Je vis en Martinique depuis 3 ans et demi. C'est une très belle île, c'est vrai que la vie y est chère mais vu l'augnmentation des prix en métropole!
L'été il y a tjs bcp de monde car bcp de touristes et de locaux qui viennent en vacances mais pas mal d'appart/maisons (non saisonniers) se libèrent.
Qt à votre projet professionnel, il faudra se renseigner mais Rien est impossible!
Je vous conseille d'éviter Fort de France et ses environs car chers et moins sûres pour des jeunes... le nord et le sud sont différents, tout dépend de ce que vous rechercher par rapport au cadre, aux facilités mobiles, aux activités...

J'ai vécu pendant 8 ans en Martinique et mes parents y vivent encore. Pour ce qui est d'un beau village, je vous conseille les Anses d'Arlet (rares sont ceux n'ayant pas cédé à son charme), c'est dans cet authentique village de pêcheur que j'ai grandit, la mer des caraïbes est à deux pas, il y a un primaire et un college. Mais sachez avant de partir que le niveau scolaire est plutot bas en comparaison de la France. Si vos enfants sont bons à l'ecole, ils n'auront aucuns problemes mais il faudra tout de même relever le niveau si vous compter apres retourner en France. Quand à la maison à renover, je ne veut pas vous décourager, tout est possible, mais en Martinique, cela est rare. Les martiniquais possedant d'anciennes maisons refusent souvent de la louer et encore plus de la vendre. Les locations sont difficiles là-bas, un conseil méfiez-vous toujours des proprietaires trop gentils, ils se revelent souvent les plus embetants. Pour ce qui est d'une creperie, l'idée n'est pas mauvaise mais il faudrait alors vous mettre prés des plages ou dans une place ou il n'en existe pas encore. Malheureusement pour travailler sur les plages, c'est souvent tout un combat avec les mairie. En tout cas, malgrés les difficultés, la Martinique est vraiment une belle île. Apparement vous y êtes aller en vacance donc vous savez à quoi elle ressemble. Si votre mari cherche un pied à terre pour le mois de mars, je peux vous donnez l'adresse de mon pére qui loue desfois un appartement ou qui connait du monde qui en loue sur les Anses d'Arlet. Je ne peux pas vous aider pour ce qui est du transport, je ne m'en suis jamais occupée (il me semble qu'il est plus interessant de racheter une voiture d'occasion, car elle ne dure pas longtemps) mais si vous avez d'autres questions sur la vie là-bas, les possibilités pour les jeunes....je serais ravie de vous aider.
