Oui, posez des questions un peu plus précises, et puis surtout, ne vous contentez pas de venir sur un forum ou deux, il faut aussi se procurer quelques bouquins. Si vous attendez toutes cuites toutes les réponses à vos questions, en les prenant pour argent content, d'une part vous n'avez pas fini ici (laissez tomber le boulot et l'intendance à la maison) et d'autre part vous aurez autant d'avis différents que de membres.

Après tout dépands de vos envies et de la façon dont vous invisagé de vivre en Thaïlande !?, ...car ils y à au moins 100f açons difrts de vivre la bas , ....clasifiés das le 3 grandes catégorie !....1 economique, ....2 dinamyque, et 3 hysterique !...chacune de ces façons augmente les dépanses x 2 !!..;s'il faut 1000€ pour economique (comme les Thaïs par exemple avec 200€ par mois , ...même si pour nous mission impossible de vovres comme eux car nous ne sommes pas Thais !)...il faut 2000€ pour la afçon dynamique et 4000€ pour la façon histerique ...(mais sans y être trop hysterique non plus , ....juste un peu , ...sinon c'est plus encore )

Je pense qu'avec 1000 euros c'est tout à fait possible... J'ai des voisins à Hua Hin par exemple (bien sûr c'est pas Samui ou Phuket mais c'est une ville assez sympa)... qui loue un appart pour 12000 baths dans le complexe où il y a une belle piscine et un fitness neuf... donc ca fait 380 euros par mois si on ajoute l'eau et l'électricité... ca donne environ 600 euros pour manger, se déplacer....
Maintenant il faut savoir si votre projet est d'y vivre à l'année ou si vous voulez y vivre 3 mois par an car les conditions ne sont pas les memes... Pour y vivre il vous faudra demander un visa pour retraité qui vous oblige à avoir un minimum de revenu ou encore un certain montant d'argent sur un compte thaie ou une combinaison des 2.
Ayant moi meme un appart à Hua Hin, j'ai le meme projet que vous. L'avantage que j'ai est que je n'aurai pas à payer de loyer donc j'aurai moins de dépense que vous... Le mieux est peut etre aussi d'y aller graduellement. De ne pas tout plaquer en France mais de commencer par y vivre qq semaines, ensuite qq mois et de voir sur place...
Il faut aussi que vous regardiez au niveau des assurances maladies... afin de ne pas vous retrouver dans une situation inconfortable...

Apparemment vous n'avez pas de bonnes expériences ici. Perso, je vis en Thaïlande depuis quelques temps et je vis de mon boulot plutôt pas mal. Je connais beaucoup de farangs dans mon cas, mais bien sûr peu se racontent sur les forums. Je pense sincèrement qu'on peut plus facilement gagner de l'argent ici qu'en France.

Une récente étude assez pointue a classé la Thaïlande comme troisième pays au monde où il fait bon vivre (pour un farang, l'étude concerne l'expatriation) La France est loin très loin derrière.
