Je dois me rendre à Barcelone en voiture la semaine prochaine, je souhaite me garer à l'exterieur et prendre le métro ou le bus. Quelqu'un peut il me renseigner je n'arrive à rien sur internet. Merci d'avance à tous.

Sinon quelqu'un aurait t-il l'adresse de l'un des centres commerciaux à l'extérieur de la ville où il est possible de laisser la voiture gratuitement?

Les parkings valent assez chers à Barcelone (bcn). Tu peux essayer en périphérie éventuellement. Tu peux aller voir ce blg qui explique les couleurs des places (verts, bleu, blanc) et te faire une idée;

Dans ce coin, j'ai trouvé en 2009 un parkingsurveillé B:SM sur la carrer d'Ali Bei sous la Estación de Autobuses de Barcelona (Nord). Bien placé, il est à deux pas de l'arc de triumf. j'ai payé en 2009 54€ les 3 jours (Y'a une formule 8 jours a 75€). Ca n'est pas très bon marché comme tu peux le lire mais il est bien placé.😕

Au moins , je suis maintenant sure qu'il y a au moins un parking dans le coin !! Lorsque on lit les forums, cela donne l'impression que les parkings n'existent pas, sauf en périphérie !!! 😉
L'autre idée serait de trouver un parking surveillé en dehors de la ville (à 30km par exemple) , et de prendre ensuite le train ....

En avril dernier, nous nous sommes garés gratuitement au bord du trottoir à Sitges, dormi à Sitges et pris le train pour Barcelone (gare de Sants). Il y a une route traversant Sitges, sur cette route, une pharmacie avec un "drive" devant pour s'y rendre. Une rue en sens unique débouche à côté de la pharmacie sur la route principale, une petite marche arrière depuis le drive de la pharmacie et j'étais garée...

je vais en décevoir plus d'un ... en fait il s'agissait d'une prestation proposée par l'hotel mais il n'y avait que 9 places d'où la non-publicité de la part de l'hotel ...
pour ceux qui n'ont pas une voiture trop grande valeur, j'ai vu des parkings privés disponibles dans la ville, qui m'ont semblé très bien(par exemple sur la place des Gran Catalunes)

Je vous remercie pour vos renseignements. En effet c'est une excellent idée de garer à l'aéroport je n'y avais pas pensé car c'est vraiment très cher à Barcelone d'après ce que j'ai compris ...

c'est pratique il y a aussi qq petites reductions et des visites gratuites
ce n'est pas l'affaire du siecle non plus

je me suis renseigné auprès de la mairie de Barcelone qui m'a envoyé des tarifs ainsi que des adresses de parking. Personnellement nous allons essayer de garer notre voiture au: Parc de recerca biomèdica Carrer del Dr Aiguader,88
j'ai regardé sur itinéraire de michelin et c'est à moins de 2 km du monument de Colomb donc tout près de la Rambla.
Le coût : 37.45€ de 1 à 5 jours.
Nous nous allons visiter Barcelone à pieds.

Pendant tout le mois d'août tu pourras te garer gratuitement dans le quartier de l'Eixample. Les parcmètres sont d'ailleurs "fermés" et des petits affichages t'indiquent que le stationnement est gratuit dans la ville pendant tout le mois! Si tu préfères un parking surveillé je peux comprendre mais j'avoue que je vis dans ce quartier et il est assez tranquille, il y a peu de risques que l'on te l'abime...

J'ai l'habitude de me garer au parking automatisé du Palau Nou (celui qui a 11 sotanos et qui est automatique), je crois que c'est au 94 de la Rambla.
Cette fois, nous venons avec un 4x4 et je n'arrive pas trouver leur site web.
Saurais-tu par hasard cette adresse, car j'aimerais être sûre de pouvoir le garer sans problème.
Je vais faire d'autres recherches ou passer par l'office du tourisme.

Selon les guides, les incontournables seraient la sagrada familial, la pedrera , la casa mila, le palais de la musique et le camp nou pour lesquels les billets semblaient assez onéreux. Que me conseillez vous en priorité à visiter?
La sagrada n'est pas gratuite si on ne prend pas l'audioguide?
Y'a-t-il d'autres lieux à visiter qui valent vraiment le coup? ( parc guell etc)

Personnellement je n'ai pas aimé la Sagrada familla, trop cher, trop longue queue d'attente pour pas grand chose. Je vous conseillerai plus tôt d'aller visiter la "Cathédrale" qui se trouve dans le quartier Barri Gotic, prix du billet 6€ et elle est vraiment très belle.
Concernant les oeuvres de Gaudi, nous n'avons pas visité la casa Millau mais la Casa Battlo, le billet d'entrée est aussi assez cher mais je ne regrette pas, ça en vallait le coup.
Faire un tour sur la Rambla sans oublier le marché de la Boqueria.
Faites attention aux pièges des restaurants qui vous proposent: 2 tapas + 1 paella pour 11€, la paella est congelée et en plus on est tenté de prendre une sangria avec, on ne vous donne pas les prix, on vous apporte l'équivalent d'un pot à eau par personne et la note s'alourdie considérablement.
Allez boire una "cerbeza" sur la plaça Réal, toujours sur la Rambla, très sympathique.
Et profitez pleinement de l'accueil chaleureux des Catalans, car ils ont un vrai sourire et on voit que c'est de bon coeur.

