Hiking in the Alps summer 2025
Hi there, I’m looking for travel companions around my age (between 18 and 25) to go hiking in the Alps at the end of July 2025. I’d like to go for 3 to 5 days. It’s my first time doing a multi-day hike, so even though I’m sporty and motivated, I’d prefer something not too tough. If you have any hiking suggestions or want to join me, I’m in! !

Hiking trip to Réunion February-March 2025
Hi there, I’m heading back to Réunion 13 years after my first trip to this gorgeous island, from 02/25 to 03/12 because airfare prices are great for those dates with Air Austral—557.65 € with a checked bag and 100 € less without. Departing from Paris CDG on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM and returning to Paris on Tuesday, March 12, 2025, at 5:30 AM. I know it’s not the ideal time to visit Réunion, but I’ve been there during the same season before and it went well. There are fewer tourists, the landscapes are even more stunning, and the only risk is a cyclone keeping us indoors for a few days. Otherwise, there’s always a spot on the island with sunshine, and rain usually arrives in the afternoon... I’m looking for people who, like me, love hiking and (re)discovering a region to join me!

We’ll rent a car and hike across different parts of the island most days, plus some sightseeing and a bit of swimming in natural pools or at the beach. The detailed itinerary isn’t set yet, and I’m open to suggestions—though we’ll mostly go with the weather. I’m planning several accommodations to explore more easily and cut down on driving... Estimated costs: Train to Paris and RER: 100 € per person Flights: 558 € per person (or less if we share a checked bag for two) Car rental: 520 € + 100 € for gas, split among participants Accommodation: 500 € per person Food/restaurants: 450 € per person Total: 1,610 € plus 310 € for the car if there are 2 of us, or 210 € if there are 3... See you soon

Hiking Trip in the Queyras from August 19th to 26th
I'm heading out with friends for a week in the Queyras to hike in this beautiful region, staying at accommodation in Molines-en-Queyras near Saint-Véran, from Wednesday the 19th to Wednesday the 26th of August.

It's accommodation where we can really relax, have breakfast, prepare picnics, and go on day hikes. Some of the Queyras' most famous hikes are less than an hour's drive away. In the evenings, we'll either eat out or cook at the apartment! Right now, there are 8 of us, and since there are 11 beds, 3 more people can still join the group. If you have any questions, don't hesitate! Approximate budget if we're 10 people: 175 € for accommodation + 150 € for restaurants + 55 € for miscellaneous (including shuttles or paid parking) – so a week of hiking at a reasonable price! Indicative hiking program:

After the hikes and depending on the time, we can explore the region a bit... Wednesday 2 PM: Cascade de l'Oule from Le Laus – 7.9 km and 710 m elevation gain Thursday: Sommet Bucher and Col des Prés Fromage – 11.9 to 15.5 km and 700 to 830 m elevation gain, depending on how we're feeling and the weather Friday: Tour de la Tête des Toillies – 14.5 km and 1,015 m elevation gain Saturday: Col Agnel and Lacs d'Asti, Foreant, and Égorgeou – 17.1 km and 980 m elevation gain Sunday: Lacs du Malrif – 12 km and 960 m elevation gain Monday: Col de Neal and Col du Lauzon – 16 km and 950 m elevation gain Tuesday: Lac de Lestio – 17.7 km and 870 m elevation gain

Wednesday: Lac de Roue – 4.5 km and 175 m elevation gain for the return trip

Looking for hiking buddies from Aug 25 to Sep 13, here or there or elsewhere
Hi there, On holiday from August 25 to September 13, I’m looking for hiking buddies to explore trails through the greenery, discover viewpoints, and enjoy panoramas. A base location with day hikes radiating out, or a relaxed multi-day trek for one, two, or three days. Visit heritage sites, canoe, mountain bike, swim, sightsee, take in viewpoints, local history, music, culture, arts—all chill 🙂 All your suggestions, ideas, projects, places, and destinations are welcome. In France, in Lanzarote, in Sicily, the Dolomites, in Crete… or elsewhere. Let’s meet up for coffee in Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, or Meaux to get to know each other and chat (dates, locations, transport, budget, routes, visits, stages, duration, semi-autonomy/day trips, accommodation…). And co-create together for a fun summer holiday. A “basic fitness level” required. Energy, culture, sharing, respect, curiosity to discover the world. Chill vibes. I play badminton and enjoy hiking. I love art, old stones, music, and upcycling. Looking forward to meeting up here, there, or somewhere else. 😛 I’m 53, from Meaux (77).

looking for hiking & discovery buddies 24.08 - 14.09
Hi there,

Here comes the time for well-deserved holidays. Breathing in the fresh air, swimming, hiking... and enjoying an apéro 😎

I’m looking for travel buddies to co-create a getaway around Lake Annecy.

