Pour Londres ce serait plus facile, car je pourrais passer pas une agence qui me trouverait mon appart, et ferait toutes les démarches administratives. Mais il faut savoir mettre le prix, et ça me flingue mon budget de départ !
Mais faut avouer que l'Irlande, j'en rêve depuis toute petite. J'aimerais savoir si il y a quelque personnes sur ce forum qui auraient des plans pour partir soit à Londres, soit à Dublin. J'aimerais être en collocation histoire que ce soit plus sympa ! Que dire d'autre, je suis archinul en anglais c'est pour ça que je veux partir, le BTS que je veux commencer en septembre me demande d'être limite bilingue. Ensuite je veux partir fin Mars grand maxi. Aussi que j'ai 90% de chance d'avoir un job assuré n'importe ou que j'aille car je passe par mon boulot (Mcdo) !

Londres est une mégalopole de 1O millions d'hab, Dublin une petite capitale plutôt tranquille.

Londres c'est la ville la plus peuplé d'Europe mais elle est aussi remplie de Français, ce qui n'est pas forcément une bonne chose quand on veut progresser en anglais que ce soit des résidents ou des touristes. De plus les logements sont très chers à Londres, plus qu'à Paris !
Dublin n'est pas super cheap pour autant ça reste une grande ville qui s'est bien développée ces dernières années, mais pour le logement ce sera déjà moins cher et tu réduiras tes temps de transport (élevés à Londres). Tu n'auras pas trop l'impression de mégalopole comme à Londres.
Tout dépend ce que tu recherches, a city that never sleeps, ou ... ? Qu'est-ce qui te motive le plus?
Mais tes recherches ne s'arrêtent-elles qu'à ces 2 capitales?
Par exemple Newcastle en Angleterre, est la ville la plus abordable du pays pour un étudiant, les loyers sont parmis les moins chers. Et je suis prêt à parier qu'il y a un McDo là-bas^^
Moi je te conseille Dublin, après ça dépend que quelle genre de vie tu veux, mais Londres pour moi par exemple c'est 10 000x trop grand (et trop cher), Dublin reste une ville à taille humaine, mais très vivante, et tu trouvera un job facilement (surtout si tu es pistonné par ton employeur en France), et financièrement ça reste moins cher que Londres (au niveau des loyers, pas de la nourriture et autres par contre je pense)
Je pars à Dublin mi mars, un peu à l’arrache mais un job m'attend là-bas fin Mars. Si tu as d'autre question (et que tu choisie Dublin ;), n'hésite pas à m'envoyer un message ).

Après moultes recherches Londres semble hors de prix surtout avec l'arrivé des jeux olympiques de 2012 c'est l'horreur !

Pour l'accent, d'abord les anglophones ne sont pas aussi snobs que les Français dans l'ensemble, l'idée qu'il y a un "accent pur" est un reste de colonisation mais culturellement ça remonte à François 1er en France, alors qu'au RU plus que l'accent en tant que géographie c'est l'accent en tant que classe sociale, et comme à ton école on ne t'apprendra pas à parler avec l'accent péquenot ou l'accent des "quartiers", tu ne risques rien; ensuite, un accent irlandais est 100 fois préférable à un accent français :))). Il y a même des entreprises françaises ou internationales qui préfèrent une variété d'accents chez leurs employés ayant un poste à responsabilité (wrt clients).
Je vais me jetter à l'eau et essayer de partir avant le 17 Mars pour pouvoir assister à la Saint Patrick !! Donc je me bouge pour que tout puisse être fait avant !

J'ai moi-même hésité entre ces deux villes et finalement j'ai choisi Londres.
C'est vrai que j'aurai préféré aller à Dublin parce l'Irlande est un rêve pour moi depuis longtemps, comme pour toi d'ailleurs.
J'ai choisi l'Angleterre parce que je connaissais du monde déjà, mais aussi parce que pour le boulot c'est plus facile. Le chômage est très élevé en Irlande mais après si tu peux être aidée par ton employeur actuel profites-en! L'Irlande ça doit être magique.
Finalement Londres est un ville super où tout est possible! Je pense aussi qu'avec les jeux olympiques tout va être encore plus cher. Certaines choses augmentent déjà maintenant et vont sûrement augmenter avant les JO...
