Nous partons le 11/09 pour 15 jrs à cet hotel, j'aurais aimé connaitre les sites incontournables depuis cet hôtel (voire les excursions proposées par l'hôtel qui sont sympa). Nous avons préfèré prendre le séjour uniquement à l'hôtel plutôt que le combiné circuit pour nous déplacer comme nous le voulons et quand nous le voulons. Faites moi partager votre expérience à tous les niveaux !!!
Si d'autres sont présents à ce moment là et désirent bouger comme nous depuis l'hôtel faites-le nous savoir, on peut s'organiser ça !! 😉

Je suis allé a l'Akumal beach en septembre dernier et deja je peux te dire que tu seras pas déçu de l'hotel.... excellent choix !
Quant aux excursions tout depend des tes gouts, de ce que tu recherches .
Pour ma part j'en ai fais 2. L'aventure quad et le site de chitzen Itza.
Je pense que pour le site de Chitzen Itza c'est un incontournable, à voir absolument c'est magnifique.
Quand à l'excursion en quad tu pars en jungle, coté sensation c'est geniale et question aventure c'est pas mal non plus, avec rencontre de divers animaux, plus exploration de cenoté qui est a couper le souffle.
Ensuite je sais que tu as Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Tulum que je n'ai pas pu faire mais qui valent le coup d'apres ce que j'ai pu entendre sur place.
Pour résumé tu n'aura que l'embaras du choix niveau excursion, apres tout depend ce que tu recherche.
Pour ma part, j'ai choisi les excursions via mon tour operateur mais en effet l'hotel propose egalement ces excursions, les prix se valent.
La difference c'est qu'avec le tour operateur nous etions qu'avec des français, donc pas besoin de traduction en plusieurs langues pendant l'excursion.
Pour aller à Tulum, on va se débrouiller par nos propres moyens "collectivo", cela ne me pose pas de pb ji cause un peu l'espagnol 🙂.
Pour Chitzen Itza c'est autre chose car cela fait loin de l'hôtel mais une chose est sure c'est qu'on va faire Tulum et Chitzen Itza. Combien as-tu payé pour l'excursion à Chitzen Itza ?
Le quad me plairait mais la patronne ne sera pas du même avis😕.
Sinon questions classiques, que me conseilles-tu de prendre pesos ou dollar ? ou vaut mieux retirer sur place ; et la météo cela a été pour toi en septembre pas trop de pluies l'an dernier on était en R.D. en septembre on a jonglé entre les cyclones 🏴☠️ mais très peu de pluies.

Pour l'excursion a chitzen Itza je me souviens plus trop combien j'ai payé il me semblait que c'etait a hauteur de 60 euros. ( mais bon y'a quand meme 2 heures aller de bus et donc 2 hrs retour...assez pénible d'ailleurs le trajet)
Pour ma part je me suis rendu au Mexique avec des dollars, je me suis pas servi d'euro. Mais tu n'aura aucun probleme de change une fois sur place aussi bien en dollar qu'en euro, mais je reste dans l'optique que le change (euro/dollar) en france est plus avantageux.
Et pour la météo nous avons eu tres beau temps et surtout tres tres chaud. Hormis deux ou trois averses en 15 jours ce qui est tres raisonnable cependant nous avons été egalement chahuté les 2 derniers jours pas le fameux cyclone "Ivan"...mais ça personne ne peut le prevoir.

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
