You really made me laugh with "cruise or ferry" 😉 for a transatlantic trip, I’d rather think of a luxurious hotel and a great restaurant where you can really enjoy the ship. If Ponant manages to fill their ships, they won’t lower the prices. Oceania has really increased their cruise prices and reduced the perks—the Ultimate package is a thing of the past.

I’m not sure what to think about your conclusion: should I go or not? Sometimes there are transatlantic crossings without stops that aren’t too expensive, just to try Ponant 😉 mich74

Hi there, I can confirm Mum49’s info—Croisiland is a really good agency. Too bad they don’t sell Celebrity Cruise, though. For that one, I’ll go to another solid agency. Mich74

Hey Isabelle, You're right, the food really matters on a cruise 😉. Since I don’t know this company, I see it doesn’t look bad at all. The dessert photo looks amazing—they’re so pretty! I’ll let you know if there’s still lobster on my next Celebrity cruise 😉. Mich74

Hi there, Oceania’s service may be declining, but the prices sure aren’t! 😉 I saw it for myself last April on a transatlantic crossing—even long-time loyal customers noticed cuts everywhere. Such a shame, it used to be such a great cruise line. Mich74
