L'important dans une assurance internationale quand tu pars loin et longtemps, c'est d'en prendre une sans franchise.
Tu trouveras ces assureurs spécialisés sur le net avi international ( Marco Polo ) Magellan ASFE ISIS ISIC worldnomads AVA
Sur ton WHV, il est noté que l'assurance est obligatoire, on est susceptible de te la demander à la douane.
Autant ne pas jouer à la roulette russe, je le redis, les accidents et les galères, ça n'arrive pas qu'aux autres...

Je sais que c'est pas bien mais quoi? Entre l'argent du départ, le prix du billet, le visa, le sac et les trucs que tu mets dedans...L'assurance ne pas semblée une priorité🙂 Cela dit je reconnais que c'est toujours risqué de ne pas être assuré surtout ces temps-ci😉 En tout cas, c'est vrai que partir loin ça fait peur mais faut ce dire que c'est comme de partir en Europe (avec un peu plus de contraintes) et ça ira tout seul 🙂

En tout cas, la bonne nouvelle c'est que maintenant je suis résidente permanente en Australie pour 2 ans au minimum donc j'ai droit à la carte médicare qui correspond à notre carte de sécu en France...Alors pas de panique!
A vérifier aussi, je me souviens d'une clause de la CB qui nous assure avec? Je dis à vérifier car ça m'étonnerait que la banque fasse ce genre de chose? Ma mémoire est un peu confuse car ayant en 2 et demi vécue à Londres et en Ecosse puis suis revenue en France pour 5 mois pour finalement préparer mes bagages pour l'Australie...J'en ai perdu un peu la tête??? 🤪
Je suis persuadée que chacun trouve son petit bonheur dans la façon dont on gère son budget, sa santé et son propre voyage! Pour ma part, J'ai toujours fait attention à moi-même jusqu'à là! Bien sûr que partir en Inde, en Afrique ou d'autres pays de ce genre avec maladies tropicales et autres cochonneries plus les prb auxquels ont ne s'attend pas peut poser prb. De toutes façons on ne le dira jamais assez, il faut toujours effectuer une recherche bien approfondi sur le pays que l'on visite...
Mais bon, l'Australie c'est comme même pas la Jungle! Ils sont civilisés, ils mangent comme nous, ont des hopitaux, etc...En plus la quarantaine pour la nourriture je vous promet que parfois ça déprime!
Et puis je voudrais pas être médisante car ça me manque les bons petits plats français et tout le charme que la France a...Mais y'a comme même un truc qui me chiffonne c'est le manque de dynamisme pour le voyage!

Alors je dis faites comme vous pouvez, avec vos moyens, en prenant bien soin de vous....Et lancez-vous, profites en au maximum car au fond une vie on en a qu'une et faut pas la ratée!
Assurance ou pas, j'ai beaucoup d'amis dans différents coins du monde (France, Angleterre, Japon, Australie, Nouvelles Zélandes, Albanie, Turquie, etc...) et je ne crois pas qu'il y en ai un qui est pris une assurance!😉

Les pays où tu vas n'ont rien à voir, que tu sois en Afrique noire ou dans un pays industrialisé, tu peux te faire braquer, violenter, tu peux....j'en sais rien moi, te faire voler toutes tes affaires, tu peux faire une rupture d'anévrisme, avoir l'appendicite, te casser une jambe ( enfin bref, tu m'as comprise hein 😛)....et la recherche approfondie sur les pays n'a rien à voir non plus là-dedans...
S'il t'arrive une connerie de ce genre, sans assurance, c'est pour ta poche, c'est ce à quoi je fais référence....tout le monde sait qu'en Australie, il n'y a pas d'hôpitaux voyons....

Ailleursland a eu la gentillesse de citer les assureurs francais
tu devrais obligatoirement en prendre avant le depart car c'est une condition sine qua non pour ne pas te faire refouler a l'arrivee, les controleurs regardent ton visa et te demanderont l'attestation d'assurance
cher, tout depend de la duree de ton sejour
regardes les differentes offres, je sais qu'elles evoluent constamment
compares aussi avec ton assurance maison / individus et avec de gros assureurs comme mondial assistance, elvia, europe assistance,
parfois, en fonction de la duree l'un est plus cher que les autres et moins pour d'autres durees...

qd tu seras en Australie tu ne dépenderas plus dla sécu française normal si tu travailles là bas tu cotiseras pr eux ms tu n'auras pas droit à MEDICARE (système de santé australien équivalent de la sécu ici) car tu ne seras pas résident permanent. Tu dois dc et il vaut mieux souscrire 1 assurance privée pr tt ce qui est frais médicaux hospitalisation rapatriement .....
Si tu veux tjs dépendre de la sécu je crois qu il faut que tu adhères à la CFE Caisse des français de l'étranger ms c trés cher. Sinon si tu as rien tes frais médicaux ...ne te seront remboursés qu'à ton retour. Pense q là bas il peut t'arriver n'importe quoi et il est important de souscrire 1 assurance privée. J'espère t'avoir aidé.
