Hi there,
My summer trip between France and Montenegro is pretty much set.
Now I just need to plan the return route from Mostar.
On the way there, I took the Mont Blanc Tunnel, drove through Italy to Trieste, a small part of Slovenia, and then the Croatian coast.
For the return trip, I’d like to mix things up and avoid the Croatian coast.
So far, I’m thinking of stopping in Rastoke, Croatia, and then Milan, Italy.
Any other suggestions?

Hello,
I’m planning to spend a few days in Ardèche and I’d like to know if we should choose just one base or more to visit the region. Looking at the department map and the main sites to see, I’d personally go for 2 bases to avoid too much driving. So, if anyone who knows this beautiful region well could give me some advice on this, I’d really appreciate it in advance!

Hi there,
We’d like to spend 2 days in Lyon in May with our 8- and 12-year-old kids, exploring the city on foot.
We’ll arrive on day 1 around 11 AM and leave on day 2 around 6 PM.
I’ve mapped out two routes and was wondering if they’re doable in our 2 days, and if you have any tips or info on visit prices.
We’re not sure where to stay yet, but we’d like to optimize by booking accommodation (hotel or Airbnb) between the two routes, maybe?
Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone,
I usually travel abroad in the summer, but given the circumstances, I think this year I’ll be staying in France. I’d love to know which places you’d recommend for the most stunning mountain landscapes and the best hikes.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello!
With the summer sun, what could be better than a holiday combining naturism, cool sports activities, culture, music, heritage, hiking, and an apéro 😉
I’m on holiday from August 23rd to September 13th and I’m looking for naturists—or non-naturists—to join me in naturist resorts to experience daily nudity, between relaxation, swimming, activities, and discoveries.
Duration, locations, visits, and activities… all to be decided together to co-create this holiday project.
The mindset is clear: energy, culture, sharing, respect, and curiosity about the world. Chill vibes.
The word *naturism* is to be taken in its original sense. This is a FRIENDLY endeavor: any notions of exhibitionism, voyeurism, swinging, or disrespect (for dunes, people) are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Link to the French Naturist Federation: https://ffn-naturisme.com/ We can discuss this via messaging and/or over a coffee/ice cream in Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, or Meaux. Naturally, Marc, 🙂 (already 54 years old! *sigh*. From Seine-et-Marne)

Another long-time dream of Claudio’s: the Petit Mont Cenis pass and the dam at the eponymous lake.
A place where many Italians, including my father, worked in the 1950s–60s.
Faverges → St-Michel-de-Maurienne → Lanslebourg → Petit Mont Cenis → return. 315 km, 3 days. Bivouac at St-Michel-de-M.

Leg One: Faverges → St-Michel-de-Maurienne Leg Two: St-Michel → Lanslebourg → Mont Cenis Lake → St-Michel Leg Three: St-Michel → Faverges
And it finally happened in August 2026: in the Maurienne Valley about the famous cycle route known as the V67

hi,
I'm planning a recumbent bike trip from the Pyrenees to Greece. On the EuroVelo 8 route, it doesn't specify the path through the Alps.
Are there any experienced cyclists here who can tell me where they go to avoid climbing too high?
Also, is there another traveler/bike forum better suited for broadening the responses?
thanks
Hi there
I’m traveling from Geneva to Marseille in May and only have 18 minutes to change trains in Lyon. Do you think that’s doable?
Thanks and have a great day

Hi there,
We’d like to take our bikes to Sicily in early April for Easter, then cycle back home via Puglia to the Lyon area.
Has anyone got any tips?
1: How to get there? Train or ferry?
2: Camping or other options in big cities? Is it true that campsites are really expensive?
3: Recommended route
We’re open to all suggestions.
Thanks, and happy holidays!
