Nous sommes 3 et nous aimerions partir vivre en collocation, quelques mois en Angleterre, à Brighton.
J'aurais aimé savoir si une personne ayant vécu cette expérience, pourrait nous renseigner, nous donner des conseils, des adresses ou tout ce qui pourrait nous être utile!
J'ai aussi un ptit chien..auriez-vous là aussi des renseignements à me donner?
J'ai parcouru un peu les forums, mais je n'ai pas trouvé (ou réussi à trouver) concrètement ce que je souhaitais.
Nous avons tous les 3 des professions pouvant être exercées à l'étranger mais je pense qu'au début, nous allons devoir commencer par des ptits jobs! Et puis pour rencontrer du monde, c'est sympa aussi!

Deja pour commencer, vous pouvez aller vois sur www.gumtree.com pour essayer de trouver un logement. A mon avis, a trois, ca ne va pas etre facile, facile, d'autant plus que Brighton est une ville universitaire.
Secondo, il faudrait preparer vos CVs en anglais ainsi que reviser votre anglais en regardant des films en VO ou en essayant de lire en anglais le plus possible.
Pour rencontrer du monde, ca ne devrait pas etre un probleme sur Brighton, il y a une atmosphere tres jeune et dynamique, , , mais au cas ou, vous pouvez aller jeter un coup d'oeil sur les forums suivants: www.bonjourlondres.com, www.ici-londres.com, www.destinationlondres.com, www.caplondon.com.
Ils sont animes par des francophones residents au Royaume Uni et devraient pouvoir repondre a vos questions.
Par contre pour le petit chien, desolee, mais oublie.
D'une part, il y a tous les papiers et les vaccinations a faire et c'est un vrai cauchemar. Secondo, les gens ne louent pas a des personnes qui ont des animaux...et c'est la verite pure ! Tu n'as qu'a aller regarder sur les forums et tu verras que les proprietaires d'animaux ont vraiment des soucis pour trouver un logement.
Peut etre pourriez vous louer un appart a vous trois mais dans ce cas, ce sera un loyer plus eleve qu'une coloc et des frais d'agences et un ou deux mois de caution.
Ne crois surtout pas que je n'aime pas les animaux (j'ai un chat), mais c'est la croix et la banniere pour pouvoir l'amener ici et surtout pour se loger.
et bien pour la coloc j'y connais rien.
Pour les chiens et les chats la procédure n'est pas trop simple il faut s'y prendre à l'avance.
EN effet en plus d'avoir des animaux pucés, il faut les faire vacciner contre la rage et c'est la que ça ce complique.
Suite au vaccin il faut faire une prise de sang puis une autre 6 mois plus tard pour voir si le vaccin est 100% actif...
Pour finir et ça pour tous les animaux il faut 24à 48h avant son départ faire vermifuger et traiter contre puces et tiques les loulou (attention le stronghold n'est pas reconnu) je ne pourrais pas vous donner le nom des molécules je sais plus.
ATTENTION: c'est n'est pas 23h ou 49 h avant pour une heure vous pouvez vous faire recaler.

My name is Deborah, I’m French. I’m married and have two children. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology, and I’m also pursuing medical studies.
For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. I know the journey is demanding (USMLE, residency, fellowship, etc.), but I’m ready to commit to several years of hard work.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
