Si oui: Quels sont les travaux à faire? Est - ce que ca vous a plu? Est - ce que vous avez travaillé seul ou en équipe plutôt et enfin: Comment sont les campings dans le sud de la France?
Personnellement, j'ai travaillé durant six étés de suite à l'accueil d'un grand camping dans les Alpes françaises. C'était un job d'été, mais il m'a bien plu pour "récidiver" aussi longtemps (et faire encore quelques extras depuis) !
Pour répondre à tes questions concernant le fait de travailler en équipe et des travaux à faire, tout dépend de la taille et du standing de ce camping.> Plus il sera grand, plus il y a du monde à travailler, en même temps, et donc de travaux à faire, que l'on se répartit...> Plus le standing (le nombre d'étoiles) est élevé, plus nombreux sont les services proposés à la clientèle, et donc les travaux à faire...
Je vois dans ton profil que tu es réceptionniste.
L'accueil d'un camping, c'est avant tout de la réception, comme en hôtellerie : accueil des clients, procédure d'inscription à l'arrivée (check-in), éventuellement accompagnement du client à son emplacement, fournir tous les renseignements qu'ils demandent (vie quotidienne, tourisme...), éventuellement les aider dans leurs démarches (compte tenu de problèmes de langues), procédure de sortie et paiement (check-out)... et éventuellement location ou prêt de matériels (jeux pour enfants, clés d'une salle d'activité, rallonges électriques...), petits services administratifs (fax, imprimante...).
Dans certains camping, d'autres tâches peuvent t'être demandées :
Par exemple, dans le grand camping (600 places) où j'étais, je prenais 1 fois par jour le vélo, pour pointer place par place les clients présents (pour vérifier qu'ils étaient aux bonnes places, pas partis sans payer...) ;
dans un autre, beaucoup plus petit, le personnel de réception se relayait aussi à la mini-épicerie du camping (pour faire la vente donc) et au snack (cuisson et service de plats de restauration rapide, glaces...), effectuant quelques tâches ménagères (nettoyage quotidien des locaux de réception, épicerie, snack et sanitaires associés... et le samedi, participation au nettoyage des bungalows entre les clients). Avec nos capacités d'animation acquises par ailleurs, le patron nous avait aussi demandé d'organiser des activités pour les enfants (travaux manuels, grands jeux de plein-air, "compétition" dans la piscine...)...
Voilà une liste non exhaustive d'activités qui peuvent être demandées. Encore une fois, tout dépend de la taille, du standing et de l'organisation du camping.
Au sud de la France (c'est grand !), tu as toute sorte de camping, du plus petit et sommaire, au plus grand et luxueux (à la limite de la résidence de vacances)... mais tu auras partout une grosse clientèle étrangère, avec beaucoup de Hollandais, pas mal d'Anglais, d'Allemands mais d'autres Européens aussi, sans oublier les Français (pas les moins pénibles 😉 !) surtout en août...
Si tu envisages de venir pour la saison d'été 2006, tu t'y prends un peu tard, si tu n'as pas déjà décroché un emploi dans un de ces campings...

Alors d'abord il faut que je vérifie à quel camping je travaille pour connaître sa taille et pour te donner plus de détails. Je me suis déjà douté de cette différence en fonction de la taille, donc je vais demander au service de recrutement de travail auquel je dois mon poste (Presque impossible d'en obtenir soi - même si l'on n'habite pas sur place) pour connaitres les détails de mon camping.
Perso, ca me plaît beaucoup qu'il y ait beaucoup d'etrangers là - bas - cC me permettra de pratiquer mes langues (Je suis étranger d'origine autrichienne avec des bonnes connaissances de la langue francaise - Même si je ne trouve pas la cédille sur ce clavier 😉 Je parle couramment l'anglais, l'italien un peu et l'espagnol)
Les néerlandais devront se contenter avec mon allemand, mais en général ils se contentent avec tout quand on leur donne à boire 😉
Pour le reste, je vais voir. Moi j'aimerais bien travailler en équipe si ce sera possible. Ca me motive beaucoup plus que de travailler tout seul

P.S: Quels métiers est - ce que tu as exercé en hiver pendant la période durant laquelle tu as travaillé aux campings?
L'hiver... ou plutôt de septembre à mai (automne + hiver + printemps), j'étais lycéenne ou étudiante ! Mon travail au camping constituait l'essentiel de mes ressources financières pour le reste de l'année.
Pour ce qui est des Néerlandais, tu verras avec ton allemand et ton anglais et quelques semaines de pratique, tu comprendras déjà beaucoup leur langue ! Et puis, les très rares qui ne pratiquent pas l'anglais, parlent l'espagnol ou le français... on finit bien toujours pas se comprendre !
Au fait, dans quel coin du sud tu vas ? Sur la Côte d'Azur ? vers les Pyrénées ?...

Je viens de finir mes études à moi il y a deux ans et j'ai travaillé à la réception depuis ce qui ne correspond pas tout à fait à ma qualification, mais ca me fait beaucoup plaisir quand - même
