J'ai 21 ans, et je m'apprête à faire un stage de 6mois à New Delhi. Je vais travailler au India Habitat Center (souvent signalé sur les cartes) sur Lodi Road (quartier Sud de Delhi).
J'ai lu avec grand intérêt tous les sujets du forum sur Delhi, mais je fourmille encore de questions!!
- logement : connaissez vous des sites internet /bons plans pour trouver des colocations ?
Des amis indiens m'ont dit que les indiens ne faisaient pas de colocs, je recherche donc des colocs type erasmus (si possible avec des personnes non francophones), dans south delhi.
- nourriture : quel type de nourriture peut-on trouver à cuisiner ?
Lors de mon dernier séjour en inde, j'ai perdu 5kg en deux semaines car je ne supporte pas ce qui pique (même pas les boissons gazeuses!). J'adore cependant la nourriture du nord (poulet tikka, cheese naan) et j'ai hate d'apprendre à cuisiner des plats indiens.
- vêtements : comment s'habiller pour travailler dans une (grande) entreprise ?
Je compte m'habiller local, j'ai vu des sujets très intéressants sur le thème. Petite question : lave-t-on ces tenues dans des laveries ou faut-il prévoir de la lessive pour laver à la main ?
- transports : certains sujets de forum sont terrifiants (on se demande même comment les gens reviennent vivant de delhi !) : bus, rickshaw, métro ? Que conseillez-vous ?
- visites : que peut-on visiter autour de delhi le temps d'un week end, et surement seule ?
Je veux découvrir au maximum l'Inde du Nord mais comme je travaille je n'aurais que des WE.
- photos : faut-il un appareil "discret" ? Je suis très enthousiaste et je voudrais m'acheter un appareil de qualité pour prendre de belles photos, mais j'ai peur de la taille trop genante.
- quels produits trouve-t-on difficilement en Inde et donc sont à amener de France (moustiquaire, produits hygièniques etc) ? Quel sont les indispensables dans une valise ?

Je suis impatiente de passer ces six mois en inde, mais l'inconnu de la situation me stresse aussi!
Je te recommande vivement d'aller sur le site delhi-accueil, tu y trouveras une foule de renseignements pratiques qui répondront à la plupart de tes questions. Quant à ta valise, on trouve pratiquement de tout à N-D, inutile de t'encombrer de paquets de lessive et autres produits. Le seul pb, c'est de savoir où est quoi, c'est là que le site Delhi-Accueil devient vraiment pratique.

Logement :-Je te conseille le site http://www.franceinindia.com/forum/ et je suis étudiant francais qui etudie à l'alliance francaise donc j'ai bcp mes amis qui sont francais et habiter sud de delhi où Indian Habitat centre est situé en Inde.
Un des mes amis vont partir en France parce que ils finisse son etudes et laisser appartment.
Nourriture:-Tu vas y trouver poullet , tikka, cheese, naan, lentilles, potato, corriandre, ca depend la restaurant pique ou pas.
Vetements:-depend entreprise et pour la ville Delhi est une tres touristique et moderne ville ce que tu prefere tu peux l'habiller.(Il faut fasse attention depend la quartier)
Pour laver les lessive ca depend ton appartment s'il ya la machine ou pas pour lessive.
Transport:- Il ya tout sorte de transfort.
Bus(La service est bon de bus est moins chere que l'autres transport comme le billets de bus 05 Rupees si tu prends Tuk-Tuk ca coute vers 60 Rupees(pour les blanche ils demande plus que 60 ca depends),
Car(ca coute bcp )
Rickshaw(TUK -TUK)(c'est bien )
Tu vas trouver la transport partout en chaque coin.
VISITE:- Bien sure tu peux visiter l'inde ton weknd

Quel est le coût moyen d'un mois sur place (tout compris: logement, nourriture, transports, sorties/voyages, communication) pour une vie relativement calme et modeste (pas de dépenses immodérées - je ne bois pas d'alcool, ne fume pas et suis végétarien ^^).
Est-il conseillé de partir avec son ordinateur portable? Comment s'assurer d'une connexion internet (le wifi serait très apprécié) dans un appartement? Avez-vous des infos concernant les opérateurs de télécommunication ('mobiles', etc.)?
Qu'en est-il des logements? Je suis tout à fait disposé à m'intéger à une colocation mais est-ce que ce concept existe également à N-D? Quels sont les prix moyens d'une chambre/ d'un appart?
