I'm considering a cruise from Saigon to Siem Reap in Cambodia on the boat *La Marguerite* with Rivages du Monde. I'd love to hear from travelers who've done this cruise. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
I’d love to go on a Mediterranean cruise, but I’m a bit nervous about doing it solo.
Thanks for your advice!
Hello, we’re taking the Celestyal Journey in August. We’re used to cruises, but we don’t know this company or this ship. I know it’s not very big, but that fits our expectations better these days. If anyone has already been on this ship, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for your feedback!
Good evening,
After my first trip to the Land of the Rising Sun with a very classic itinerary (Osaka / Tokyo) in April 2024, I’m revisiting my original idea: a cruise that would let me explore other parts of the country. The options are pretty limited since I’m restricted to school holidays. After some quick research on cruise sales sites, it seems Princess Cruises might be the best fit (dates + itinerary). I’ve only sailed with Costa before, so I have a few questions before deciding whether to go ahead with this idea: - Is Princess really upscale? Is there a dress code? - My English is pretty basic—will that be an issue? - For a cruise in Asia, what kind of food is served on board: the same as on other cruises worldwide, or specifically Asian? - What’s the average age of passengers? - Any other specifics I should know?
Thanks so much for your answers.

Hi everyone,
I’m heading off in May with Costa on the Deliziosa and I’ve got a quick question.
Are the excursions cheaper if I book in advance on the website (since I’ve never done it before), or are they the same price if I get them on the ship?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hi everyone!
So happy to be back on this forum—it’s helped me so much before, and I’m thrilled it’s open again! 🙂
I’m currently planning a new cruise for early December and I’d love to know if you can recommend any French-speaking guide taxis in Genoa, Naples, Palermo, Tunis, and Barcelona. A friend joining us has some difficulty walking (but isn’t in a wheelchair), and do you happen to know their rates for about 6 hours?
Thanks in advance for your tips!
Hi, I’m traveling on the Symphony of the Seas in February 2026 and I’ve purchased the refreshment package.
I’d like to know if we want an alcoholic cocktail, will we pay the difference or the full price of the drink?
Thanks for your replies.

hi,
I’m going on a cruise on the Costa TOSCANA in October, and I’ll be celebrating my birthday there.
I wanted to make it special and try ARCHIPELAGO for the first time.
And also go back to Teppanyaki (I really like their menu and the atmosphere).
I see there’s a package for 3 culinary experiences at 88 €.
According to the description, you can go to the specialty restaurants 3 times.
That price seems really low to me, since Archipelago alone costs around 55 €... and with this package, you could go 3 times?
Plus, there’s another package next to it: 1 Archipelago and 1 Teppanyaki (without specifying the menu) for 80 €.
Has anyone already tried the 3-experience package?
What did you think?
Thanks for your feedback
Hi,
For my upcoming trip to Madagascar in November, I’d like to take a cruise on the Pangalanes Canal.
We’ve been offered a 3-day, 2-night trip between Mananjary and Mahanoro.
Has anyone done this? Are there too many hours on the boat?
Is it worth it?
They’re offering either a bivouac or a hotel—what do you think?
Thanks for your feedback.
Hi there, we're leaving on January 30th for a Caribbean cruise—there are four couples in our group—and we'd like to organize our own stopovers.
Do you have any great tips for visiting each island, with a preference for landscapes over beaches? Which island has buses to get around, or options for 4x4s/taxis? We're open to all your ideas!

Hello!
We’d like to know if we’ll have time to visit a few villages by taking a small boat from La Spezia, given that our cruise ship arrives at 9 AM and leaves again at 5 PM in the afternoon.
Thanks for your replies!
Hello
We’re taking an MSC cruise in May, and after the Cinque Terre, we’ll be stopping in Naples. We’d like to know if it’s possible to walk out of the port quickly and reach a nice area of Naples on foot (we’re two older people). While we’re at it, I’ll ask the same question for Palermo, since we’ll be there the next day. Thanks for your replies.

