Je souhaite partir m'exiler à Londres durant une année, d'une part pour devenir bilingue et d'autre part pour faire le point au niveau des études.
Je viens bientôt finir mes études en gestion (IUT GEA) mais je ne sais pas encore ce que je veux réellement faire l'année prochaine. J'ai tenté des concours d'écoles de commerce dont certains que j'ai raté et d'autres que je n'ai pas encore passés. Je vais tenter des IUP mais sans grande conviction et motivation dans ce projet. Bref je suis un peu perdue et je souhaiterais faire une pause dans mes études. Mais pour ne pas faire quelques chose d'inutile de tout ce temps, je voudrais partir à londres puis revenir avec un super niveau en anglais (car j'ai un niveau moyen, pas terrible!).
Cependant mon entourage familiale me le déconseille en me disant que c'est une erreur d'arrêter ces études en plein milieu qu'il faut mieux partir dans le cadre des études.
Face à ce dilemme, je souhaiterais connaître votre avis sur la question et savoir si certains ont été confronté à cette même situation, si l'expérience a marché ou non, etc
Mon conseil, n'ecoute pas ta famille...mais ecoute plutot tes envies...et l'anglais de nos jours e t si important !
Mon experience: apres un IUT je ne savez trop quoi faire... je suis partit un an en angleterre pour continuer mes etude (bourse erasmus...tu as du en entendre parler) resultat, j'y suis reste, et j'ai fini un master la-bas...reconnu presque partout...
DOnc va te renseigner aupres te ton IUT s'ils permettent des echanges vers l'etranger type erasmus, socrates...je suis presque certain que c'est possible...bref c'est la meilleure solution, tu pars en angleterre, tu vas t'eclater (j'ai passer ma meilleure annee la-bas) et en plus, tu vas apprendre l'anglais en poursuivant tes etudes...

essaie de partir dans le cadre de tes etudes sinon va y quand meme car une année a apprendre l'anglais en travaillant ce n'est jamais une année de perdu mais un plus sur ton CV qui ne pourra que te servir pour n'importe quel job plus tard
D'ailleur je compte y aller pour la rentrée dans le but d'améliorer mon anglais.
il y aura toujours des gens qui ne seront pas d'accord avec ce que tu fais, parfois il faut écouter les conseils mais il faut en prendre et en laisser, vas-y comme tu l'entends. je viens de terminer ma maitrise et je vais en Angleterre en Septembre pour un an, ensuite je reviendrai pour completer surement une autre formation. Je ne sais pas encore ce que je vais faire comme boulot....... assurement, passer un an en Angleterre, meme si ce n'est pas dans le cadre éducatif, ce n'est pas du temps de perdu, c'est l'expérience d'une vie :)
Il n'est jamais trop tard, si je me souviens bien j'ai commencer mon inscription en juillet aout.
Renseigne toi des que possible.
Mais il est vrai que si tu ne trouve rien d'interressant, il est toujours facile de trouver un emploi la-bas (bars, resto..). Dans tous les cas, prepare toi a une renaissance...c'est ce qui arrive lorsque tu pars loin de chez toi pour la 1ere fois. Et un autre conseille, partage un appart, une maison avec des anglais...
Moi aussi je suis de Rennes et je compte partir à Londres en septembre pour y travailler etc. Mais moi, ce n'est pas pour un an, c'est pour bien plus. Voilà, si jamais tu veux discuter avec moi j'en serais ravie. En tout cas, comme les autres te l'ont dit, je pense que tu as raison de partir pour un an. Tu le regretteras sinon. Quand on est jeune, c'est plus facile de partir !
J'étais dans ta situation il ya encore 1mois;En fait je suis en bts action co, en plein exam et j'avais prévu de partir en angleterre pendant un an et cela après le bts et avant de commancer une licence mais beaucoup m'ont conseillé de partir après la licence car si non après l'angleterre je ne serai plus motivé pour continuer...Mais bon après c'est toi qui voit. Pour ma part je pense que j'aurai toujours été aussi motivé de reprendre mes études, question de volonté.Et puis en plus tes études, tu peux les reprendre quand tu veux mais partir dans un pays étranger...t'auras pas toujours l'occasion...Alors fonce et réfléchi pas trop.En plus si tu pars maintenant tu auras un bon niveau d'anglais pour ta licence!bon avantage!
Donc moi comme je te le disai j'ai changé de projet dans le sens ou je pense avoir raté mes exam donc certainement pas de diplôme, donc si c'est le cas, je souhaite partir quand même en angleterre en septembre mais plus que pour 6 mois car je devrais revenir pour repasser les exam en mai 2006.Et je réviserai en Angleterre.
Apprendre l'anglais c'est un rêve pour moi, donc j'irai avec ou sans dîplôme.en plus pour le cv c'est des points en plus.
Par contre je ne te conseille pas Londres si tu veux y aller car beaucoup trop de touristes donc tu trouveras pas tout le temps des anglais ce qui freineras beaucoup pour l'apprentissage de la langue.
Et toi as tu des infos, par exemple connais tu un bon organisme pour nous aider a touver logement, travail...?

A moins de nouveaute qui me sont inconnues, la deuxieme annee de DUT devrait se passer en france, par contre, tu peux faire un post DUT en langues etrangere, en clair une deuxieme annee en universite anglaise (erasmus)...le but etant d'apprendre a etudier dans une langue etrangere donc, bien sur que les cours sont en anglais.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
