaines et que même si j'ai mal j'en prends pas plus de deux par jour et qu'il m'en faut pas de plus en plus pour le même effet.
Et à la rigueur si certains se shootent avec je trouve ça moins grave qu'avec de la coke par ex...
Tu crois que si un médecin te donne de la codéine ou du tramadol il n'a rien essayé d'autre avant ? Il faut pleurer pour les avoir ces médocs, bien montrer qu'on est à l'agonie et que rien ne fonctionne, si on en prend c'est donc que seul cela soulage !
Au Japon ils ont peut-être une autre approche de la douleur, d'ailleurs en France beaucoup de médecins se fichent que tu sois tordue de douleur, il faut insister, et bien là-bas c'est peut-être pire, je ne sais pas...
J'imagine que le lamaline est interdit aussi vu que c'est à base d'opium ?
Et bien tu vois pour mes énormes maux de tête il n'y a que ça qui fonctionne bien...

C'est mm dans ce cadre la que j'ai eu un contrôle a Paris un médoc "dématerialisé" de sa boite !
Si tu n'as pas les boites garde au moins les "notices papiers" en plus ça pourra te servir en cas d'obligation d'achat sur place car les noms commerciaux sont pas tjrs connus, ceux des molécules oui !
Le pbl est que de nbx pays s'en foutent si tu n'as que ceux de ta conso personnelle mais d'autres ce n'est pas la mm chose ! lorsque je suis parti en Indonésie j'ai zappé un médoc sur liste interdite (antidouleurs avec opiacé délivré sur prescription medicale)

De mon côté tout est passé sans soucis...Il faut dire que j'avais été très raisonnable sur la quantité, une 1/2 plaquette de chaque, le reste en soute. Cela joue peut-être pour le contrôle, si ils en voient beaucoup ils ont certainement plus envie de contrôler...
Quoi qu'il en soit les contrôles sont aléatoires donc restez prudent et ne prenez pas de risque inutiles...

tu connais maintenant ma peur récurrente de l avion et c 'est pas un scoop😉et je tombe sur ce fil de discussion et je n avais pas pensé à ces histoires de médicaments ; je prend avant chaque départ en avion du stinox et autre de la meme catégorie donc si j ai bien compris je dois oublier en bagage à mains; mais qu en est il si ces memes médicaments se trouvent dans mes bagages soute ? seront ils tout aussi controles ??? pas envie de me retrouver en tôle tu vois 🙁

Tu ne dis pas ou tu vas mais si c'est un pays qui interdit tous médocs inscrit sur une liste des drogues / stupéfiants ( comme évoqué pour l'Indonesie) évite d'en prendre ou que ce soit et vois ton médecin pour un remplacement par un autre médoc non inscrit sur ces listes (médecins et mm pharmaciens connaissent lesquels)

Il y a 10000 mauvaises choses qui peuvent arriver en voyage (et chez soi aussi). Moi je ne me tracasserais pas pour celles qui n'ont quasiment aucune chance d'arriver.
oui je vais à dubai et j ai pu lire une liste impressionnante de médocs interdits aux EAU
alors je prendrai mes médicaments avant de monter en avion et le reste je le laisse ici à la maison je demanderai un substitut à mon medecin le Lexomil n est pas contre indiqué et j emmenerai mon ordonnance voilà que puis -je faire d autre ? 😕
mes "beaux parents" qui sont rentrés de Dubai hier soir en A380 aussi sur émirates vont avoir pleins de choses à me raconter demain , ils avaient leur médicaments sur eux mais pas de fouille particuliere m ont ils déjà dit par téléphone tout à l heure !
ils n ont vu personne fumer dehors à Dubai et si on jette un mégot par terre c 'est passible d une amende de 150e !!! alors c sur ! ça dissuade !
mais bon pas cool quand meme aussi quand on sait à présent qu on ne doit pas vapoter non plus!

Il ne me semble pas, la liste est ici: http://www.uaeinteract.com/travel/drug.asp et je n'y vois pas le Prednisolone (Solupred) mais à vérifier.
Prend tout de même ton ordonnance même pour un traitement autorisé, ça ne pèse rien et si ça peut te faire gagner du temps à un controle c'est mieux 😉
Bon voyage à Dubaï, tu vas voir les gens y sont très ouvert d'esprit et toujours prêt à rendre service (contrairement à l'image qu'en fait Madisson)
😉Les médicaments prescrits sur ordonnance, et emporté avec le respect des doses pour la durée du voyage ne sont pas "interdits".
Juste qu'il vaut mieux les mettre en soute. Et faire traduire l'ordonnance dans la langue du pays.
Personnellement j'emporte mes médoc, et je n'ai jamais été contrôlée de ce point de vue.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
Preventive vaccination (of the animals) is being considered.

Once symptoms appear—sometimes weeks or even months later—death is inevitable.
It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
