Ayant comme projet de partir au Royaume-Uni (minimum 1 an), je souhaitai en savoir plus sur les conditions réelles du marché de l'emploi à Londres et en Irlande.
J'ai pu lire à plusieurs reprises qu'il y a beaucoup de difficultés en Irlande (www.langtra.com a même suspendu leur programme), en est-il de même à Londres ?
J'avoue avoir un peu de mal à me faire une idée de la situation, donc si des personnes vivant sur place pouvaient m'éclairer, je lui en serais gré.
Mes compétences se trouvent surtout dans le domaine de l'informatique, ce secteur est-il un peu moins épargné ? Quels sont les meilleurs secteurs ? et surtout que choisir entre L'Irlande et Londres ?
Comme Nemo l'a bien dit, nous sommes touches tres durement (je te parle du Royaume Uni, je ne sais pas pour l'Irlande.
De plus les loyers et les transports sont hors de prix.
Va jeter un coup d'oeil sur les sites suivants mais certains de mes amis qui sont ici depuis des annees sont en recherche et ne trouvent rien.

je confirme, la difficulte de trouver des taf en UK , le fait de choisir londres, t'offre pt etre plus d'opportunites (a confirmer) mais sache que si tu galeres a Londres pr trouver un taf , tes ecos vont partir en fumee vu le coup de la vie de cette ville qui est plus elevee qu a Paris.
pt etre choisis une autre ville, plus petite moins chere, Bristol a bonne reputation et c est sympa, y a pas mal d'entreprises, Manchester a pr reput' d 'etre de mieux en mieux et en terme de prix ca reste une bonne moyenne, Birmingham, c est centrale, y a de tt, c est pas cher mais c est pas tres jolie, mais interessant, apres il y en a pleins d'autres.
l'informatique reste encore un domaine privilegie, enfin ca depend quoi ds l'info , c est qd meme large... mais disons que tu auras plus de chances que qquns ss qualif ou un petit job.

En faite étant donné que je ne suis pas bilingue, je pense avoir beaucoup de mal à trouver dans ma branche, c'est pour cela que je compte d'abord essayer de trouver un petit boulot (afin de maitrise un minimum la langue) et puis ensuite chercher dans mon domaine d'activité.

pour t'aider un peu, mon ami avait un niveau scolaire qd il est arrive ici, il a galere c est clair, ce qu'il a fait il a bcp regarde de films en anglais au debut ss titre en francais et petit a petit il a retire les ss titres, ca a ete un accro de la BBC radio sur internet, avec tjs un dico en main; ici pr les gens ss taf tu peux avoir droit a des cours gratos d 'anglais avec la ville, ca doit se faire un peu partt, bon le niveau laisse a desirer mais bon c deja ca!!! il a cherche un vrai taf d'inge avec ce niveau la; il a mis du temps a le trouver les premiers entretiens , ont ete dur dur mais avec de la patience et de la tenacite il y est arrive!! et ses progres en qques mois ont ete impressionants; le fait est qu il a pas eu le choix de se faire comprendre et de comprendre, en plus on parle francais a la maison alors ca l a pas aide 😮
et puis bilingue tu l es jamais vraiment, enfin si tu restes 20 ans et que tu te maries avec une anglaise qui parle pas un mot de francais, la oui....
