On hésite entre ces deux complexes pour un voyage d'une semaine en août 2009.
J'ai pu lire qu'à Holguin la plage serait moins belle (algues, cailloux) qu'à Varadero. Par contre le site du Brisas Guardalavaca serait plus complet et plus beau que le Super Clubs Breezes Bella Costa...qu'en est-il, pourriez-vous nous donner de l'information sur ces complexes s.v.p?
Nous sommes 3 personnes, deux femmes et un garçon de huit ans, qui recherchons un endroit sécuritaire, plus ou moins calme, avec une belle plage et de belles piscines pour mon fils...
Allo, moi je suis allez a coté du brisas guardalavaca, c`est la mème plage. il y a beaucoups de rocails et des algues, je crois que c`est a cause de Ike. mais je n`ai vraiment pas aimé la plage. par contre mon agente de voyage m`a dis justement que le breezes était bien et que la plage était tres belle. elle m`a dit que la bouffe est bonne. j`èspere que je t`ai aider un peu. J'ai été aux Bella Costa en novembre dernier et au club amigo caméleon en avril 2008(Voisin du brisas guadalavarca).
Ce que je peux vous dire du bella costa : la nourriture y est très bonne. Particulièrement, le jeudi soir où ils font une paela et beaucoup de choix. La plage est superbe. Toutefois, il faut se déplacer un petit peu sur la gauche(si on est face à la mer), car en face de l'hôtel, il y a parfois des roches en entrant dans l'eau. On peut marcher longtemps sur du beau sable fin en direction de Varadero .Il y a des vendeurs de colliers, bracelets qui se déplacent avec de vieilles bécanes.Il y a un restaurant tout près de la plage et on y mange très bien, la vue légèrement en surplomb de l'ocean WOW!!
Cette hotel accueille beaucoup de golfeurs, le terrain de golf étant tout juste derrière. C'est un hôtel en hauteur, nous étions au 6e étage ou 7e, dernier étage sans balcon, mais vue sur la mer magnifique ! Chambre correcte, bon service et hôtel propre.
Pour aller à Varadero, il faut prendre un taxi surtout pour aller aux marché aux puces, qui est un peu plus loin que le centre ville. Il faut essayer les cocos taxis et le tour d'autobus deux étages.
Pour ce qui est de Guadalavarca : la plage du brisas est complètement différente. Quand je l'ai vu c'était avant Ike. il ya avait une belle végétation.C'était plutôt tranquille comme plage, comparé au Bella Costa. Le sable était grossier.La plage du club amigo est nettement plus belle et adjacente à la plage publique de Guadalavarca qui est encore plus belle.
L'hôtel a quand même une belle apparence, surtout les villas. Un avantage : le marché aux puces . Il est tout juste à côté du club Amigo, à quelques minutes de marche du Brisas. Il est un peu plus petit mais tout aussi intéressant que celui de Varardero.
Je n'ai malheureusement pas séjourné au brisas guadalavarca. Par contre j'ai un ami qui déjà été dans les villas et c'était très bien.

Finalement on a choisi d'aller à Holguin parce qu'on avait envie de voir la "campagne" de Cuba, on avait moins envie de se retrouver dans une ville archi-touristique...je sais que la plage sera moins belle, mais je pense que le site en vaudra tout de même la peine...On verra bien 😛
On a finalement choisi le Brisas Guardalavaca, le voyage est acheté...mais les commentaires sur Varadero me donne tout de même le goût d'y aller une prochaine fois...Et effectivement, on a demander une villa...😉
Lors de ton passage au Brisas va faire un petit tour sur la plage publique du Club amigo qui est juste a côté, en logeant le petit sentier de toute beauté et en plus une très belle plage si trouve et tu pourras aller faire tes achats au marché aux puces. J'adore se petit coin pays...

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:

🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
