Any guides you’d recommend?

Tons of "agencies" (gowithguide, Hellechinaguide, etc.) offer guides. Can I reach out to them? I also speak English.

Hello World. I’m a retired globetrotter, and I’ve just returned from a wonderful trip: Beijing, Pingyao, Chengde, Xi’an—nothing but beauty, goodness, and happiness. This time, I’d like to "do" the South in October (autumn = beauty, or so I’ve heard): { Shanghai - Guilin - Yangshuo - Chengdu - Chongqing - Zhangjiajie - Shanghai } in about 18–20 days. This is just a rough draft—everything’s flexible. I usually travel solo, staying in 1- or 2-star hotels and eating at local restaurants. But I’m thinking, with one (or more) travel companion(s)—nice and open-minded—it might be even more enjoyable? Plus, it’d let us split the cost of any guides, share our thoughts and photos, and avoid silly mistakes. What do you think?

Hi there, I’m getting ready for a classic tourist trip to China in May 2026. The "Terres Lointaines" itinerary looks good to me, and the price is interesting. Has anyone traveled with them before? Any feedback? Is there a better option? Thanks so much for sharing your experiences on this! Michel

Bonjour les Français, Belge retraité, je pars habituellement en été avec ma camionnette sillonner les routes où le vent me mène. Je me sens attiré par la Dordogne (les Périgords) et peut-être plus bas, ... ou aux environs. Je m'arrête en campings, ou n'importe où. Il y a des copains chez qui je pourrais dire bonjour ? (je suis autonome, pas besoin d'hébergement, j'ai tout ce qu'il faut !) Pour causer "un peu" de voyages et de la région ? (pas encore de date fixée ... ) @+ miiki
