Alors voilà je me présente déjà, je m'appelle Richard, j'ai 21 ans et je suis en 2ème année de DUT Techniques de Commercialisation.
Lors de cette 2ème année j'ai l'opportunité de faire un stage d'une durée de 2 mois minimum, j'ai donc décider en début d'année de le réaliser aux Etats-Unis.
J'ai fais ce choix car je pense que c'est une réelle opportunité de faire un stage là bas, que ce soit au niveau professionnel qu'au niveau personnel, en plus de ça, j'ai l'ambition de travailler à l'étranger, dans le commerce international, je pense donc que ce choix rentre parfaitement dans mon projet professionnel.
J'ai donc choisi la ville de San Francisco pour mon stage. A l'issu de ce choix, j'ai réaliser un budget prévisionnel pour une durée de 3 mois là bas.
J'aimerai donc savoir si tout mes calculs etc... sont vraiment cohérent avec la vie là bas, je pense avoir tout pris en compte, mais je voudrai en être totalement sur avant de partir, pour éviter les mauvaises surprises !
Voilà mon budget prévisionnel :
Dépenses durant le stage
Billet Aller-Retour : 800€
Loyer: 650€x3 = 1950€
Nourriture: 600€ pour 3 mois
Transport: 300€ pour 3 mois
Portable: 50€x3 = 150€
Total des dépenses = 3000€
Recette durant le stage
Bourses: 400€/mois + 450€/mois + 220€/mois = 3210€ pour 3 mois
+ 400 et 200 = 600 = 3810€ avec toute les bourses sur 3 mois
Economies personnelles = 300€
Autres ressources: Prêt étudiant possible de 1000€
Total des recettes : 4110€
Et voici le descriptif des bourses potentielles que je peux avoir :

Avec ceci, j'ai aussi pris en compte les frais du Visa J-1 qui serait de 1000€ environ selon mes calculs (en prenant en compte tout les frais annexes) que je finance déjà avec mes économies.

Je compte loger dans un appartement à partager je pense. J'ai cherché une famille d'accueil mais c'est plus cher qu'un appartement à priori, et je n'ai pas vraiment trouvé de maison pour étudiant ! 😕

Non. C'est indiqué qu'en théorie il vous faut un visa, et que certains se risquent à travailler dans l'illégalité. Personne ici ne vous pourra vous conseiller de travailler sans visa, notamment en Californie.

Si vous etes pris vous serez expulse immediatement des USA, et pour revenir plus tard cela serait tres difficile.
Il existe des personne qui logent les etudiants pour de courtes periodes a San Francisco.

Le site de l'Etudiant contient pas mal d'inexactitudes souvent concernant les formalités d'ailleurs. Quand on cherche des infos sur les visas, il faut privilégier avant tout le site de l'ambassade et/ou de l'immigration du pays concerné. Le visa est bien obligatoire même pour un seul jour de stage rémunéré ou pas.
Si tu y vas sans visa, tu prends pas mal de risques: refoulement à l'immigration (et donc interdiction à vie de revenir dans le cadre du programme d'exemption visa de pour du tourisme ou même pour transiter), expulsion en cas de "raid" de l'inspection du travail ou de dénonciation, problèmes en cas d'accident du travail... Sans oublier que l'employeur aura plus de facilités pour te virer, t'exploiter...

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
