Hi Vfpromeneur, I watched the Ouigo train video with interest because I’m trying to figure out how to travel from Paris to Marseille or Montpellier with non-dismantled bikes by train... and it’s a total flop!!! Can’t find any trains that offer the bike-on-board option! It’s so complicated between SNCF-CONNECT, OUIGO, and TER INTERCITÉS!!! Nothing is simple! I want to take my teens on a bike trip to the Camargue with their cousins, but I’ll have to start planning way ahead to sort out bike transport!!! I’m glad I found VoyageForum to get some tips! I’ll start a discussion on this topic since I haven’t found any answers yet. Thanks for the video! !

I did a quick search. I’d recommend using city names instead of station names for Paris and Marseille. You’ll have more train options.

You’ll see you’ve got direct overnight trains and daytime trains with 1 or 2 connections.

Thanks. But I’ve been searching for solutions for a good 2 hours now!! I think I’ll head to the station to find a real agent who can help me because I just can’t figure it out!!!! It’s lucky they ask us every day to stop using cars and use public transport and bikes instead!!!! 😄 That’s really funny!!!! I want to take my kids and their cousins on a week-long bike trip in the Camargue, and I can’t afford to book train tickets to get down there if I’m not sure that on the day (July) I’ll actually have spots for our bikes. I’m really surprised at how hard it is to book bike spaces on trains these days!
