des francais , il y en a , expatriés entre autre, mais tua plus de chance de les voir soit a phuket ou encore pattaya
Mais y a pas des endroits "typiques" ou les expats ont l'habitude de se rencontrer?
😇non il n y pas d endroit spécifique ou les expats se rencontrent , coté francais tout est éparpillé sur bangkok , un endroit ou tu trouves des francais , c est chez serge restaurant au bouchon patpong 2 , un petit nombre , tu pourra toujours discuter avec serge le patron , sinon dans la meme rue patpong2 tu as le french kiss open bar , il y a toujours deux trois french assit , mais ça peu tout aussi bien etre des touristes français...sinon il y a les snooker place bar restaurant sur sukhumvit.......les expats anglais tu les trouvent dans les english pub au bar , des allemands et francais chez otto et le beerhouse sukhumvit soi 11.
il y a le beergarten soi 7 sukhumvit très fréquenté par les expats , et les bars sur soi 7/1 sukhumvit.....dans ces bars les expats sont plutot ouvert au dialogue.
Le seul et meilleur moyen de te faire des connaissances dans le milieu des expats reste les chambres de commerce qui font des soirée/Diner une fois par mois, puis de la , tu te feras de nouveaux copains avec qui tu partiras sans doute en virée sur patpong et sukhumvit.
salut fait toi des amis thaïes ils sont plus sanook plus simples moins hautains et plus réel
🤪la.... il y a un sérieux doute.......en vingt cinq ans je n ais jamais rencontré d expats irrééls....par contre des iréel thais tu en trouves dans tous les coins de rue....😄 faudrait faire un sondage sur 100.000 expats combien sont iréels.. réel ou a moitié réels...
😇 puis EN THAILANDE faut bien faire la différence entre ami . une connaissance ...collègue de travail...
généralement tu sauras qui est ton ami quand tu auras besoin d aide sans moyennant des sous... les sois disant amis thais d un coup n existent plus dans ce cas , ils auront pris la poudre d escampètte....

Merci à tous pour vos informations. Bon, bah jeudi soir, j'irai peut etre boire un verre sur le toit de la State Tower. Parait que ça vaut le coup. Je connais déjà un peu la thailande et la mentalité des gens du coin. Je pense que ça va etre compliqué d'avoir de vraies relations avec des Thai, sans qu'ils n'attendent quelque chose en retour. C'est pour ça que j'aurai espéré rencontrer quelques européens dans la capitale thailandaise...🙂

non seulement les thaïes sont sympathiques mais ils peuvent aussi vous ouvrir des portes dans la société thaïe , ,

le problème de toute société étrangère .est si on veut se faire des Véritables amis , , il faut laisser ses principes a la porte et les accepter comme ils sont , , c'est a dite très bien , , bien sur comme toute société il ya les profiteurs , , mais comme dit le proverbe , , qui s'assemble se ressemble , ,
pour la note positive , , le membre peut aller boire un verre , au saxophone , , dont 50 % de la clientèle est thaïe et 50 % des étrangers de passages , ,
puis par la suite aller plus vers des thais comme les vendredi soir et samedi soir dans les bistrops de chachuchat , ,
la il ya une faune d'étudiants créateurs artistes écrivains , etc très sympa , , et loin du monde proposer par les expats aigri ...........

Si tu es à Sathorn, si tu veux rencontrer des Français commence par l'alliance française. C'est surtout des familles qui la fréquentent, mais tu peux aussi rencontrer des étudiants thaïs francophones ou des jeunes VI ou stagiaires français. Lis le gavroche (en ligne) et vois les événements culturels français, voir contacter l'association francophone de Bangkok si le coeur t'en dit. Sinon comme les autres l'ont dit, les restos français, les événements culturels français, les bars... On est vraiment très nombreux. Et des expats de tout genre, donc tu auras le choix de tes rencontres. Tout dépend aussi de ce que tu aimes et recherches.
Mais moi non plus je ne peux pas m'empêcher de te conseiller de fréquenter des Thaïs aussi car ça rendra ton séjour beaucoup plus sympa et intéressant.
Bienvenue en Thaïlande ! Tu verras ce n'est pas plus difficile qu'ailleurs et tu ne vas pas le regretter !

salut tout dépend du budget .. ne pas oublier que il ya le sky train et on est pas obliger de vivre dans ce coin .. surtout on peut pas dire que sathorn sont un coin des plus vivants .. 🤪

Ecoute tout va bien ici. Et toi, que viens tu faire à Bangkok? J'habite justement à Sathorn, mais je devrais bientot bouger.
je m installe pour 3 ans, expatriée par ma boite.
Je viens de passer une petite semaine à Bgk , pas eu le temps d'en voir grand chose malheureusement ...
La grande rue de Sathorn n'est en effet pas bien sympathique, je vais plutot pencher vers Silom ou entre les deux vers Soi Saladaeng ect...
Si vous avez des conseils n'hesitez pas , c'est toujours un peu difficile de se "projeter" dans une ville qu'on ne connait pas bien : )

Je suis étudiante et je m'apprête à venir passer quelques mois à Bkk pour un stage à partir de Fin Février, je voudrais savoir si vous pourriez me conseiller, vous qui êtes déjà sur place, un endroit sympa pour soit une collocation (avec expat, ou thai) je ne sais pas si le système de la colloc est répandue chez les Thais soit un appart seul.
On m'a déjà proposé un 30 Sqm à Sathorn pour 300 € /m
J'avoue que j'esperais quelque chose d'un peu moins cher mais parait il que le quartier est dans le centre de Bkk.
Environ 3 a 4 fois le prix du meme appartement qui ne serait pas a Sathorn,
Apres le "centre ville" c'est relatif, un des 2 ou 3 centres economiques oui, il y a aussi le centre touristique (Banglampoo).
Franchement a part pour bosser sur Sathorn je ne vois pas l'interet de louer un appart la bas, mais ca ne regarde que moi.
Pour 3 mois essaie de trouver un appart tu as des appart tres sympa pour 140 euros en cherchant bien dans d'autres quartiers (Samsen, Pinklao, Thewet) au moins tu seras deja plus en Thailande.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
