Tout d'abord bonjour à tous,
Je me présente, Je m'appelle William, j'ai 17ans et suis étudiant en terminale Scientifique en France dans la région centre.
Avec ma copine, nous vivons dans le même but, partir au mois d'août prochain à Montréal et poursuivre nos études dans cette magnifique ville (il paraît car je n'y suis jamais allé). Le goût de l'aventure, et cette ville nous attire tant !
Or j'ai beaucoup de mal avec tout les papiers (CAQ, visa, permis d'étude, ...) et j'aurais voulu savoir si quelques uns d'entre vous pourraient m'aider.
Je souhaite intégrer la Faculté de Médecine de l'Université de Montréal pour le trimestre d'automne 2010, et celà jusqu'à la fin de mes études, mais j'ai peur de ne pas être pris malgrès mes notes pas trop catastrophiques (environ 13 de moyenne en physiques chimie et svt et 14 en maths), je sais que je ne serais pas le meilleurs et la concurrence est rude, peut-être l'un de vous étudie là bas et pourrait me renseigner, je tente ma chance.
De plus, je suis l'aîné d'une famille de 4 enfants mono-parentale, ma mère est ouvrière, conclusion, je ne roule pas sur l'or, et le Québec n'ouvre pas ses portes facilement, je compte donc demander un crédit étudiant, mais je ne sais pas si celà peut suffire, ...
J'ai également quelques problèmes sur l'ordre des papiers, je pense qu'il faut que je commence par le passeport, puis par la demande à la FAC, puis par le CAQ et ensuite visa et permis d'étude, mais je ne suis pas sûr et je profite des vacances pour boucler celà dans ma tête afin de pouvoir réussir ma dernière année de lycée. Tu enlèves le visa (pas besoin pour les français) et c'est bon.
Donc passeport + CAQ + permis d'étude
Moi non plus je ne roule pas sur l'or. Maman qui ne travaille pas, papa ouvrier ... J'ai travaillé tous les été à l'usine et cette année dans un collège pour avoir les 11 000$ + frais de scolarité demandés pour l'obtention du permis d'étude.
Je travaillerai sur place pour subvenir à mes besoins et éviter de m'endetter.
Fais une bonne terminale pour mettre toutes les chances de ton côté. Une mention au bac te sera indispensable pour espérer intégrer la fac de médecine, bien que ça ne te l'assure pas.
Donc même si je parts plus de 6 mois pas besoin de visas ?
Le problème c'est que je n'ai que 17 ans et qu'il est difficile de trouver un boulot en dessous de la majorité :'(
Est-ce qu'un bon dossier peut aider même si la totalité de l'argent n'est pas là ?
Et si j'ai une lettre signée de ma mère qui dit qu'elle subviendra à tout mes besoins ?
Celà me ferait vraiment chier (excusez moi du terme) de devoir abandonner mes ambitions pour une histoire de tunes :( sinon je peut demander à notre cher président de me les payer comme sa il aura multiplié son salaire par X pour des bonnes raisons 🤪
Sinon y-a-t-il un bon système de bourses, car en France je suis boursier mais je ne sais pas si outre atlantique ce seras de même!
Et si j'ai mon BAC avec une bonne mention est-ce que la bourse donnée en tant que félicitation me seras attribuée même à l'étranger ?
Comme dit Nikky (en passant, merci pour les infos laissées sur mon blog 🙂 ), pas de bourse du côté Canadien pour les études post-bac (1er cycle)
Encore moins du côté français si tu pars hors échange (j'ai tapé à toutes les portes, je n'ai eu que des refus, nous ne sommes plus assez français et pas assez québécois) !
Ne compte donc pas sur çà pour te financer.
Si ta mère se porte garant et que vous avez un petit pécule de côté, tu as toutes tes chances. Malgré ce qui est noté sur le site de l'ambassade, il faut prouver que tu as de quoi financer ta 1ère année, et non pas toutes tes études.
Pour ton âge, au Québec j'ai vu des garçons de 14 ans chercher un petit boulot. Ce qui peut paraître choquant en France peut très bien passer de l'autre côté de l'atlantique. Et puis tu es loin d'être le premier à partir à 17 ans 😛
M'enfin, trouve toi une porte de sortie parce qu'entrer en médecine au Québec seras loin d'être évident !
Je regardais ton blog et je voulais savoir avec quelle agence as-tu trouvé un voiyage aller retours à 280€ stp celà m'arrangerais bien dans le cas ou l'UdeM voudrais me rencontrer :D
Au fait elle est comment la fac toi qui l'as vu ? xD je suis tellement pressé de découvrir Montréal ralala !
Et est-ce que vous savez s'il existe des organismes privés qui financent les études et qu'il faut rembourses une fois le diplôme en main svp ?
Pour ce qui est du travail tant mieux même si j'aurais voulu éviter de mêler au dur poids des cours des études de médecine, des heures de boulot mais on fait avec ce que l'on à 😏
Renseigne toi au niveau des banques pour le prêt mais attention il va être conséquent vu la longueur des études en médecine. Et n'oublie pas que si tu exerces au Québec et que tu as un prêt à rembourser en euros, le taux euros / $ ne seras pas en ta faveur !

Oui je pense rester au Québec ensuite mais je pense quand même à faire une sorte d'équilibration des diplômes (je ne retrouve pas le terme exact) afin de pouvoir dans telle ou telle condition revenir en France sans pb, mais je pense quand même vivre au Québec.
C'est vrai que le taux dans le sens $ / € ne me seras pas bénéfique mais je prends le crédit au nom de ma mère et je rembourserais ma mère à la fin de mes études, sans trop de problèmes (je pense).
J'ai vrément peur niveau argent ralala ça m'inquiète, d'après ce que tu m'as dit, je dois disposer de 11000$ + 2600$ (frais de scolarité pour le premier cycle) pour pouvoir entrer au Québec ? ce qui fait donc environ 8700€ nen ?

Et oui, bienvenue dans la vrai vie, là ou rien n'est facile ! La France est un pays d'assistés, ne t'attends pas à ce que tout te tombe tout cuis au Québec. Je te rappelle que tu pars en Amérique là où tout se paie !
Tu sais, j'ai passé tous mes étés à porter des cartons à l'usine et j'ai bossé un an et demi pour avoir la somme nécessaire. Je rêve du Québec depuis mes 10 ans. J'en ai 23 et je reprends tout à 0, seule.
Donc du haut de tes 17 ans tu as encore le temps de peaufiner ce projet. Si vraiment c'est ce que tu veux, prend ton mal en patience et donne toi les moyens d'y arriver !
Je m'en doute bien ne tkt pas c'est juste qu'avec les 11ans minimum d'étude qui m'attendent si je peux retarder au maximum mon entrée à la fac sa serais pas mal tu comprends je pense ;) c'est pas comme si j'avais genre 5 ans et hop xD
Contingent étranger - La Faculté admet un nombre très restreint de candidats étrangers selon le décret gouvernemental et la répartition retenue par le Comité interfacultaire d'admission en médecine du Québec. Ces candidats doivent signer un contrat qui stipule qu'ils devront assurer pendant quatre années consécutives des services médicaux dans un établissement désigné par le ministre, s'ils s'installent au Québec au terme de leur formation médicale.Vu le nombre de places offertes, bétonne ton dossier !
Et avant de t'engager comme çà sur du long terme, je te conseille de faire un voyage au Québec pour voir si çà correspond bien à l'image que tu en as. ;)

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
