Borders

Serbia shares borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina (300 km), Croatia (241 km), Hungary (164 km), Romania (476 km), Bulgaria (344 km), North Macedonia (62 km), Kosovo, which is still not recognised by Serbia (352 km), and Montenegro (157 km).

To/from Kosovo

Since Serbia does not recognise Kosovo, crossing between the two countries (from Kosovo to Serbia) can sometimes be impossible depending on the "mood" of Serbian authorities, especially if you have a Kosovar stamp in your passport. It is therefore advisable to also have an identity card allowing entry into Serbia (or to choose a crossing point in another country).

By River

As in neighbouring countries, the Danube remains a navigable route for this landlocked country.
