Je sais que c'est pas la peine d'emporter ses meubles ou du gros mobilier comme électroménager, etc...
Mais chacun sait que c'est pas possible de se séparer de nos papiers administratifs, d'objets sentimentaux, de photos, etc... ça c'est pour ceux qui prendraient le précaution de nous le rappeler.

En France les prix c'est tout et n'importe quoi selon les sociétés et ils te font croire que chez eux c'est plus sûr que leurs concurrents, l'emballage est meilleur, l'assurance rembourse mieux, etc....
Un transporteur me proposait même 1200 Euros du port de Bangkok à Pran Buri lieu de ma villa ( 250 Kms )😠

NOTA: ceci est mon expérience: ca fait 20 ans que je travaille et vit à l'étranger et n'en suis pas a mon premier gros déménagement
le dernier en date de Paris intra-muros jusqu'a ChiangMai ( 1 grand conteneur plein a 80 % ) s'est parfaitement bien passé avec SANTAFE
si c'est pour un vrai déménagement de vos affaires de France vers la Thailande, la solution est par conteneur et par bateau
étant donné que c'est au volume et non au poids, vous mettez tout ce que vous avez y compris vaisselle frigo, congelo, machine a laver ...
dans le choix d'un transporteur, le plus important est de choisir un déménageur transporteur qui ait un correspondant transitaire implanté en Thailande car c'est a l'entrée en thailande que se posent les problemes ( si problemes il y a ), notamment les problemes de douane
et donc en l'occurence, SantaFe que vous citiez dans un autre post est une tres bonne référence ( c'est a eux que j'ai eu affaire pour mon dménagement - un conteneur entier )
dans le déménagement il y a 2 choses a mettre vriament au point avec votre deménageur: le cout du transport y compris le transport livré chez vous a HuaHin le cout du transitaire à l'arrivée au port de bangkok
il est évident que le cout du transport de Bangkok a Huahin risque de vous couter quasiment la moitié du prix total ( cela est tres logique : 1 colis transporté sur 250 km, comapré a un porte conteneur de 8 à 10 000 boites !)
ensuite sont a discuter, s'il s'agoit d'un volume important au départ l'emballage et la mise en carton "special deménagement" et le chargement en conteneur l'établissement du dossier de douane avec toutes les factures et la liste des objets a éviter ( alcool, ... ) le transport jusq'a Bangkok ( en général ca prend au maximum 1 mois départ de chez vous arrivée ua port de Bangkok ensuite démarre la procéduree de dédouanement ( si vous avez fait comme il fallait ca prend un ou 2 jours maxi ) ensuite le transporteur déballe le conteneur ( puisque sinon le contenuer est en "location" a la journée" et met vos affaires dns un camion de dééménagement
enfin se passe la livraison jusqu'a Huahin
étant entendu que si la livraison ne suit pas le dédouanement il faut prévoir des frais d'entreposage ;
et a l'arrivée, si vous voulez que vos colis soient débarqués, déballés et mis en palce ( pour les plus lourds ou montés à l'étage ... ) il faudra le specifier
PS: si vous avez moins d'un demi-conteneur, et moins de 2 à 3 m3, la solution DHL ou FEDEX est une "bonne " solution car elle a l'immense mérite d'assurer le service d'un bout a l'autre de la chine, meme si a priori cela parait plus cher,
un simple probleme de papier a la douane a Bangkok peut vous couter des frais d'entreposage qui sont facturés a la journée et se revèlent tres tres chers

DHL ou FEDEX : comme mentionné cela dépend du volume et du poids (et hors considérations sur les droits de doaune !) mais, je reste persuadé que bon nombre de voyageurs particuliers qui achètent des choses encombrantes en Thailande et pensent que le conteneur est la meilleure solution se font "abuser " par les transporteurs qui ne leur expliquent pas bien la significationsur leur facture, des sigles "FOB " door to door .. et se retrouvent avec un objet d'une valeur X pour lequelle ils ont payé un transport XX mais qui ne comprend jamais les droits de douane a l'arrivée
et du coup se retrouvent a abandonner leur colis a la douane ( d'autant que chaque jour d'attente a l'entrepot de la douane se facture ! )
pour les conteneurs, le cout du transport de port à port coute souvent des clopinettes
c'est toujours le transport port d'arrivée - domicile qui coute le plus cher ( parfois plus pour faire la livraison Bangkok Huahin ) que pour faire Le Havre Bangkok
pour le prix total d'un déménagement - chaque cas est un cas particulier suivant les services demandés
un apartement a déménager et a emballer ( vaisselle, verrerie, cadres photos, meubles a démonter ... cela prend souvent 3 ou 4 journées completes d'uen équipe de déménageurs ( au tarif européen) avant d'etre pret a les deposer dans le conteneur
bref
demander un devis detaillé a 2 ou 3 compagnies différentes
en vous faisant expliquer pas a pas les services compris
et ceux non compris ( dans 99% des cas les frais de douane ne seront pas compris puisque ce n'est pas le transporteur qui les fixe mais le douanier )
si ce sont des effets personnels et usagés, en regle générale il n'y a pas de taxes a l'import en Thailande
mais c'est article par article et suivant la liste détaillée et avec photocopie des factures ( electromenager, electronique, photo, informatique, ... )
évidemment votre transitaire ( si c'est un bon !) vous donnera la liste des choses qu'il vaut mieux éviter de mettre dans le conteneur ( vehicule - moto, alcools, ... nourriture )
ce sera la totalité de votre conteneur qui sera souvent bloqué pour un seul article qui pose probleme
( et pendant les negociations vous payez des frais de stockage )

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