The destination is Le Havre....
Are there any members?
Over ten years ago, we took a cruise on the Costa ROMANTICA. Since then, we’ve never had the pleasure of finding another company for a cruise in the Indian Ocean with stops in Réunion, Mauritius, the Seychelles, and Madagascar. I recently discovered on this site that the German company AIDA offers the exact same cruise in December! But we don’t speak German and don’t know this company at all.
Thanks if you can give us any insights about the ship *Stella* and the quality of their services
Hi everyone (and yes, ladies first 😎)
I was wondering, besides MSC and Costa, which cruise lines are your favorites? Which ones would you like to try?
For my part, I’ve tried Virgin… and how can I put it… it was one of the best cruises of my life! There are a lot of preconceptions about the company that honestly aren’t entirely justified (even if I’ll admit I’m their target audience!).
Anyway, if you’re interested, I’ll give you a little rundown 🙂

Hi everyone,
I really enjoy traveling by boat, and I usually book directly with the cruise line.
At the same time, I get a lot of ads for Croisières.fr, which, as a middleman, offers me the same cruises as the cruise lines themselves. I’d love to know if any of you have booked through them before and if everything went smoothly?
Thanks!
Has anyone already done the 40-day cruise in Oceania with Holland America? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the ship and the destinations. Thanks
Hello, I'm looking for photos of a family cabin for 4 people with a porthole for the Pacifica cruise. Also, I wanted to know about the noise level and whether the ship moves a lot.
Hi there, I’d like to make the crossing between Barcelona and Civitavecchia with Grimaldi. I’d love to hear about your experiences. I’m also considering GNV for Genoa.
Looking forward to reading your replies. Sandy

Hello,
My husband and I are heading to French Polynesia on August 21st for a cruise on the ARANUI 5 to the Marquesas Islands. If anyone has taken this cruise recently or during the late August/early September period, I’d love to hear your impressions and any practical details. Thanks for your feedback! Elettra69

Hi there,
We usually travel as "backpackers," but this year we’re making an exception with a CFC cruise to Norway.
We’d like to explore the stops on our own so we can choose what we like at our own pace.
Do you have any experiences or great tips to share with us?
Our destinations: Stavanger, Bergen, Geiranger, Ålesund, Nordfjordeid, Flåm, Lyngdal
Thanks for your help

Hi, I'm looking into a cruise for May 2026. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the MSC Preziosa ship.
Thanks,
Diane
I’d love to get some tips for DIY excursions during our cruise. The scheduled stops are Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, Rome, and Savona.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I’m reaching out for your valuable advice before our Caribbean cruise on the Seascape (departing February 22, 2025, from Miami).
In Jamaica, we’re considering the excursion to the Green Grotto Caves. If anyone has done this excursion, what did you think, please? We also planned to take the “Tulum Mayan Ruins” excursion in Mexico and the “Island-to-Island Panoramic Tour, Hell and Starfish Point” in the Cayman Islands. Unfortunately, these two excursions are fully booked. What do you recommend? Can we visit on our own (not the Mayan ruins, as they’re too far and the risk of missing the ship is too high in my opinion)? Is it safe enough? Will these excursions be available on the ship (in case of cancellations, for example)? For your information, I’m traveling with my parents, who are 80 years old. Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions...

Hi everyone,
I'm really tempted by the idea of French-style cruises on smaller vessels, and I'm looking into CFC. I’d love to hear your experiences and feedback.
Thanks, and have a great day!
Hi there,
Looking for advice on how to get from the cruise stop at La Goulette to Sidi Bou Said on my own.
Cruise is planned for November.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there,
I’m about to book a cruise on Explora 2 in May 2026... (option)
I’ve never used this company before (did AZAMARA in 2024 and September 2025). The ship is more luxurious—really tempting, plus the amenities! Have any of you taken a cruise with them on one of their ships? Thanks for your feedback, good or bad... 😊😬
Hi everyone,
I’m going on a Costa cruise in May with a stop in Kotor.
Does anyone know if we’ll disembark by tender boats and if we can explore Kotor on our own?
Thanks for your replies!
Have a great evening
Hi everyone, I’m leaving in 10 days on the Costa Fortuna, and for the first time I’ll be staying in a suite. I’d love to hear your feedback if you’ve recently traveled in a suite on the Fortuna. Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
In June we’re taking a cruise called "Pearls of the Baltic" on board Renaissance CFC Cruises—with stops in Kiel (Germany), Gdańsk (Poland), Rønne (Bornholm), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Gothenburg (Sweden).
This layover in Gothenburg doesn’t really inspire me—could you tell me what’s worth seeing? Are there locals offering excursions around the area by van right when you leave the port, like you often see on Caribbean cruises?
I saw there’s a hop-on hop-off bus, but I’m not sure if there’s a stop near the terminal.
What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance! Best regards,
