Hi,

I'm looking for a train to get to Orly Terminal 4—I'm leaving from Charleroi in Belgium.

Does it seem complicated?

Hello, There are 17 trains per day from Charleroi to Paris. With a change either in Brussels, Mons, or Maubeuge (France). The fastest route (2h 41min) is via Brussels. The other routes take between 03h and 03h 20.

All trains arrive at Paris Gare du Nord.

From Paris Gare du Nord, take the RER Line B to Antony (it goes as far as St Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, with a train every 15 minutes—journey time: 30 minutes). https://www.ratp.fr/sites/default/files/lines-assets/plan-de-ligne/rer/plan-de-ligne_rer_ligne-b.1726478346.pdf At Antony, take the Orlyval (journey time: 7 minutes).

Hi. Once you arrive at Paris Nord (following Djalma’s tips), you also have this option: From Gare du Nord, take the RER B (toward Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse or Robinson) to Châtelet–Les Halles (one stop from Gare du Nord), then take metro line 14, which will take you directly to Orly (the station is at T3, but you can easily get to T4). For the ticket, you’ll need a Paris Region Aeroport pass, valid from Gare du Nord, priced at 13 € Paris Region Airports Ticket for trips to Orly and CDG

One stop? More like 7 stops, if I’m not mistaken. Gare de l’Est, Château d’Eau, Strasbourg-Saint-Denis, Réaumur, Étienne Marcel, Les Halles, Châtelet. Anyway, it doesn’t seem like our answers are really grabbing their attention... 🙁

hi, The RER B goes directly from Gare du Nord to Châtelet (RER Line B map | RATP). I think the line you’re referring to is Metro Line 4 ;-) Anyway, that link has all the info you need to get around stress-free 😛

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I was thinking about the metro.

A huge thank you for all your detailed and thorough answers. I found a solution with a taxi :-/ I'm traveling with suitcases, my dog, etc., to Martinique ;-) to see my kids who’ve been living there for 2 years (that explains the big luggage ;-). Public transport options seem a bit complicated for a young retiree with so much stuff and clutter.

Thanks a million to all of you!
