Voilà, je me tourne vers vous pour des conseils sur mon voyage en Australie. Je vais partir début janvier pour environ 6 mois en WHV, et j'irais à Melbourne. Mon plan est de trouver une coloc quelques semaines avant de partir par petites annonces sur internet, de débarquer à melbourne avec un peu d'argent de côté et une fois là bas de trouver un job dans la restauration, l'hotellerie etc.
J'aurais aimé avoir l'avis d'autres gens qui ont fait ce genre de voyage, en particulier en ce qui concerne le logement. Est-ce qu'il est dur de trouver un logement, en particulier une colocation et sans être dans le pays ? Quelles sont les erreurs à ne pas faire ?
J'ai cru comprendre que trouver du travail était assez simple. Vous en dites quoi ?
Voilà sinon je prévois de faire des ptites activités genre surf, plongée et si j'ai assez d'argent de côté je bougerais ptêtre un peu de melbourne ;)
Enfin, si d'autres personnes ont le même projet que moi, il est pas impossible de se retrouver d'une manière ou d'une autre !

pour le logememt ne t inquiete pas! il y a partt en oz des auberges de jeunesse que l on appelle Backpacker!
d accord c des dorttoirs mais ca te permet de rencontrer du monde et surtt c pas cher!! tt le monde ici passe par ca au debut! car tu ne trouvera pas de logement par internet, c mieu d etre sur place!
Pour le travail, ya pas de soucis si tu a un bon anglais, si non tu va galerer!!
Melbourne est la meilleur ville en australie c un bon choix!!

ca depend des periodes mais tu devrais trouver une colocation assez facilement!
tout a melbourne est super! festivals tt les weekend, la plage, le shopping, les sorties...

Pour du boulot, compte tenu de la taille de la ville, y'a pas de souci, il y a forcement quelque chose pour toi.
J'opterai pour le velo pour me deplacer. Ca peut etre interressant de vivre dans le meme quartier ou tu bosses car si au debut tu appreciera les transports, ca risque de te prendre la tete au depart. En arrivant, tu peux toujours essayer de te faire heberger en auberge de jeunesse contre 3/4h de boulot/jour le temps de trouver un tel portable et de mettre le numero sur ton CV.
oui en effet, sans anglais tu va franchement galerer!! mais c trop bon!!
je suis arrivee ya plus d un an et demi sans anglais et v la la galere au debut!!
Mais je le refrai si ct a refaire!! j ai commence comme plongeuse, femme de menage et ensuite avec un peu d anglais j ai pu exerser mon metier qui est la coiffure et aussi serveuse et barmaid!!
c sur qu au debut c dur, mais il faut etre fort et ne pas hesiter a rencontrer des gens, sache qu ici la moitie viennent des 4 coins du monde alors tu ne te sentira pas seul!!
Je n ai pas vraiment de conseils a te donner, il faut vivre ca propre experience!!
Pour repondre ce qui est de transport a melbourne, franchement c tro facile !! ya des trams partt, les trains... tu va vraiment aimer ici!!!
tt ca pour te dire que oui c stressant au debut et c galere mais n hesite pas, les australiens sont tres ouverts et t aiderons ! tu rencontrera des francais c sur au debut mais faudra par la suite les eviter pour ameliorer ton anglais....

Maintenant à savoir si la ville est propice aux déplacements cyclistes...mais à réfléchir....
tout d abord, quand tu arrivera a melbourne il faut te procurrer le TFN ( tax file number) .
C comme un numero de securite social qui te serra demander pour travailler ( si ils veulent te declarer car ici ils paye beaucoup au black) . Tu peu faire la demande par internet mais le mieu est d aller directement a l immigration a melbourne ils t aideront face a face ! t sur de ne pas te tromper.
Tu arrivera en janvier donc en plein ete, sache qu a melbourne on peu avoir les 4 saisons en une seule journee! donc ca change tres vite! tien, hier on a sorti les echarpes et aujourd hui je v aller a la piscine et peu etre qu apres je vais resortir le manteau ...lol c incroyable comme le temps change vite! mais t inkiet les 3/4 il fait beau.
Tu trouvera tt sur melbourne, c un petit paris en bord de mer, comme nice ou marseille...
Je suis en colocation avec 2 australiennes dans une petite maison . ici tout le monde vit en collocation. c normal... J ai meme fai en debut d annee 3 mois ds une grande maison, on etai 12 ( anglais, irlandais, allemands...) ct drole . mais heureusement on travaillais tous beaucoup... lol
le loyer est a payer tte les semaine ou 15 jrs. tu doi biensur donner souvent une caution. pas besoin de boulot ou de garanti . Les loyer sont de 100 a 200 dollards par semaine (60 a 120 euros) ca depend de l endroit et de l etat (120 a 150 c bien) et la caution peu aller jusqu a 500 dollards donc prevoi!!
Pas besoin d acheter un telephone. ici tu ira debloquer le tien et acheter une carte australienne( vodafone) equivalent a sfr, qui te coutera 40 dollards ( env 25 euros) et tu achetera ds tt les tabac ou magazinier une carte pour recharger ton credit quand t en a plus. tt simple.
Je ne peu dire que la vie est plus ou moins cher. Le fromage, l alcool, le vin, les fruits c beaucoup plus cher!!
l essence, le transport, la nourriture, les sorties, les verres au bar sont beaucoup moins cher!! donc tu voi c equivalent...
Le plus important, c de ne pas tro t ancombrer ! tt le monde ici vis avec un sac sur le dos!! lol
Bon a penser je ne c pas vraiment, TON PASSEPORT! et le l envie de profiter a fond de ce merveilleux pays et des gens ....
