Climate and weather
Morbihan has a temperate oceanic climate with some microclimates, such as in Quiberon. It is characterized by mild winters and summers. In summer, the heat generally remains moderate. In winter, frosts are rare, especially on the islands and along the coast. Rainfall is quite abundant year-round, with a peak in winter. The coastline and the eastern part of the department are the least rainy areas.
Sea temperature throughout the year
The water temperature is never very warm in Brittany. Naturally, swimming is most pleasant in the heart of the summer season.