Je cherche donc un parking, mais pas a 20 euros la nuit, plutot sur une base de 35 euros les 4 jours comme ca a été cité plus haut, quitte à prendre bien sur les transports ensuite :)

Barcelona de Serveis Municipals, S.A. le ofrece diversas tarifas y servicios que le pueden interesar.
Le aconsejamos consulte la página web www.aparcamentsbsm.cat
Teniendo en cuenta que la tarifa de rotación de los aparcamientos en general es sobre 2,89€/1hora y 37,45€/24horas seguramente le interesarán las siguientes opciones:
1-Si Vd necesita estacionar su vehículo sólo unas horas al día, entonces le recomendamos las TARJETAS PRE-PAGO, y de este modo le resultarán más baratas las horas de estancia en el párking. Estas tarjetas puede comprarlas en cualquier aparcamiento de la xarxa B:SM, SA y puede utilizarlas también en cualquiera de ellos. Los precios son:
- tarjeta de 100 horas: 193,90€
- tarjeta de 50 horas: 106,00€
- tarjeta de 25 horas: 55,70€
2-Si usted necesita estacionar su vehículo durante varios días consecutivos sin realizar entradas ni salidas del aparcamiento (Si retira el vehículo y lo quiere volver a aparcar, deberá abonar nuevamente la tarifa especial, ya que ésta se aplica únicamente en estacionamientos continuados), entonces le interesarán las tarifas multidías. Los aparcamientos que ofrecen esta tarifa especial son:
PLAÇA FÒRUM.- pagando sólo 36,65€ por el estacionamiento de 1 a 5 días consecutivos y 7€ por día adicional para estancias más largas.
ESTACIÓ BARCELONA-NORD.- por el precio de 17,25€ por día (24 horas) el vehículo puede permanecer estacionado durante varios días consecutivos.
PARC DE RECERCA BIOMÈDICA Y LITORAL PORT.- en ambos aparcamientos el vehículo puede permanecer de 1 a 5 días consecutivos por 37,45€ y 7€ diarios a partir del 6º día.
ONA GLÒRIES.- pagando sólo 5,75€ para estancias de 2 a 6 horas y 17,30€ para estancias de 6 a 24 horas.
No es necesario hacer reserva previa. Puede llegar directamente al aparcamiento que prefiera y ocupar cualquiera de las plazas que en ese momento estén disponibles.
Antes de retirar el vehículo deberá validar el tíquet de entrada (donde consta la hora y el día desde el que se aparca) en el cajero automático, el cual le aplicará automáticamente la tarifa por los días completos (24 horas) y las horas restantes se cobrarán según la tarifa de rotación.

Los aparcamientos que ofrecen esta tarifa especial son:

ESTACIÓ BARCELONA-NORD.- por el precio de 17,25€ por día (24 horas) el vehículo puede permanecer estacionado durante varios días consecutivos.
PARC DE RECERCA BIOMÈDICA Y LITORAL PORT.- en ambos aparcamientos el vehículo puede permanecer de 1 a 5 días consecutivos por 37,45€ y 7€ diarios a partir del 6º día.
ONA GLÒRIES.- pagando sólo 5,75€ para estancias de 2 a 6 horas y 17,30€ para estancias de 6 a 24 horas.
No es necesario hacer reserva previa. Puede llegar directamente al aparcamiento que prefiera y ocupar cualquiera de las plazas que en ese momento estén disponibles.
Antes de retirar el vehículo deberá validar el tíquet de entrada (donde consta la hora y el día desde el que se aparca) en el cajero automático, el cual le aplicará automáticamente la tarifa por los días completos (24 horas) y las horas restantes se cobrarán según la tarifa de rotación.

Bon alors j'ai testé "Parclick" et c'est génial.
Il y a plusieurs forfaits.
Personnellement j'ai payé 25 euros pour 24h alors que sur place c'était quasi 40 euros.
Et on peut sortir et rentrer du parking quand on veut.
Pas d'arnaque de mon coté.
Un autre avantage, vous savez avant de partir que vous ne galèrerez pas avec votre voiture, vous savez ou aller vous garer directement, quel soulagement.

Could you share some tips on the best road routes to take, as well as some walking hikes (we’re not as fit as we used to be, so nothing longer than 2-3 hours)? Maybe also 1 or 2 cable car rides—I was thinking of Oeschinensee Lake above Kandersteg and the First gondola above Grindelwald for better panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau... all while keeping it doable with our schedule. We’ve ruled out the "premium" trip up to the Jungfraujoch for this time. I’m also guessing that paying to access Wengen or Mürren only makes sense if we’re staying there for a few days, right? - Is the road through the narrow valley of the White Lütschine toward Lauterbrunnen and beyond still worth it in terms of views and scenery?

