Regarding your two questions: 1) We’re driving down from Alsace to Aumont-Aubrac, and one person is coming by train from Paris. We’ll leave the car there. We’re traveling stage by stage on foot, and we’re having our luggage transported by *La Malle Postale* (not mandatory). The return trip will also be with a *La Malle Postale* shuttle. 2) We’ve booked accommodations in *gîtes*, sometimes in rooms of 3, sometimes 6 (our group has 6 people), and sometimes in dormitories. Full program available. Questions for you: 1) How old are you? 2) The stages will be 18 to 26 km over 12 days (263 km total)—are you used to this kind of hiking?

Thanks for your reply. Just so you know, I’m from the Haguenau area. To answer your questions: - I’m 75 years old - I’m a seasoned Compostela pilgrim with over 10,000 km under my belt over 12 years, including two arrivals in Santiago. The first was Strasbourg to Santiago (2,400 km), and the second was Porto to Santiago along the coastal route (a stunning path). - I carry my own luggage (pilgrim spirit, after all). - I do 30 km a day without any issues.

That’s me in a nutshell.

The project sounds interesting. I can’t confirm right away—I’ve also planned a trip in May and I’m waiting to hear back from someone who might join me. How many people will be in the car at the start and on the return?
