Je pars faire un stage de 6 mois en Guadeloupe à partir de Juillet. Et j'ai besoin de quelques informations pour préparer mon départ.
J'espère que des Guadeloupéens ou des personnes vivant là-bas pourront me répondre.
Tout d'abord, j'ai la possibilité de faire ce stage à Port-louis ou à Basse-Terre, quelles sont les différences entre ces deux villes (touristes, climat, animations...)?
Quels sont les lieux à visiter en Guadeloupe? je pense qu'il y en a énormément et j'aurais 6 mois pour visiter.
Ensuite pour ce déplacer la-bas, que me conseillez vous? (acheter une voiture ou un scooter puis essayer de le vendre avant de partir...)
Est il dangereux de rouler en scooter (accident)?
Finalement, je suis passionné par la pêche et la chasse sous marine. Est il possible de pêcher du bord? si oui quelles espèces?
En ce qui concerne la chasse sous marine, je ne suis qu'un débutant donc pourriez vous me dire quels sont les spots accessibles à la palme et dont la profondeur va jusqu'à 10m? Quel matériel faut il prévoir?

- Port louis est situé sur la côte nord-est, avec une des plus belle plage de gwada : la plage du souffleur, mais envahit de moustiques à la tombé de la nuit. Climat, sec et chaud. C'est un peu la campagne avec beaucoup de champ de canne à sucre et une ville de pecheurs.
- Basse terre est situé au sud ouest, c'est la capital administrative, situé au pied de la souffriere. Climat pluie presque quotidienne, et moins de moustique. Attention au véhicule, les routes de gwada font travailler les mécaniques du côté basse terre. A basse terre c'est plus la ville, avec une petite délinquance qu'il n'y a pas à port louis.
Pour les visites : a faire toutes les îles de guadeloupe : saintes, marie gallante, petite terre, la désirade. La souffrière, les chutes du carbet, la cascades au écrevises. Tout est dans les guides touristes sur la gwada, qui sont bien faits.
La pêche n'est pas mon domaine, mais il y a tout sur place : chasse ou pêche du bord.
je te conseillerai d'aller à Port Louis plutot qu'à Basse Terre. Port louis est assez éloigné de pointe à pitre ou du Gosier mais moins que Basse Terre.
Si tu veux y aller dans une optique de t'intégrer, il vaut mieux rester en Grande Terre, c'est le coté de l'ile le plus dynamique.
A port louis, tu auras plutot le coté village de pécheur un peu pommé certes mais c'est là ou tous les surfeurs (petits et grands) viennent afin d'aprécier les super spots de vagues du coin ! la plage de port louis attire aussi le week end pas mal de familles.
Concernant la pêche et la plongée, je ne sais pas trop , je pense que du coté de sainte Anne, il y a des choses à faire !
sinon je te conseille sans hésiter d'acheter une voiture ! déjà parce que c'est indispensable, tu vas avoir de grande distance à parcourir ensuite parce que le scooter, tu vas te le faire voler direct !!!
après tout dépend de ce que tu recherches !! j'avoue que moi étant de la Grande Terre j'ai tendance à trouver la Basse Terre comme l'arrière campagne, c'est le coté "nature" de l'ile, ( le plus beau d'ailleurs mais donc le moins dynamique !! Néanmoins, Basse Terre est une ville très sympa, au bord de la mer, le seul problème comme je te l'ai dit c'est qu'elle totalement excentrée !
donc en résumé, soit tu vas à port louis sachant que l'endroit même est très posé mais que tu seras pas trop trp loin de ste anne, du gosier et de pointe à pitre, là ou il y a du mouvement !!
soit tu vas à basse terre, qui une ville donc plus dynamique mais trop excentrée de tout le reste !
Alors l'avantage avec Port louis est que tu pourras t initier au surf. En fait, tt depend de l objectif de ton stage mais en ce qui conncerne la vie sociale mieux vaut le faire en grande terre! alors pour la voiture tu as le systeme nanette, qui loue au mois mais acheter une voiture est aussi une solution. Oublie le scooter si tu tiens a ta vie. Basse-terre c cool mais un peu mort port louis aussi mais tu as St françois, le Moule et la Marina de Point a pitre pas trop loin.
Pour la chasse sous marine, oui tu pourras la pratiquer sans problème, c'est l'avantage d'etre sur une ile. Bon après, la liste des espèce protégés tu la trouveras facilement. Cependant faut faire gaffe certains poissons sont porteurs de maladies dangereuses pour l'homme!
Ya plein de truc avisiter sur la Basse-terre principalement si tu aimes la nature(rando, bains chauds, rivières) mais en grande terre aussi.

Les vêtements... pour tt les jours shorts et t shirts avec éventuellement un k-way, prévois un gillet, on ne sait jamais. Prends aussi quelques vêtements pour d'éventuelles randonnées!
POur le bureau chemise et pantalon.. comme ailleurs, mais avec un peu de chance ton bureau sera climatisé. Après tt dépendra de ton employeur..
Pense à ton retour en France... manteau+ vêtements chauds (haha..hahahah)
Prévois un compte en banque avec quelques économies :) la vie ici est chère et tu auras aussi qql occasion de visiter les iles voisines. (Je te conseille vivement la Dominique!)
Contre les moustiques?
heu a part tous les exterminer? une bonne moustiquaire, un bon anti moustique, ils se valent quasiment tous apres c`est la texture et l`odeur qui change reellement mais ca n`arrete pas forcement les moustiques. Sinon une spirale anti moustique fera l`affaire chez toi. Tu trouveras tt ce qu`il te faut ici...
par contre si tu es un fan de hamac et je te conseille d acheter un hamac avec moustiquaire a nature et decouverte ou ailleurs si tu trouves! (dsl pour les accents j`ecris avec un clavier qwerty)
sinon j`essaie d`avoir les coordonnees pour la location de vehicule dans la semaine.
