Depuis quelque temps je réfléchis à l'idée de partir un an à l'étranger, pour apprendre l'anglais, bouger un peu de la France et au passage m'éclater et rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, j'ai donc choisi l'AUSTRALIE !
L'Australie car c'est le bout du monde, une faune et une flore a part, une autre mentalité et style de vie, le soleil toute l'année... Je souhaite donc profiter du WORKING HOLIDAY VISA pour faire des petits jobs et découvrir le pays au maximum.
Je suis en train de mettre tout ça en production, et commence à économiser, je travaille dans l'hotellerie restauration, donc petits revenus, mais je partirais avec un Aller Simple et environ 1000euros.
Pour l'instant personne pour me suivre dans mon entourage, donc si quelqu'un serait motivé, ou meme info si vous avez déjà fait ce genre de 'trip' j'attends vos récits !

et tu voudrais travailler dans quoi si tu part la bas ?
Je vois qu'on à peu près les mêmes motivations, donc niveau renseignement pour le visa WHV on s'inscrit et repond à un questionnaire via un site du gouvernement australien et on paye ( environ 150e) et le le visa nous est en principe renvoyé. J'ai vu qu'il y avait quelques conditions ( age max 31 ...) et d'autres mais en théorie seulement, ils disent aussi d'apporter une somme minimale d'environ 3000e, mais ce n'est pas vérifié... Apparemment certaines boites sur internet, en echange d'une somme vous trouve déjà logement travail des votre arrivée, perso je veut éviter cette formule.....
J'ai envie d'arrivé la haut, Sydney ou Melbourne, faire du fruit picking, serveur ou autres selon ce qui me sera proposé, mais c'est pas les petits boulots qui manquent sur place.. J'aimerais dormir, sous tente, auberge jeunesse, chez l'habitant.. peu importe au début du séjour et ensuite faire une colloc, bref je crois qui y'a vraiment beaucoup de possibilités en Australie, et j'ai envie de vivre l'aventure et d'arrivé sans rien sur place ;)
Pour les dates de départ peu importe, mais j'aimerais entre octobre decembre, les billets d'avion pour ce que j'ai vu c'est environ 1200e A/R sans date de reservation.

Oui moi c'est pareil je veux partir pour faire du fruit picking et serveuse également, ensuite pour le logement idem, tente, auberge, coloc. Pour les villes bien sur Sydney, Melbourne (incontournable), par contre la vie y est trés chere a ce qu'on m'as dit donc je n'y séjournerai pas longtemps, je voudrais aussi visiter d'autres villes et aller vers le nord puis longer toute la côte se serait pas mal et on m'as dit que c'est magnifique. Pour les 3000euros c'est vrai qu'il ne vérifie pas mais question budget je pense que c'est bien d'avoir assez d'argent au cas ou pour parer à toutes difficultés qui peut survenir mieux vaut être prévoyant mais ça c'est mon avis et en fait niveau tunes mon budget va être trés serrer je sais même pas si j'aurai 3000euros...je voulais te demander tu vas partir seul? si oui on peut prendre contact?

Niveau budget : très serré 1000e au max + billet Aller ( le moins cher que j'ai trouvé pour l'instant est à 650 avec une escale de 12h a Shanghai :) encore une fois 650e c'est que pour l'aller, je penserais au retour sur place quand j'aurais pu mettre un peu d'argent de coté pour repartir)
Au taux de change le dollar AU est plus faible que l'euro, 1EUROS = 1,30 $
Pour les dates, je penche aussi pour Octobre, et parait il que le cout de la vie a Sydney est cher !
Bref, moi j'suis complètement chaud à y'allé en groupe donc faudrais qu'on entre en contact assez vite, qu'on se fixe une date, et j'espere que le feeling passera ! ;)

Re, donc au départ je voudrais vraiment rester en ville au moins le premier mois le temps de s'acclimater etc, mais pour le fruit picking ça a l'air d'etre assez eloigné de sydney la plupart du temps, et je ne pense pas que je serais pris comme serveur à Sydney à mon arrivé vu que je maitrise pas tres bien l'anglais !

Non je ne suis pas inscrit, j'ai parcouru le site en vitesse, c'est bien mais bon trop éloigné de Sydney je trouve, à faire par la suite c'est sur pour découvrir, mais j'aimerais rester à proximité de la ville du moins au début du séjour!
Pour l'avion c'est sur que c'est mieux ensemble, et niveau paquetage je sais pas encore soit classique sac à dos et gros sac de sport ou bien j’achète un gros sac à dos style Quechua.
Du nouveau, je me suis inscrit sur le site, et en faite pour pouvoir avoir acces a toutes les offres et contactez les "Hosts" il faut payer 2Oeuros pour 2 ans d'utilisation.
Il ya pleins de possibilités, à la ville à la campagne, pour garder des maisons, travailler à la ferme etc ...

Moi aussi je part vers le moi d'octobre en Australie avec un ami.
Je pense prendre le pack visa-first comme ça moins de stress pour tout ce qui est paperasse une fois arrivé laba.
Une foi arrivé en Australie on pense travailler en fruit picking. plus facile pour apprendre a parler l'anglais (car moi personnellement je suis une bille). Pour les travails en ville il faut, me semble t'il, savoir bien parler anglais.
Avec mon collègue on pense acheter un van pour pouvoir allez travailler et en même temps nous loger, ça peut être un bon plan aussi. le fait d'avoir un van permet aussi de bouger plus facilement pour voir du pays. On a l'intention de trouver un van entre 4000$Aus et 6000$Aus donc entre 2800€ et 4200€, dividé par deux car pour nous aussi le budget est limité.
Si ça se trouve on se croisera la-ba. Il faudrait garder contacte.