I visited the Faroe Islands in late March 2026 for about ten days. I was invited by a friend who lives near Tórshavn, so I don’t have any info on tourist accommodations or car rentals. Still, I’d like to share a few thoughts about my trip:
- Before leaving, I consulted travel guides and blogs. I was surprised by how repetitive and unoriginal the featured sites were. This leads hurried travelers to follow the same overcrowded routes, which can annoy locals. I found that all Faroese villages were interesting—they reflect the country’s identity, even without the iconic grass-roofed houses. Those are indeed harmonious and beautiful, but they feel like an exotic cliché. For activities, I loved the lively ports that keep the country running.
- I was annoyed by the paid trails in tourist spots. Locals explained that these paths cross private land, and owners are responsible for maintenance and safety. There are plenty of free trails, too—signs at the start detail their features. While not alarmist, the extreme and unpredictable weather is a key factor to consider before setting out.
- The wind’s strength really impressed me. The architecture, with doors and windows opening outward to prevent gusts from blowing roofs off, speaks to the harsh climate. Some days, relentless rain and squalls made going outside unappealing. I realized that in this country, it’s best to plan for flexible indoor days.
- Distances are relatively short. I was happy to be based near Tórshavn because it was easy to explore one or more places in a day. The roads are in great condition. In late March, diesel was 2 €. Tunnel tolls can add up (~26 € per crossing), making a fixed base less practical than I’d thought.
- Everyone agrees: the landscapes are breathtaking. Nature feels untamed here—except for the short grass, thanks to all the woolly sheep.
- The flight from Paris to the Faroe Islands (and back) was long in March—11 hours with three legs: Paris-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Vágar. In bad weather, Vágar Airport can close, causing delays. During tourist season, Atlantic Airways offers a direct Paris-Faroe Islands flight, which is more comfortable and cheaper.
- I found a book recommendation in a guide that fascinated me after my trip: *Les collectionneurs d'images* by Joanes Nielsen. Through its sometimes caricatured characters, it offers a glimpse into Faroese mentalities from the 1950s to 1970s—attitudes that likely persist today.
In conclusion, I’ve traveled a lot and I’m tired of destinations that all start to look the same. The Faroe Islands were a delight—a country stunning in its landscape, climate, and culture, where tourism has barely altered its authenticity.

We’re heading to Bavaria from May 13 to 23, with a side trip to Austria.
Here’s our itinerary:
Day 1: Brussels-Munich
Day 2: Munich
Day 3: Munich and departure for Salzburg
We’ll be staying three nights in Salzburg.
Then we’ll head to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where we’ll stay for five nights.
Visiting Munich and Salzburg isn’t too tricky.
Once in Garmisch, we’re planning a day in Innsbruck, a day for Neuschwanstein Castle, and the rest is still up in the air.
What’s really got me stumped is that we’d love to see Königssee Lake—everyone says it’s a must-see.
We’d also like to visit the Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus), where the landscapes are supposedly stunning.
This would either be a round trip while we’re in Salzburg or on the way between Salzburg and Garmisch, but I’m guessing it’s impossible to do the drive from Salzburg to Garmisch, the Eagle’s Nest, *and* Königssee Lake all in one day.
Plus, the Alpine route between Salzburg and Garmisch seems prettier than the highway.
But honestly, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the planning.
We should’ve added a stop between Salzburg and Garmisch, but the hotels are already booked.

I’ll be traveling alone with my two adult children. We want to prioritize outdoor walks, avoid too many indoor visits (both for budget and preference), and not spend too much time on the road.
D1: Arrival at 9 AM in Malaga, day in Malaga and overnight stay D2: Head straight to Nerja (1-hour drive) and spend the night there D3: Head straight to Granada (1.5-hour drive), spend the day and night there D4: Granada. Visit the Alhambra (Nasrid Palaces tour at 5 PM) and spend the night D5: Head to Ronda (2.5-hour drive) and spend the night D6: White Villages and overnight in Ronda D7: Head straight to the Costa del Sol (e.g., Estepona), spend the day and night there D8: Return to Malaga to catch our flight
There you go! This itinerary takes into account that we’d like to do a circuit starting from Seville in a few years. That said, it’d be a shame to miss something doable from Malaga.
Questions: Since the Alhambra visit is only at 5 PM, and we’d already have the day to explore Granada, would arriving the day before be a mistake? Or should we skip this day and dedicate it elsewhere (Costa del Sol? Head toward Tabernas?)? The old town appeals to me, but maybe the Sacromonte neighborhood isn’t essential... Same question for Ronda: should we dedicate a full day to it, or combine Ronda and the White Villages in one day? Note that we love wandering around villages outside, so that might answer my question! :)
Final question: Is it better to rent the car at Malaga Airport or in the city? If we rent at the airport, we’d need a hotel with parking, which doesn’t seem easy. Or stay outside the city and park for free near the center if possible? I’ve read comments about taking a taxi to Malaga and then picking up the rental car at the airport the next morning. The taxi would really need to be affordable...
