je part bientôt a Londres pour approfondir la langue pendant plusieurs mois, ceci dit je m’apprête a emporter le formulaire U2 avec moi pour percevoir mes allocations française a Londres, ceci dit malgré la possibilité proposé par le pôle emploi de pouvoir s"inscrire dans un délai de 7 jours dans un center job, ne serait pas applicable par le job center qui ne veulent apparemment rien entendre a ce sujet.
Je ne connais a ce jour personne qui aie reussi a toucher ses allocations francaises ici.

Tu sais, ce n'est pas la premiere personne a poser la question. Ayant droit au chomage en France, les gens pensent que comme la Grande Bretagne fait partie du marche commun, ils beneficieront egalement de ces aides dans d'autre pays. L'ANPE d'ailleurs, leur dit qu'il faut emmener un certain formulaire (excuse-moi, je ne me souviens plus du numero) qui leur permettra de toucher les ASSEDIC ici en attendant de trouver du travail. Malheureusement la realite ne correspond pas a cela. Les aides en Grande Bretagne sont tres reduite et limitees a 6 mois.
Ca ne veut pas dire automatiquement que ces personnes refusent de travailler. Elles viennent ici pour bosser et ont deja travaille en France (puisqu'elles beneficient du chomage). Elles viennent pour travailler et ameliorer leur anglais (ce qui est tout a fait louable) en esperant que cela leur donnera un certain avantage sur le marche de l'emploi de retour en France (ce qui est certain).
Mais le temps de s'installer, trouver un logement et un emploi, elles auront besoin d'une certaine somme (Londres et le Royaume Uni en general sont tres cher). Il faut compter 400 livres par mois pour vivre en colocation plus un mois de caution. Les transports sont hors de prix (les plus chers en Europe).
J'ai connu des gens qui faisaient pire et continuaient a pointer en France (en rentrant regulierement) et travaillaient ici.
La difference entre les regimes sociaux anglais et francais, c'est un gouffre !

Tu veux dire que lorsqu'un chômeur d'un pays de l'UE part dans un autre pays de l'UE, il touchera les indemnités du pays d'accueil et non pas du pays d'origine ? Si tel est le cas, je comprends que les chômeurs français se font des illusions quand ils débarquent par ex en GB. ;). Dans ce cas, je leur déconseille vivement de venir ici puisque seuls 20% des chômeurs sont indeminisés et seulement à hauteur d'environ 100 euros/mois pendant 6, 12 ou 18 mois, selon taux de chômage de la région alors chômeurs de France, ne venez absolument pas en Pologne ! 😉
Pour bénéficier des aides, il faut aller en Scandinavie ou ... Nouvelle-Zélande ! Ailleurs, c'est "marche ou crève" et il faut que les Français qui pensent qu'ailleurs c'est toujours mieux le sachent.

J'ai l'impression que la plupart des Français ne le savent pas et quand ils partent par ex en GB, ils pensent qu'ils vont toucher leurs assedics françaises + APL + sécu française + autres aides alors que dans 98% des pays, l'"aide" sociale n'est pas plus que symbolique.

J'ai donne la reponse a ta question. Le Pole Emploi peut te raconter ce qu'il veut... ils s'en foutent, ils ne vivent pas ici et tu ne vas pas leur faire un proces pour information incorrecte. Ensuite celui qui va se retrouver dans la panade sur le trottoir de Londres, c'est toi, pas eux.
Je n'ai jamais vu un seul francais pouvoir toucher ses allocations chomage en Angleterre, et je connais beaucoup de francais sur Londres vu que j'y vis depuis vingt ans.

Bien sûr qu'il est possible d'exporter ses allocations françaises au Royaume-Uni, comme dans n'importe quel autre pays de l'UE (pendant trois mois maximum, avec éventuelle prolongation de max trois mois, à condition de s'inscrire au job center et de rechercher du travail à la fois selon les règles françaises et britanniques)
je remonte ce topic qui date. Mon mari a obtenu un poste à Londres. Je suis actuellement au chômage et j'espère évidemment trouver du travail là bas. J'aimerais savoir s'il est bien possible de toucher les 3 premiers mois d'indemnités Pole Emploi en Angleterre comme c'est le cas dans les autres pays de l'UE ? (je connais quelqu'un qui est parti en Suède et il a pu toucher ces 3 premiers mois de séjour ses indemnités).
Je ne cherche pas à profiter du système, juste à savoir si j'aurai bien droit à cette sécurité les premiers temps de mon séjour avant de trouver quelque chose.
