savez vous combien ca gagne avec les tips?
quels sont les villes les plus interessante pour ce faire de l'argent, parceque londres c bien mais le loyer, meme en coloc je crois que c cher quand meme, liverpool peut etre ?? ou l'irlande l'ecosse
en fait il faudrai pour moi que je puisse economiser pas mal tout en ameliorant moi anglais

En Angleterre comme en Irlande, tu vas certainement améliorer ton Anglais, mais pour ce qui est de faire fortune en travaillant dans les restaurants, hôtels et autres, oublie.
Après le loyer et les repas, tu vas peut-être avoir assez pour quelques pints au pub du coin mais guère plus.

Je t'explique en deux mots. Les Anglais trouvent plutôt dégradant pour leur personne le travail de serveur. Chacun sa culture. Résultat: une écrasante majorité des emplois dans ce secteur est dévolue aux étrangers ou encore aux étudiants (et même aux étudiants étrangers...).
De plus, il y a de moins en moins de travail, dans ce secteur (comme dans les autres) auparavant "réservé" aux Français, Italiens et Espagnols. L'élargissement de l'Union Européenne a permis aux Polonnais, Slovaques, Tcheques et Hongrois de trouver un environnement économiquement plus favorable. Le coût de la vie ayant augmenté et non les salaires, cela revient à dire que les salaires ont baissé.
Si des centaines de miliers d'Anglais partent pour d'autres pays et que des milions souhaitent en faire autant, c'est pas seulement à cause du mauvais temps (suportable même pour un type du sud comme moi), mais bien à cause du coût de la vie.
Enfin, tu peux toujours trouver une place de gérant comme tu le souhaites, mais là il faudra déjà maitriser la langue. C'est le minimum et c'est bien normal. Et, si tu viens, entre autres, pour améliorer ton Anglais, je supose que ce n'est pas le cas.
Perso, il y a quelques années j'ai travaillé en Angleterre dans le but d'apprendre l'Anglais et de vivre une belle expérience en rencontrant des gens du monde entier. C'est fait. Je recommande l'expérience à tout le monde pour cela. De là à s'y installer pour y monter une affaire, jamais de la vie.

En fait ca serait pour travailler pour un couple de francais qui vienne juste d'ouvrir une affaire pas tres loin d'oxford, en tant que responsable du bar et sommelier et à la fois. Leur concept etant pub et resto semi gastro le soir avec b&b et salle de reception puisque pas mal d'entreprise et labo sont dans le secteur. Etant donné que c le genre d'affaire que je souhaiteais monter, mais pas en angleterre evidemment, je me demande si ca valait la peine de voir par la meme comment il gerait son affaire durant 6 mois a 1 an, l'histoire de voir et par la meme de mettre un peu de coté pour faire de meme ailleurs, et ameliorer mon anglais par la meme.
Vu ta remarque et mon experience professionnelle, il semblerait que je puisse au moins exiger des conditions salariale decente, puisque lui ne trouve pas son compte avec les serveur du coins, et puis si cela ne lui plait pas, apres tout je vais pas m'expatrier pour ses beau yeux, du travail il y en a en France, mais c'etait juste une idée comme une autre. Tu vois je reve de NYC et on me propose NYC a 2000/mois etant que prof, mais j'ai refusé, je suis pas dupe quand meme à ce point.......
Si tu connais les propriétaires c'est une autre histoire.
Mais encore une fois, dans ce genre de plans, tu vivras peut-être bien mais je ne pense pas que tu arrives à mettre de l'argent de côté. Tente le coup pour quelques mois. Je pense aussi que c'est un passage obligé pour apprendre la langue et ensuite s'installer ailleurs...

🙂 l'Anglais, l'expérience de travail dans un environnement anglophone, l'expérience de la gestion d'une structure que tu souhaites "copier".

J'ai 28 ans je suis maitre d'hôtel depuis 5 ans, j'ai fais l'école hôtellière, j'ai bossé dans des très grands établissements parisien, étoiles, macarons.....Je ne parle pas anglais courament !
Il y a l'anglais de base + le vocabulaire service et il y a l'anglais courant !
Dans le dernier cas, je connais très peu de personnes maitrisant parfaitement l'anglais !
Même des responsables de restauration !
ps : il ya aussi des personnes de 40 balais, maitre d'hôtel, parlant courament anglais, et qui sont des bras cassés au boulot ! 😏

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