The idea is to explore with day hikes (no pressure, no performance vibes) and discover stunning views, local history... Try canoeing, mountain biking; check out street art performances, music festivals, art exhibitions—anything that makes for a good time.

I’m also open to other suggestions: the Pyrenees, Crete, Sardinia, Lanzarote, or anywhere else here or there 🙂

Holidays in a zen, laid-back spirit—no stress, no grumpiness, no ambiguity.

Energy. Culture. Sharing. Respect. Curiosity to discover the world. Chill vibes.

If you’ve got ideas for trips mixing cultural walks, heritage, music, arts, hiking, etc. (in France or abroad), hit me up to chat. Dates, locations, activities... we’ll figure it out together.

We can discuss via messaging and/or over coffee/ice cream in Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, or Meaux.

Marc,

Naturism and Hiking Holiday 08/23 - 09/13
Hello! With the summer sun, what could be better than a holiday combining naturism, cool sports activities, culture, music, heritage, hiking, and an apéro 😉 I’m on holiday from August 23rd to September 13th and I’m looking for naturists—or non-naturists—to join me in naturist resorts to experience daily nudity, between relaxation, swimming, activities, and discoveries. Duration, locations, visits, and activities… all to be decided together to co-create this holiday project. The mindset is clear: energy, culture, sharing, respect, and curiosity about the world. Chill vibes.

The word *naturism* is to be taken in its original sense. This is a FRIENDLY endeavor: any notions of exhibitionism, voyeurism, swinging, or disrespect (for dunes, people) are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Link to the French Naturist Federation: https://ffn-naturisme.com/ We can discuss this via messaging and/or over a coffee/ice cream in Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, or Meaux. Naturally, Marc, 🙂 (already 54 years old! *sigh*. From Seine-et-Marne)

Travel Companions in Chile for Hiking-Trekking-Ski Mountaineering
Hi! I’m Romane and I’m passionate about mountain sports! !😎

I’ll be in Chile from March to the end of August and I’m looking for travel companions, especially to hit the mountains—whether it’s hiking, trekking, fast-hiking, ski mountaineering, or even mountain biking. I’d love to explore Chilean and Argentine Patagonia, the Carretera Austral, the Lake District to climb all the volcanoes, the Santiago area around Cajón del Maipo, and why not Peru or Bolivia—I’ve got tons of plans! 😛

Here’s what I’ve got with me: - A pretty solid hardtail MTB - Ski touring gear—crampons, ice axes, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe - Bivouac/camping gear - Trail and hiking equipment

If you’re up for exploring a part of the country with me, let me know! I’m open to any way of traveling: road trips, bikepacking, hitchhiking, buses, etc.

PS: I’m usually in decent shape, so unless you’re Kilian Jornet, we should be able to tackle some awesome outings together! 😛

Solo mom (kids 9 and 6) looking for same-profile partner for Mafate hike early July 25
Hi there,

It’s all in the title!

I’m Diane, 38, and I’m traveling to Réunion with my two kids from June 28 to July 13, 2025. I’m ideally looking for another solo mom or dad with kids to join us for some hikes on the island, especially a 2-3 day trip to explore the Mafate cirque.

The goal is to make these outings safer—you never know when a mishap or injury might happen, and it can get pretty serious when you’re the only adult.

I do a lot of hiking and some mountaineering, and my kids are good walkers.

If you’re traveling during the same period and hesitant to book certain hikes because you’re worried about being alone, feel free to reach out!

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Diane.

I live in La Rochelle and I’m 73 (just finished a month and a half of hiking in the Alps and Pyrenees). First contact by email, thanks.

