1- Un meublé sera très cher, environs 2000$/mois. Les locations sont souvent des courtes durées, donc renouvelable au mois. Ou vous pouvez être chanceux et tomber sur quelqu'un qui quitte pour 1 an et désire sous-louer son appartement.
2- Ça dépend de vos intérêts, budget, lieu de travail de votre conjoint, si le transport en commun est important. Si vous n'avez pas de voiture, le premier critère sera probablement dépendant du lieu de travail de votre mari et des moyens de transport qui s'y rendent.
3- 31% pour un revenu de 30 000$, en plus des côtisations à l'assurance-Emploi, Assurance parentale et la Régie des Rentes, mais sans compter les divers crédits pour enfants, retour de taxes, etc. 30 000$ pour une famille avec un enfant dans la région de Montréal, ce n'est pas beaucoup.
4- L'école est gratuite jusqu'au Cégep (fin des études secondaires, vers 17 ans)
5- Le régime de base est gratuit. Si votre mari a une assurance collective avec son emploi, les cotisations varient beaucoup d'un employeur à l'autre.

Il me semble que 2000$ soit exagéré.
Peut etre ce type de logements dans certains quartiers comme le plateau peut se louer a ce prix mais voici un conseil.
Allez sur le site de kijiji montreal ou encore celui de lespac et regardez pour ce qui est proche du transport en commun, les stations de metro par exemple.
Vous pourrez choisir alors: longueuil, montreal ou laval.
Partir du metro montmorency a laval pour le centre-ville, il en prend environ 20 minutes.
Si vous avez l'intention d'avoir eventuellement une voiture, oubliez la rive-sud. Il y a trop de travaux, vous serez en tout temps dans la circulation.
Dites-nous ce que vous recherchez comme quartier, nous pourrons vous guider.
J'ai fait une recherche rapide sur internet, et 2000$, ça semble le prix moyen à Montréal pour un appartement 2 chambres tout meublés. Mais comme je n'ai pas regardé longtemps, je n'ai rien trouvé en banlieu de tout meublé, ce qui serait moins cher. Ce serait beaucoup moins cher si ce n'était pas un meublé, car les meublés ne sont pas monnaie courante.

J'imagine (je me fis sur certains copains qui ont habité Paris) que le prix des logements est le même pour le centre-ville de Montréal qu'en banlieu de Paris. Donc la banlieu de Montréal devrait quand même être moins chères que celle de Paris. Mais vous aurez de bien meilleurs prix si vous prenez un logement semi-meublé (poêle, réfrigérateur) que complèment meublé. Vous aurez également plus de choix.

Ça me semble assez réaliste pour un logement meublé situé sur l'île de Montréal, surtout si c'est un 4½.
À savoir que les logements meublés sont beaucoup plus rares aussi...cette famille devrait plutôt se meubler elle-même.

30 000$ ou même 40 000$ CAD est un salaire assez bas pour faire vivre 3 personnes...à savoir qu'il s'agit d'un revenu brut (donc avant impôt, voir le message de Gigi). J'encouragerais votre mari à négocier son salaire à la hausse...

Non, la maternelle est gratuite, à moins que vous choisissiez une école privée. Attention: je dis gratuit mais l'école exige des frais pour beaucoup de choses: pour le service de garde le midi, les activités, etc.
L'assurance santé est-elle élevée ?
Cela dépend de votre statut, votre mari vient immigrer (résidence permanente) ou est-ce un séjour temporaire avec un permis de travail? Car selon le cas, vous aurez accès à la RAMQ (soins publics).
à savoir que dans tous les cas, au Canada les soins dentaires et pour les yeux ne sont pas considérés comme des soins de santé et ne sont pas couvert par le régime public. Donc il faudra souscrire à une assurance à moins que l'employeur de Monsieur en offre une à son employé.

Je t'expliques : mon ami peut trouver du travail en infographie à Montréal ou Vancouvert ou même à Londres, du coup,
en attendant qu'il ait une réponse positive, nous voulons avoir le plus de renseignements possibles, comme ca, dès qu'il à une réponse, on saura si c'est possible d'aller la-bas en fonction du budget. J'espère que cela ne vous pose pas de problème car sans avoir les infos sur le budget, on ne pourra pas prendre de décision si il a une réponse positive.
