Hi everyone! I need to spend a short night near the airport to catch a 6:00 AM flight on June 18th. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm looking for a simple but clean hotel! With a reasonable price, of course, 🙂 and especially a transfer option from Saint-Exupéry train station the night before and to the airport the next morning. Thanks in advance for your tips and experiences.
Hiking in the Alps summer 2025
by Paolaa · 2025-04-24 · 0 replies
Hi there, I’m looking for travel companions around my age (between 18 and 25) to go hiking in the Alps at the end of July 2025. I’d like to go for 3 to 5 days. It’s my first time doing a multi-day hike, so even though I’m sporty and motivated, I’d prefer something not too tough. If you have any hiking suggestions or want to join me, I’m in! !
Where to stay to explore Ardèche?
by Claude48 · 2025-03-27 · 14 replies
Hello,

I’m planning to spend a few days in Ardèche and I’d like to know if we should choose just one base or more to visit the region. Looking at the department map and the main sites to see, I’d personally go for 2 bases to avoid too much driving. So, if anyone who knows this beautiful region well could give me some advice on this, I’d really appreciate it in advance!

Visiting Lyon in 2 days with kids
by Curiosaurel · 2025-01-30 · 9 replies
Hi there, We’d like to spend 2 days in Lyon in May with our 8- and 12-year-old kids, exploring the city on foot. We’ll arrive on day 1 around 11 AM and leave on day 2 around 6 PM.

I’ve mapped out two routes and was wondering if they’re doable in our 2 days, and if you have any tips or info on visit prices.

We’re not sure where to stay yet, but we’d like to optimize by booking accommodation (hotel or Airbnb) between the two routes, maybe?

Thanks for your help!

Le tunnel du Mortier (Vercors-vallée de l'Isère) fermé du 21/09 au 16/10/2020
by Cezax · 2020-09-20 · 5 replies

by Yoann1 · 2020-08-03 · 4 replies
