Nous partons, ma copine et moi, à Cork le 27 Novembre pour une durée indéterminée, 1 an au minimum.
Je ne connais pas bien l'irlande et cork. Je me demande si c'est facile de trouver du boulot. on est dans la restauration et on sait qu'il y a du boulot partout mais on en est pas sur pour Cork. Apparemment ça a l'air de fonctionner comme en Angleterre pour le travail et pour le logement.
Est que je me trompe où tout ce que j'ai dis est juste?
Nous parlons pas trop mal anglais car on a travailler 2 ans à Londres donc on arrivera à se débrouiller pour se faire comprendre...mais je sais que l'accent irlandais est assez chantant et qu'il faut un temps d'adaptation pour tout comprendre.
Y'a t'il quelqu'un qui vit à Cork et qui connait Cork qui peut me donner quelques tuyaux du style le meilleur quartier pour habiter? où sont les resto pour trouver du travail? si c'est une ville sympa, etc.
En gros Cork est il le bon choix? si oui/non pourquoi?
OUI. En tout cas je ne regrette pas d'avoir quitté Dublin. Maintenant tout dépend de ce que tu recherches. A dublin je n'aimais pas le prix du loyer, le prix de la vie en fait aussi. La ville en elle-même et le fait de passer 2h30 dans un Bus chaque jour.
Cork c'est plus petit (mais qd même la seconde plus grande d'Irlande), à taille un peu plus humaine. Pour habiter, je te dirais de taper proche du centre ou dans le centre ville ( par contre le centre est pas vraiment enorme). Ca dépend si tu as une voiture car j'imagine que tu travailleras surement ds un resto du centre.
Pour l'accent, Cork c'est pas la joie. Si tu compare Limerick, Galway, Dublin et Cork. Tu peux vraiment sentir la différence à Cork, car tu comprends rien au début par rapport aux autres villes ou c'est encore faisable. Leur accent est très marqué. Ca chante, ça ferme la bouche, bouffe la fin des mots mais ... on s'y fait.

Une de mes motivations est le loyer effectivement. Ensuite une capitale reste une capitale et je préfère une ville plus petite mais dynamique telle que Bordeaux en France où je suis. Maintenant en terme de travail, j'espère bien trouver quelque chose d'interressant mais effectivement je pense qu'il va falloir débuter sans ambition pour comprendre leur anglais...

En ce qui concerne la sécu sociale, téléphone à ta sécu et demande leur ta carte de sécu européenne que tu recevra dans les 15 jours. Elle est valable 1 an ensuite de toute façon, si tu bosses en irlande, tu auras aussi un numéro de sécu là bas.
Pour le reste tu as le site internet que tous le monde cite dans le forum sur l'irlande.

mais nous on s en est lassé, salaire très très bas, logement très chère etc, mais je ne regrette rien je m y suis bien éclatée 😉!
nous avons décidé d aller nous installer a cork en novembre, les loyers sont abordable, apparemment il y a pas mal de call center et c est plutôt pas mal payé.
les démarche sont inexistante, mises a part la secu; PPS.

mon copain est francais, parle espagnole, catalan, anglais.
moi juste le francais et l espagnole et de très petites bases d anglais.
nous sommes crepier et cuisinier diplômé.
nous avons deja travaillé dans 2 call center tout les 2.
