Gran Canaria is above all the island of holidays, beach relaxation, and all-inclusive resorts.

Cultural Heritage

While associated with beaches, seaside resorts, and all-inclusive stays, it’s easy to overlook that Gran Canaria also offers visitors glimpses of its history in Las Palmas and several other coastal towns (Aguïmes, Gáldar, Telde, etc.).

Beaches and Coastline

Along with Tenerife, it is the main relaxation-holiday destination in the entire archipelago, which is a key motivator for the vast majority of visitors. Gran Canaria is also home to Maspalomas, the largest seaside resort area in the Canary Islands.

Nature and Activities

Unlike the other islands, though varied, Gran Canaria’s spectacular landscapes and untouched nature are less prominent here. However, the vast dunes around Maspalomas are well worth a visit.
