Bonjour! Nous sommes un jeune couple de 25 ans et nous programmons un voyage en Thailande et Malaisie fin septembre. Nous attéririons à Bangkok, puis descendrions la Thailande et la Malaisie jusque Singapoure pour y reprendre l'avion vers l'Australie où nous allons travailler. L'Asie nous tente depuis tellement longtemps! Apparemment, point de vue climat, c'est loin d'être la meilleure période. Est-ce pour autant dangereux d'aller là-bas fin septembre-début octobre ? Combien de temps pensez-vous qu'il faut compter pour faire cet itinéraire, sachant qu'on compte profiter du pays tout de même, ce serait trop bête. Pensez-vous qu'un mois est suffisant sans devoir se presser et passer tout notre temps dans les transports sans avoir l'occasion de voir du pays? D'ailleurs, qu'en est-il des transports en communs là-bas? Enfin, quel budget devons nous prévoir selon vous (logement (pour routard biensûr, rien de luxueux...), nourriture, transports, excursions, ...)??? Est-il possible de loger chez l'habitant? Tous vos conseils sont les bienvenus, ainsi que vos bons plans, bonnes adresses, etc... Nous les attendons avec impatience!

Après avoir de nombreuses fois parcouru ce forum, je me suis enfin inscrit...

Je vai partir pour 2 jours à Singapoure pour le boulot probablement d'ici la fin de l'été, et j'aimerais en profiter pour passer quelques jours en Malaisie.. Malheureusement j'ai tres peu de temps, environ 5 jours sur place. Je voulais des conseils et des suggestions, sur que voir en si peu de temps, et si il est facile de se déplacer à l'intérieur du pays. Et enfin, à quelle moment partir, je sais que l'été est pas la meilleure saison, mais en gros, ça devra se faire entre fin juillet et septembre...

On part avec la totale : lit BB, poussette, bouquins d'écoles des grands. bref, on va y aller doucement... Nos stop-avions sont Los angeles 5 jours - Tahiti 15 jours - Australie 3 semaines - Vietnam 6 semaines - Singapoure 4 jours

On essaye de booker l'australie mais on arrive pas à se décider. On arrive à Melbourne et on repart de Brisbane. on n'arrive pas a savoir si la route est belle et si ça vaut le coup de louer un camping-car sur melbourne-sydney ou sydney-brisbane; ou bien s'il faut mieux faire une semaine autour de melbourne avec backpackers et voiture, puis avion ou bus pour 1 semaine autour de sydney, puis avion ou bus pour 1 semaine autour de brisbane. es-ce-que quelqu'un a une idée? je m'arrache les cheveux à lire les guides; je voudrais du "Vécu" merci beaucoup

Etant donne que lundi prochain est ferie, je recherche une destination ou alentour de Hong Kong a l'exception de Macao, Guilin et Yangshuo.. J'ai pense a Tapei et Singapoure mais j'hesite encore. Quelqu'un a des idees pour un WE flash a proximite de Hong Kong ?

jarrive demain en malaysie je nai pas trop didee encore ou aller donc si vous avez des petit conseils... je penssais arriver a la frontiere entre singapoure et la malaisie puis prendre le causeway et apres me diriger sur la cote est et non la cote ouest.et faire qq iles pour la plonger je nai que 20 jours pour remonter jusqua la thaillande merci pour tout vos rensignements

je cheche des infos sur le transport en malaisie, le train, le bus, le taxi enfin tout ce qui roule, je prepare un voyage dans ce pays pour 2006 au depart de singapoure je suis preneur de toutes infos, interet du transport, prix etc, etc, je voudrais faire le tour du pays en trois ou quatre semaines je suis aller faire un tour a l'office du tourisme a paris ou jai recuperer de la documentation mais je pense que l'experience du terrain doit etre un plus pour preparer le voyage d'avance merci pour les infos

Hi everyone, My 16-year-old son, my partner, and I are planning a trip to Malaysia in August.

Here’s what I’m thinking so far:

- KL (4 nights): The first day is a write-off, so that leaves 3 full days. - Cameron Highlands (2 nights): 1 full day for Mossy Forest, etc.

Now, the big question. I’m planning to go to Penang—either 3 or 4 nights. If I do 4 nights, I’ll have 3 full days to explore. If I do 3 nights, I’m thinking of spending 1 night in Ipoh.

Is Ipoh worth it for a day? Is 3 full days in Penang too much? - Perhentians (4 nights).

To finish, back to KL and a visit to Malacca, or maybe Singapore—but if it’s just for a day, it might not be worth it.

I just checked the flight ticket prices for returning to France in the coming days from Southeast Asia, without going through the Gulf. I can see why some prefer to wait it out where they are, at least for now. One-way economy class prices.

We’ve already explored Bali, eastern Java, and its volcanoes back in 2013, and we’d love to return to Java to discover other spots that aren’t so "mainstream." There’ll be three of us—a couple and our 25-year-old son. We love nature, small towns, villages, beautiful landscapes, and a bit of beach time... We’re used to backpacking around Southeast Asia. Any tips for exploring some great spots in Java in a coherent way, with 3 or 4 bases for a 3-week trip from late June to mid-July? We don’t want to revisit Bromo or Ijen (they seem way too crowded compared to 2013), and we might swing by Djogja but won’t redo Borobudur or Prambanan (same issue...). Looking forward to your tips! We’re thinking of spending 3 weeks in Asia this fall to visit some of the major capitals on this vast continent. We’d like to get a (very rough) sense of just how fast Asia is moving compared to what we see in the West (we’re from Quebec). For now, our very preliminary list includes Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. There are obviously plenty of other options—Seoul, Shanghai, etc.

I’m looking for a friendly female travel buddy to fly with me from Nice in February 2026. I’ve been keeping travel journals for 15 years now… and I know Southeast Asia pretty well!

If you love laughing, beaches, markets, sea excursions, or just heading out for a drink and dancing when there’s nothing planned the next morning—if you’re tidy and respectful (we’ll split accommodation costs and some transport, like tuk-tuks), then welcome aboard!

Here’s the plan: We’ll fly from Nice to either CEBU or PUERTO PRINCESA, depending on which ticket is cheapest. Speaking of which, I’m on a tight budget, so I don’t mind a 15-hour layover (for example, often in Singapore—we can even explore the city by taking the MRT!) because long layovers can save me 400 €–500. I’m in no rush—I’d rather save that money for our trip!

We’ll spend three full weeks there.

Just to be clear upfront so there are no surprises or misunderstandings: I’m looking for someone free from around February 20th to March 15th. We’ll leave Nice together. - Valid passport (must be valid for more than six months after our return date). - E-Travel form must be filled out online 72 hours before departure—**mandatory**, or no boarding!

We’ll also book a round-trip domestic flight in advance (cheaper than last-minute).

Our itinerary includes CEBU, BOHOL and the surrounding areas, then a flight to PUERTO PRINCESA, EL NIDO, PORT BARTON, etc.… basically, a dream trip!
