1. j'ai pas mon PPS no et j'ai compris que la paie sans le pps est de 600 euro/mois net (maxi 800 euro). combien de temps faut-il pour l'obtenir? et en fait c'est combien le salaire débutant? (net)
2. la première paie est au bout de combien de semaines à partir du 1er jour de recrutement?
3. l'agence de recrutement dit ouvrir le compte bancaire elle-meme; est-ce normal?
4. vous connaissez les horaires? no heures/jour?
5. j'ai appris qu'on commence aussi à 6h. le bus 226 ou autre passe par là à cette heure-là?
6. le travail, il est comment? dur? pauses ou pas?
1. Pour le PPS, une fois les démarches effectuées il faut patienter une dizaine de jours pour obtenir ton PPS par courrier.
Sans PPS, l'Irlande t'enlève environ 40% de ton salaire (au lieu d'environ 20) mais tu récupèreras l'argent dès que tu obtiendras ton PPS.
Moi fin 2010 avec l'agence Expect Talent, je touchais 10.10 de l'heure brut.
2. J'étais payée à la semaine par l'agence, environ 400€ par semaine et si je me souviens bien, j'ai touché la première paie le mercredi de la deuxième semaine de formation.
3. Jamais entendu ça, peut-être qu'ils font ça pour t'aider avec les démarches. Amazon a un accord avec Ulster Bank, les employés ne paient aucun frais bancaires.
4. Les horaires changent selon ton shift mais pour la formation ce sera sûrement 8h - 17h lun - ven. Après les shifts font généralement 8h par jour (des fois 10h) du lundi au dimanche de 6h à 21h (pour les agents du service client, ça varie légèrement pour le service vendeurs).
5. Les jours de semaine + samedi il devrait y avoir un bus le matin, pour dimanche (à vérifier) Amazon se débrouille pour un taxi.
6. Niveau travail au début pour moi les journées passaient très vite. Pour la difficulté, on est quand même bien encadrés en tant que débutant, ça dépend surtout si le client que tu as au téléphone est sympa. La cadence peut paraître difficile au début mais une fois que tu seras habitué/e ça ira tout seul.
Il y a des pauses bien sûr, 2 d'un quart d'heure et 1 de 30min pour déjeuner. 1 seule pause est payée, tu passes donc 8h45 à Amazon et tu bosses 7h45.

Es-tu à Cork déjà ? Tu commences quand ? Et à quel poste (Vendeurs, acheteurs, Kindle...) ?
Pour ma part, j'ai aussi la possibilité de partir travailler dans un call center Amazon à Cork en tant que "Chargé de la clientèle" -- ce qui consiste à répondre à des mails et au téléphone.
C'est un contrat de 2 mois (environ mi-Novembre à mi-Janvier) et j'étais intéressé car c'est bien payé.
Mais j'ai 19 ans, ce sera mon premier job et j'ai un peu peur de franchir le pas. Je suis déjà venu en Irlande 3 semaines à Dublin. J'étais plus à l'aise car la ville est plus grande (plus de transports, plus d'aisance, etc.).

comment ça se passera avec les tests d'entretien pour toi? 2 mois me semble très peu, compte tenu du fait que tu as aussi des formalités à faire et un training!

Pour les tests, tout se fait à distance par téléphone et par Skype. Pour le salaire, c'est 10.5 l'heure, brut. Je m'étais emporté croyant que c'était du net. Quelqu'un pourrait me donner une approximation du montant net (merci) ?
Et pour le compte en banque, est-ce vraiment nécessaire d'en ouvrir un là-bas ? Si la monnaie euro est la même (quasi) partout en UE et les numéros de comptes européens (IBAN) sont à présent plus que courants, ce n'est pas pour se retrouver à ouvrir des comptes à l'étranger. Surtout pour deux mois comme dans mon cas.
Je croyais que c'étais intéressant pour une première expérience à l'étranger, mais je n'en suis plus si sûr.

Faudrait avoir un PPS no pour encaisser le 10,5 brut par mois, sinon tu auras une taxe de 40% prélevée de ton salaire.
Pourquoi seulement 2 mois? avec les loyers et les charges, et le transport en commun, il faut prévoir quelque mille euro pour s'installer.
Les tests, tu les as passés? c'est quoi plus précisément, comme questions?

Ca me parait en effet fort juste quand je regarde la balance rentrées/sorties d'argent. Le but était en fait de mettre de côté de l'argent pour un futur séjour de 3 mois pour un stage tout en me familiarisant avec un milieu professionnel irlandais. Un peu raté…
J'ai bien prévenu l'agence que je n'étais pas encore sûr de franchir le pas. Donc pour les tests, il est convenu qu'on me passe un coup de téléphone semaine prochaine pour les débuter, sauf si je me "désiste".
Sur ce qu'il m'a été dit, il y a des tests sur les connaissances des technologies (je cite : "des questions toutes bêtes de base : qu'est ce qu'un smartphone, etc."), pour savoir si tu es capable de te débrouiller sur un ordinateur (hum), des questions pour ton anglais, sur les produits et le site d'Amazon.
Pour vous parler un peu de mon expérience, j'avais 21ans quand je suis partie du jour au lendemain pour un simple entretien pour Amazon. Heureusement que j'ai été prise et que j'ai commencé assez vite car niveau finances j'ai passé un budget de 1200€ avant de toucher ma première paie (en comptant le premier mois de loyer + caution, les nuits passées à l'auberge de jeunesse et les sorties + visites touristiques). Ca a été une très bonne expérience pour moi et je ne peu que t'encourager Didierddv à sauter le pas.
Pour le milieu professionnel irlandais, il vous faudra maitriser un peu l'anglais pour la vie de tous les jours et les agences qui vous engagent mais le boulot se fait en français et vous sortirez vraisemblablement avec les collègues en dehors du taf donc entre français. Bcp sont déçus de ne pas être plus immergés à la longue mais pour un début c'est quand même bien rassurant je trouve.
Pour ce qui est du compte en banque, à voir avec l'agence mais sache que Amazon a un arrangement avec l'Ulster Bank et que tu ne paieras aucun frais bancaires pour ouvrir un compte irlandais.
Et pur les tests d'entretien, c'est comme cité: qu'est-ce qu'un smartphone, le WiFi, la 3G... Part rapport à Amazon : qu'est-ce que Marketplace... Et un exercice sur des infos sur un article à retrouvées sur le site. Et ils testent également la frappe au clavier (vitesse convenable, pas besoin d'être très rapide, et si on fait bcp de fautes), c'était sur un clavier QWERTY pour bcp alors ne vous inquiètez pas.
Je prends un avion mercredi pour Cork, je commence à travailler chez Amazon lundi prochain.
Je voudrais faire une coloc, j'ai donc commencé à regarder les sites gumtree.ie et daft.ie, mais je trouve qu'il n'y a pas énormément d'annonces.

J'arrive un peu tard mais si t'as tjs rien, essaie peut-être EasyCork, c'est une agence qui s'occupe d'héberger plein d'étrangers à Cork (et ailleurs). Tu trouves des loyers pour moins cher mais j'avais des collègues qui aimaient bcp car ils étaient en coloc avec plusieurs nationalités différentes et c'était assez animé. Je sais pas s'ils auront des dispos à cette saison par contre.

J'ai fait quelques recherches mais je ne sais pas si elles correspondent aux commentaires que je lis ça et là concernant des postes en tant que "native french speaker".
