Une amie projette de faire son voyage de noce au Apavou Indian Resort sur l'Ile Maurice.
D'après le site de cet hotel, tout a l'air parfait.
Nous avons lu quelques commentaires sur le forum mais rien de récent. Quelqu'un peut il me confirmer que c'est l'endroit idéal pour passer 15 jours de rêve (en juillet 2007), pour se faire dorloter, masser (au spa) et autres....
je pars fin mars à l'indian resort, il est vrai qu'il y a tres peu de commentaires recents sur cet hotel mais le peu de commentaires etait assez positif, je pourrais commenter quand je rentrerais)))😛
j'arrive aujourd'hui de maurice et de l'indian resort!
alors pour l'hotel rien n'a dire franchement, bonne restauration, personnel adorable, grande chambre, j'etais en standard marine au deuxieme etage, je conseillerais plutot les rdc car vue sur la mer, au deuxieme j'avais la vue sur les palmiers et une petite echappee au niveau mer...🏴☠️
le spa est super, j'ai fais un forfait massage et vraiment le top!!! en plus il y a une super piscine au spa, avec hammam, sauna jacuzzi😛
pour la plage, il ne faut pas s'attendre à un lagon plat comme une piscine car je l'ai su à mes"depends" c la cote la pluss ventee, donc vent du matin au soir, et j'avoue que c'est un peu penible, voir saoulant!! donc forcemment la mer n'est pas calme!!! avec des petits courant mais bon cela n'empeche pas de nager mais pour faire de la plongee avec masque et tuba, pas terrible car on ne voit rien!!
en conclusion, c'est un tres bon hotel mais c tres cher, du genre l'eau minerale à 3 euros, plein de petites choses comme ça!! donc ça greffe tres vite le budget!
on a vite compris le truc donc à midi on mangeait sur la plage, on achetait des paninis à60roupis cad pour un euros 50 et la bouteille d'eau etait à 40 roupis en gros moins d'un euros..
au resto de la plage de l'hotel, il n'accepte pas les roupis, ex le mm panini avec une bouteille d'eau ça faisait 11euros..
voilà si vous avez besoin d'autres infos, pas de pbs
ne changez pas votre argent à l'hotel car pas rentable au niveau du taux de change, faites le plutot avec les petits vendeurs sur la plage, c plus honnete au niveau taux de change!!
je suis allé ces 3 dernières années à l'indian Resort en juillet /aout donc je connais un peu ...
plusieurs choses à savoir :
en juillet /aout à Maurice c'est l'hiver ... et il ne fait pas tous les jours super beau et chaud ! entre 18° et 25 maxi ...
en + au morne il y a beaucoup de vent /entre force 3et 6 / c'est pour celà que j'y vais ! je fais du fun bord et du kite surf
donc impossible de rester sur la plage car il fait relativement froid
mais si votre amie n'est pas adepte des sports de glisse : eviter l'indian resort ; sincèrement, il y a mieux sur l'ile et moins cher
surtout que depuis 3 ans la qualité baisse d'année en année à l'indian ! la nourriture est moins bonne, les chambre viellissent surtout celle du RDC (à éviter).
la seule chose vraiment bien c'est le spa ... et la gentillesse du personnel (mais pas trop de la direction ...)
si elle peut, il vaut mieux avancer ou reculer de plusieurs mois le voyage (meilleure saison de novembre à mars)
sinon aller sur la cote non exposée au vent (la cote ouest : flic en flac ou grand baie ) car le vent est un vent d'est donc elle sera protègée elle aura moins froid .

Le voyage de noce de mon amie dans cet hotel c'est très bien passé, surtout qu'ils ont eu l'agréable surprise de bénéficier gratuitement du all inclusive pendant 15 jours (quinzaine promotionnelle) 🙂. L'autre bonne surprise pour lui, qui pratique le fun bord, c'est d'avoir pu louer du matos 😎 (au grand désespoir de madame qui pensait avoir enfin son homme pour elle toute seule pendant 15 jours.....😠).
Ils ont profité du spa et des soins mais ont aussi fait pas mal de sorties.
Bref ils sont rentrés enchantés.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
