voila une amie est ou était au Panama. son ami la quittait et elle devait se rendre en colombie. seulemnt, nous n'avons plus de nouvelles depuis 10 jours!!!!

nous croyons qu'elle a pris le bateau je ne sais pas de ou et pour ou ! je ne crois pas qu'il y a beaucoup de possibilité d'itinéraire pour passer la frontière! panama /colombie!

y a t-il des arrêts possible entre les deux ou elle aurait pu décider de rester et qu'il n'y ai pas de communication possible?

Je suis actuellement au Panama et lenvie daller voir la Colombie me demange serieusement. Je compte aller aux SanBlas et jai entendu dire quil y a des bateaux qui partent de Colon pour Cartagene. Si quelqun a des infos sur le trajet ou sur la Colombie (A voir, a faire ou a eviter) ca maiderai beaucoup.

Bonjour, Nous sommes trois personnes (adultes entre 30-35 ans) qui désirent partir à la dernière minute la semaine du 16 janvier 2006. Nous hésitons entre varadero et Panama principalement à cause de la température. Pour cette période quelle destination serait préférable. On dit qu'à Cuba, il fait très froid à cette période? De plus, connaissez-vous un hotel tout-inclus où il y aurait beaucoup d'activités sur le site même de l'hotel (jour et soir). Merci.

dans le cadre de notre traversée des deux ameriques en camping car avec nos enfants, nous disposons d'un mois seulement du guatemala au panama. j'aimerais donc etre conseillé sur ce qu'il ne faut pas rater . sachant que nous venons de guyane francaise nous avons peur de trouver le costa rica peu depaysant.

En décembre on va être à Bocas del Toro et on compte se rendre au Costa rica pour quelques jours. Quels sont les meilleurs moyens pour s'y rendre (bateau, train, bus, auto) ??

Et de l'autre côte de la frontière (Costa Rica) qu'est ce qu'il y a voir ?

Franchement, j'hésite. J'ai eu un tel plaisir en Equateur où j'ai notamment croisé quelques mammifères rares dans leur milieu naturel que ... j'ai peur d'être déçue. L'Amazonie équatorienne a été un tel enchantement!

On pense aller avec mon ami en forêt guyanaise mais j'apprends que, comme ils chassent les animaux, ceux-ci se cachent bien. Pourtant, le côté sauvage me semble chouette. Alors, j'entends qu'au Panama, les animaux ne sont pas farouches, qu'on peut même les approcher. Mais je n'ai pas étudié la question des guides et excursions... Finalement, un photographe animalier me conseille d'aller au Costa Rica. Vraiment, je n'arrive pas à me décider et j'espère que vous pourrez m'y aider.

J'aimerais savoir (pour les gens qui savent de quoi ils parlent...) laquelle des destinations suivantes Roatan/Utila ou Bocas del Toro(côté plages paradisiaque/plongé/prix) est la meilleure. Si vous avez fréquenté tous ces endroits ou vous avez eu des commentaires de gens qui avaient fréquenté tous ces endroits alors n'hésitez pas à me dire vos commentaires. Ils seront grandement appréciés. Si vous avez n'importe qu'elle autre suggestion concernant le Honduras, le Nicaragua, le Costa-Rica ou le Panama ne vous gênez surtout pas!Merci à l'avance!

Planned arrival on Sunday evening, November 16, 2025, in San José. Staying 3 nights, then taking a bus to Tortuguero for 2 nights. Looking for a shared shuttle to La Fortuna for 2 nights, then a van-boat-van combo to Santa Elena for 2 or 3 nights. Heading to Quepos for 4 nights for day trips using local buses—Jaco, San Antonio, Uvita. After that, a full-day bus ride to Cahuita. I’m booking hotels as I go, which gives me the flexibility to stay longer in places I like. I’m looking for accommodations in city centers near restaurants and not too far from the bus station. We’re planning a trip to Central America and South America, but we’re still unsure about the destination. It’s for a trip in July 2025, so weather is definitely a factor. For Ecuador, the weather seems favorable, but my wife knows an Ecuadorian woman who told her that the security situation has really deteriorated, especially on the west side (beaches, etc.).

Has anyone traveled to Ecuador recently (in 2025) and could share their experience? (security situation, recommended itineraries)

In terms of things to see (typical villages, landscapes), weather, and prices, Ecuador seems more appealing to us than Costa Rica or Panama, which we’re also considering.

Total of 16 days on the ship with the advantage of one day at sea and one day in port, so time to rest in between. NORWEGIAN JOY: 1-Food not as good as on Costa and MSC (fewer dish choices or repetitive meals, no region-specific meals, meats are good but desserts are really not good at all, no real exotic fruits despite the regions you visit, and even the other fruits like melon and pineapple aren’t ripe). No need to dress up for evening meals: freestyle, so don’t bring too many evening outfits. 2-No fixed time or place for meals: queues every time in the restaurants, tables assigned based on your group size, so it’s hard to interact with other passengers. 3-Passengers mostly American: shows cater to their taste, fewer musical-style performances in the theater compared to Costa and MSC. 4-Excursions are very expensive and always in English. Americans still leave huge tips for the guides. ITINERARY: 1-Miami departure port (airport: 3-hour queue for passport control!) 2-2 days at sea, then Cartagena in Colombia: definitely don’t take the Pirates excursion (it’s terrible, even for kids—they make you run all over the city for their lame "show"!). You can even stay at the port where there’s a beautiful park called "Oasis" with lovely birds... and a café. Otherwise, while visiting the city, buy t-shirts ($10 USD—the best quality and markets of all the regions visited) or taste ripe exotic fruits you’ll never find on the ship ($3). 3-Colon/Panama: several interesting excursions to the locks (old and new). They use highways, so you don’t see much of the country. Crossing from the Atlantic to the Pacific via the canal and the lake: not much view of cities during the passage, just a few islands and greenery on the lake. 4-Puntarenas/Costa Rica: We took the coffee plantation tour, which lets you drive through villages and see more of the country. 5-Guatemala: Highly recommended excursion to Antigua: a very pretty old town with a human scale, lots of women trying to sell you all sorts of things but always with a smile and full of color. Enjoy bargaining—it’s a real connection with the locals. 6-Acapulco/Mexico: a big city that reminds you a bit of Rio/Brazil. Beaches right near the port if you want to swim, as well as little shops selling everything. The famous cliff divers: it’s crowded, so it’s hard to find a good spot to really see them jump. Lots of police and heavily armed military, so probably best not to take risks venturing alone into the poorer neighborhoods like favelas in the hills. 7-Vallarta/Mexico: a gem, a small and very pleasant seaside resort with a lovely promenade, lots of colors, statues, souvenirs, and cafés.... 8-Cabo San Lucas/Mexico: The ship stays at sea; you go ashore by small boats from the port. Lots of shops, restaurants, etc., right at the port if you don’t want to take an excursion. It’s quite chilly early in the morning on these small boats, so bring a jacket. 9-Los Angeles: disembarkation—another 3-hour queue for passport control. If you have a flight right after, be careful: either ask for disabled assistance on the ship (they have a fast exit) or hire paid porters who also get you out quickly.