Japan: Shikoku pilgrimage spring 2026
hi everyone, I’d like to do the Shikoku pilgrimage in spring 2026—the full circuit (88 temples) with a mix of walking and buses. Buses for the long, straight stretches on busy roads. You’ll need to be able to carry your own bag, so pack light like for a multi-day hike, and have some experience with long-distance walking. Who’s in? A small group of 3 or 4 would be perfect. If there are takers, we’ve got 6 months ahead of us to organize and fine-tune the trip. I’m 73 and used to traveling—I’m not a travel agency, so if you’re interested, at least get the basic info on the route and other useful details first… A trip like this is a group effort. Have a great day, everyone! 😉

Philippines - Indonesia - Sumatra - Moluccas Islands Trip December 2024
Hi there! Looking to head off by the end of this year, no later than between December 10th and 15th, for the Philippines. Any recommendations for regions like the Batanes Islands and Mindanao, away from mass tourism and off the beaten path?

Plan: Beaches, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and visiting the most interesting sites depending on each person’s preferences (I’m not really into old stones but more about nature, jungle, flora, and fauna).

When? Between December 10th and 15th, but no later than December 15th–17th.

Where? Northern Philippines, starting with a few days of beach and relaxation to recharge after the bad weather and winter in France. Then, off to trek in northern Luzon with its stunning rice terraces, followed by the Batanes Islands, which are the epitome of off-the-beaten-path destinations. After that, we’d head down to the Balicas Islands, where you can swim with turtles and where tourism is minimal due to very limited hotel infrastructure (accommodation is in tents by the sea). Next up: the island of Mindanao.

Depending on time and everyone’s interests, we could continue to Sumatra and then the Moluccas Islands, which, unlike the rest of Indonesia, are much less affected by the monsoon.

With whom?

Someone who’s already traveled and hiked beyond just their imagination and dreams . Independent and resourceful (I’m looking for a travel partner, not a tourist to guide). Good-humored and adaptable. Loving adventure and eager to explore off the beaten path.

I’ve traveled a lot and I’m a fan of the unexpected (go where the wind takes you).

If you see yourself in these few lines, it would be a great pleasure to share this new adventure with you for a few days or weeks.... This is just a rough plan I’m proposing, and it can be adjusted based on everyone’s preferences.

Travel companions for an adventure in the Lot region
Hello everyone!

I’m heading off to explore the Lot region in a week. Starting in Figeac, then making my way up to the northern part of the department before heading back down toward Cahors, and finally setting off toward Villefranche-de-Rouergue...

I’ll be there for a good week, sleeping on the mattress in the back of my van. My priority is quiet, natural, and peaceful spots. I’m self-sufficient with a camping stove, food and drinks, and a backpack for hiking and visiting small villages and nature trails...

If any of you are available and up for sharing a moment together—a meal, a beer, a hike, a visit, etc.—and you’re from the area or want to show me a stunning spot in the Lot that I might not know about, I’m in!

For those who don’t know me, I’m a 41-year-old guy, pretty sporty and passionate about nature and adventure!

Don’t hesitate to reach out privately! Looking forward to great encounters... 🚐🥾

Meet-Up or Sharing in Georgia in May 2026
Hi there! I’ll be in Georgia from May 9th to the 30th. If you’re also in this beautiful country so close to Europe during that time, feel free to drop me a private message...

Maybe we can share a moment together—a meal, a drink, or even part of a journey, a trip, a visit, or a hike.

I travel at a relaxed pace without too much planning, independently. I prefer family-run guesthouses, small hotels, or homestays when possible. I usually use public transport, but I can also rent a vehicle if needed.

I’m open to changing my plans based on who I meet.

Hope to see you soon maybe! 😊🤗😍

From Notre Dame in Paris to Mont Saint-Michel on Foot – May 2026

I’m a 67-year-old retiree with experience in long-distance hiking. The pace is moderate and manageable for any regular hiker.

Feel free to ask any questions if you’re interested—I’m happy to share more details.

Hikes from September 15 to 26, 2025
Hi there, I’m looking for 1 or 2 people who’d like to hike in two regions of Quebec: the Laurentians and Gaspésie/Charlevoix/Saguenay. I’ve got my flight tickets. I’m coming from France. We can split the two periods into shorter weeks, like Monday to Friday, if you’re only available for part of my stay. A quick intro about me: I hike often throughout the year, I’m part of the CAF (French Alpine Club), which organizes hikes of all difficulty levels, with respect for nature and safety rules. I travel with trekking organizations. I’m pretty open-minded, enthusiastic, and I love sharing trails and experiences. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thanks.
